Speed of the heart
Speed of the heart
As Vrishti stepped out of her apartment, Rajveer was struck by her morning beauty. Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of night, with subtle hints of auburn that danced in the morning light. Her eyes, still had a tinge with sleep, sparkled like diamonds, their brightness piercing through the soft glow of morning.
Her skin, a radiant canvas of porcelain, glowed with a subtle warmth, as if kissed by the sun itself. The gentle curves of her face, the softness of her lips, and the delicate shape of her nose all blended together in a symphony of elegance.
A light dusting of kajal lined her upper lash line, adding depth to her eyes without overpowering their natural sparkle. A subtle hint of blush kissed her cheeks, giving her a soft, rosy glow. Her lips wore a faint sheen of lip balm, their natural pink colour shining through.
She wore a simple yet elegant papaya orange kurta and also the same colour pyjama , its fabric accentuating her slender figure. Around her neck, a lighter red and dark pink mixed dupatta added a pop of colour, its delicate fabric draping elegantly around her shoulders. Oxidised earrings adorned her ears, their subtle shine complementing her natural beauty. A small nasal stone on her left side added a touch of sophistication, glinting in the morning light.
On her feet, she wore black medium heels, their simplicity allowing her natural elegance to shine through. The way the morning light danced across her features, illuminating the gentle contours of her face, left Rajveer breathless.
For a moment, he forgot to breathe, forgot to think, forgot everything except the beauty standing before him. Vrishti's morning beauty was a sight to behold, a true masterpiece that left Rajveer spellbound.
Vrishti's eyes widened in surprise as she find to find Rajveer standing outside her apartment, his dark hair perfectly styled, and his piercing eyes gleaming with a warm, gentle smile.
"Veer! What brings you here?" she asked, her voice tinged with confusion and a hint of delight.
Rajveer leaned against the wall of his black Lamborghini, his arms crossed over his chest, exuding a relaxed, effortless charm. "First of all, if anyone meets you in the morning, you have to greet them with a good morning," he teased, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Vrishti looked at him with a gap she parted her lips to respond, but Rajveer continued before she could speak. "And speaking of which, I'd like to accompany you to your aunt's house today. I know it's a special day for you, and I didn't want you to go alone."
Vrishti's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, her eyes dropping momentarily before meeting Rajveer's gaze again. "You didn't have to do that, Veer. I'm perfectly fine going alone," she protested, her voice softening despite her attempt to sound convincing.
Rajveer pushed off the wall, his eyes locked onto hers. "I insist, Vrishti. Besides, I want to make sure you arrive safely. And I have a surprise for you."
Vrishti hesitated, unsure of what to say. She didn't want to be rude, but she wasn't comfortable with Rajveer accompanying her either.
Rajveer sensed her hesitation and took a step closer. "Come on, Vrishti. I promise I won't take up too much of your time. And I really want to do this for you."
Vrishti relented, seeing the stubbornness in Rajveer's eyes. "Fine, but just for a little while."
Rajveer grinned, his eyes sparkling with triumph. "That's all I ask."
He led her to his black Lamborghini, the interior sleek and luxurious. The soft leather seats enveloped Vrishti in comfort, and the subtle scent of leather and luxury cologne filled her senses.
The dashboard, adorned with sleek, silver trim, gleamed in the morning light, its modern design and cutting-edge technology is a testament to Rajveer's impeccable taste. The steering wheel, wrapped in supple leather, fit perfectly in Rajveer's hands, while the gearshift, crafted from polished silver, seemed to whisper promises of a smooth, exhilarating ride.
As Vrishti settled in, her eyes wandered to the elegant center console, where a sleek, touchscreen display seemed to float above the surface. The subtle glow of the screen cast a soft light on Rajveer's chiseled features, highlighting the strong lines of his face.
The interior was a masterclass in understated opulence, a perfect blend of style, sophistication, and cutting-edge technology. Vrishti felt like she was cocooned in a private, luxurious world, one that was both exhilarating and intimidating.
As they drove, Vrishti couldn't help but wonder why Rajveer was being so insistent. She knew he was a busy person, and yet, he was taking time out to accompany her to her aunt's house.
Rajveer, sensing her gaze, turned to her and smiled. "What's on your mind, Mittu?"
Vrishti shrugged, feeling a little shy. "Just wondering why you're doing all this for me."
Rajveer's expression softened, his eyes warm with friendship. "Because, Mittu, you deserve it. And I want to be a good friend to you.”
Rajveer's smile grew wider as he said, "And now, we're business partners, Mittu . You're the new MD of Shetty Company, and I must say, I'm impressed by your talent and dedication. We have long years to work together and achieve great things."
Vrishti's eyes grew wide as she processed his words, but it was the last phrase that made her heart skip a beat - "We have long years to work together and achieve great things."
Heat flushed her ears, and her heart pounded in her chest, leaving her unsure if it was fear or excitement.
She couldn't deny the flutter in her chest as she looked at Rajveer, his eyes sparkling with warmth and sincerity. She had always been able to brush off men who approached her, but there was something about Rajveer that made her hesitate.
It wasn't his wealth or status that drew her in; Vrishti had never been materialistic. She had always been content with her simple life, capable of fulfilling her own needs. But there was a void in her heart, a sense of longing she couldn't quite explain.
As she gazed into Rajveer's eyes, Vrishti felt a connection she couldn't ignore. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she knew she couldn't deny him like she had others. There was something about Rajveer that made her want to know him better, to explore the possibility of what could be.
As Rajveer turned the key, the engine roared to life, its smooth purr a promise of the power that lay beneath. Vrishti's heart skipped a beat as Rajveer's eyes met hers, his gaze sparkling with a hint of mischief and adventure. She knew she was in for a ride like no other.
Rajveer gazed at Vrishti, he knew he was flirting shamelessly to grab her attention. But deep down, he acknowledged a truth he couldn't ignore - he had never accompanied a girl to meet her relatives before. Vrishti was the first person to challenge him, to make him want to break his own rules.
Rajveer was accustomed to being the one in control, the one who could effortlessly charm any woman he desired. He wasn't a man for every girl, but he was the man every girl couldn't resist, not even in bed. But Vrishti was different. She had sparked a desire within him, a desire to possess her, to make her his.
Yet, as he looked into her eyes, he sensed a warning sign, a whisper in his mind that he might be trapped this time. Vrishti wasn't like the others; she was a puzzle he couldn't easily solve. He felt an inkling that she might be the one to see past his facade, to uncover the real him beneath the surface.
Rajveer's heart raced with excitement and a hint of fear. He wasn't used to feeling this way, and it both thrilled and terrified him. He knew he wanted Vrishti, but he also knew he might be playing with fire. For the first time in his life, he felt like he was losing control, like he was walking into uncharted territory. And yet, he couldn't resist the pull, the allure of the unknown.
