PART 5. EPILOGUE - 7 YEARS LATER

25 year old Khushi Arnav Raizada concluded her narration as she leaned over the bassinet which was placed in the middle of the room, "Aur is tarah humein pata chala ki tumhaare Papa itne bure bhi nahi hai! Aur aaj ki kahaani khatam! Baaki ki kahaani kal sunaaungi!" She smiled at her six month old daughter lying in the bassinet. The child giggled at Khushi and grabbed one of the locks of her hair hanging by her. Khushi shook her head in mock anger and pulled her hair gently out of the baby's hand. She narrowed her eyes playfully at her daughter, "Tum dikhne mein bhale hi humaari jaisi ho par tumhaari harqatein bilkul tumhaare papa jaisi hai!" She placed her hands on the bassinet and pushed it slightly making it rock and her daughter giggle.

"And you have started your complain! Har waqt meri beti ke paas aati ho aur meri complain karti ho! This is not right Khushi!" Khushi looked up to see her husband of 2 years enter the room dressed to nines in three piece suit. Haaye Maiyya! Battees ke ho chuke hain! Phir bhi utne hi handsome lagte hain jitna saat saal pehle lagte the jab humne inhein pehli baar dekha tha! Khushi shyly smiled at her husband and looked back at her daughter. Khushi was also dressed up in a designer saree with khaandani Raizada Jewelry and looking as beautiful as she looked when she entered the Shantivan as the elder bahu exactly two years ago. Arnav came close to Khushi and stood silently behind her. Khushi turned around and crashed right into him. Arnav shook his head, "You had to come and crash with me, right Khushi?" Khushi looked at him in anger but did not say anything as she knew that even after her sister's marriage she continued to crash into him without any reason. It was as if Devi Maiyya wanted them to be together.

Arnav continued speaking, "Tum neeche party chodke kyun aagayi? Sab tumhaare baare mein pooch rahe the!" Today was their 2^nd Marriage Anniversary and Aakash and Anjali had thrown a party for them. Khushi smiled at him, "Bas aisa laga jaise Arushi humein bula rahi hai!" Both turned and looked at their daughter Arushi, who looked at them and giggled. Arnav rolled his eyes, "Tum without reason worry karti ho Khushi! Arushi is my daughter, Arnav Singh Raizada ki beti hai..." Khushi pressed her hand on Arnav's mouth cutting him off, "Haan! Haan! Humein sab pata hai! Aap kaun hai aur kya cheez hain, saalon se pata hai!" She pulled away from Arnav and walked over to the only window in the room. Arnav smiled at his daughter and handed her his finger. Arushi grabbed it eagerly and started playing with it while Arnav looked on amusedly.

"Yakeen nahi hota na Arnavji", Khushi's words pulled Arnav's attention from his daughter to his wife and he frowned, unsure as to what she was talking about. Khushicontinued to speak as she leaned on the window frame with her arms folded against her chest while looking out, "Kya aapne kabhi socha tha Arnavji? Jab hum pehli baar mile the kya aapne kabhi socha tha ki aap aur hum ek honge? Us waqt toh humaari ladaai toh aisi thi ki sabko laga hum jaani dushman ban gaye hain!" She giggled a bit and continued to look out. After a while when her husband did not reply, she turned to look at him. Arnav seemed to be lost in his thoughts and Khushi frowned, "Kya soch rahe hain aap Arnavji?" Arnav continued to think for a while and then he nodded to himself as if he had just made a decision. Khushi continued to stare at him in confusion.

After a while, Arnav walked towards the window with a knowing smile on his face. Khushi's expression showed puzzlement as she watched Arnav come and stand beside her. Arnav looked out of the window, "Ek baat hai Khushi jo maine tumse chupa rakhi thi! I think this is the right time to tell you!" Khushi continued to stare at him and Arnav smirked, "Tumhein pata nahi hoga Khushi! Par mujhe pata tha ki tum ek din meri banogi!" "Kya? Woh kaise?", Khushi was beyond confused now and her expression showed that. Arnav turned towards her and folded his arms against his chest. He gave her a knowing look, "Tumhein kya lagta hai? Tum baar baar mujhse aise hi takraati thi?" Khushi's jaw dropped open as her eyes widened. She was unable to comprehend the implications of what Arnav meant for a second before it all came crashing over her. Arnav's smirk turned into full blown smug grin and he winked at her and walked away.

It took a while for Khushi to come out of the stupor and she ran after Arnav. Just as Arnav was about to step out of the room, Khushi grabbed his arm and turned him around. The smirk on his face which she used to love a while ago was irritating her currently as the meaning behind his words became clearer to her. Oh! How she wished she could punch the smirk off his face! "Arnavji!", Khushi whispered unable to say anything else. Arnav spoke up, "Everything was planned Mrs. Raizada! Everything! Pehli baar tumhein Aakash aur Paayal ke sangeet mein dekha tha aur usi din mujhe tumse pyaar hogaya! Lekin jab maine tumse baat karne ki koshish ki toh tum nervousness ki wajah se mujhe avoid karti rahi! Kya karun kuch samajh nahi aaya! Aur upar se Naaniji ko shaq hone lag gaya! Main nahi chaahta tha ki kisi ko pata chale ki Arnav Singh Raizada ek ladki ke liye crazy hogaya!" Khushi looked at him in shock. Did that mean the protests Arnav had done till their marriage was just a drama to maintain his image?

Arnav continued to speak as he turned away and looked at Arushi. Due to this, he did not notice his wife's increasing anger. "Phir maine Paayal se baat ki jisne mujhe bataaya ki tumhein agar ghussa dilaaya jaaye toh tum kisise bhi nahi darti! Toh bas main tumse takraata gaya aur tumse ladta gaya!" He turned to look at Khushi and Khushi looked away not wanting to show his anger to him right away. She wanted to know the full story before taking any decision. Arnav opened his mouth and angered Khushi more with his words, "What do you think? Tum Lucknow se Dilli, Dilli se AR Fashion House aur AR se mere kamre tak as my wife aise hi aayi ho? It was all planned!" He grabbed her from behind and pulled her close to him. He hugged her from behind and kissed her cheek, "I love you Khushi! Us din se aaj tak I Love You! Aur yeh sab khel maine khela tumhein apna banaane ke liye!" He pulled away and walked off to join the party downstairs leaving behind a flabbergasted Khushi.

As you guys all know, my stories are never complete without atleast one shock and one twist. I have already shocked you guys by ending the story in such an abrupt manner! And now here is my twist!

Dhoom Dhadakka is a part of a four part series called Miss. I-Love-To-Fight versus Akdu Raizada with each part showing a different part of Arnav and Khushi's life!

First part was Dhoom Dhadakka which set the stage for the story! It also set the theme for the series which is romantic comedy with a dash of drama!

Next up in this series is Jab Se Tere Naina where we will see what Arnav meant when he said to Khushi,

"What do you think? Tum Lucknow se Dilli, Dilli se AR Fashion House aur AR se mere kamre tak as my wife aise hi aayi ho? It was all planned!"
