Chapter:15 Jeevika started gettin nervous, its 12 am , there was no sign of Viren till now. After a while, she decided to dial his office number, so that she'll get some info abt him being late! The office secretary attended the call. S: Hello,this is Vadhera Texco, who's speaking? J: [frantic] Hello, i'm Jeevika Vadhera, Can i speak to Viren plz? S: Oh sorry to say, but he had already left the office! J: Left the office? When did he leave? S: Mmm... i think , 1 hour back... J: [tensed] 1 hour, but he hadn't reached home till now? S: Do u need any help Ma'am. J: Hmm... No thankss, i think he might be trapped in a busy traffic, thanx for the info! She kept her phone on the table. Asusal she started her usual 'Q nd A' to herself. Jeevika: I can understand that he might be caught in a busy traffic, but i really can't understand y did he switched off the phone. Mr.Viren, get ready to get beatings from Jeevika, i'm sure my beatings will help u not to repeat this mistake in the future😆 After a minute or two, she heard the sound of Viren unlocking the door. She ran to the hall. Viren locked the door , entered inside, oblivious to the fact that she was standing there. Jeevika got irritated with his behaviour, she blocked his way, Jeevika: Hello Mr. , ur late i mean ''so late'' today nd ur trying to get away without providing any clarification to me, is this ur manners.
Viren:[not in a mood to answer her questions] Jeevika, it's not the time to play around! Just leave me alone, i'm totally devastated after a tiring schedule today.
Jeevika: Excuse me, i too had come from a hectic work, but i always tend to call u nd inform u, whenever i get late, but u... do u know how long i had tried to call u in ur phone nd can u understand the fears nd the tensions i suffered till this moment?
Viren gave a malicious look to her, nd went to his office room. Jeevika was totally puzzled with his eccentric behaviour today. Seeing his face, she sensed some tension goin around in his mind, nd she was aware of the fact that he wasn't in a good mood today. Over the top, she was hell hungry, cz the moment she reached home, she was waiting for Viren to come nd haven't ate even a single bit of food. She gained courage to go to office room. She knocked on the door.
Jeevika: [pretended to make a serious face]Humare pyaare pathi dev, agar aapke kaam khatam hogayi toh, aap zara mere saath khana kaogi?
Viren grimaced at her cz she hardly uses such languages, nd that too ''Pathi dev'' was pretty hard for him to digest.
Viren: [busy working in his laptop] No, I already had dinner from the office, u better have food nd sleep, it's gettin late u have work tomorrow.
Jeevika: [jaw-dropped] What? I mean what u mean by u already ate huh? I mean here I haven't...
Viren: [interuppted her] Jeevika, look i'm not in a mood to play T nd J with u , so u better get going.
She glared at him nd turned around nd marched towards the bedroom. She sat on the bed, holding the pillow close to her chest.
''How dare he behave like that to me, I 'm his wife right, i have the right to ask abt his problem, but he finds it ''silly'' to discuss it with me, Mummy ki kasam, i'm not gonna talk to that looser, oops he's my husband... show respect... [cleared her throat] I'm not gonna talk to him anymore. Today onwards, i'm under ''moun vrat''. Let's see who's gonna talk fast.''
A minute later, Viren entered the room, the moment she saw him, she averted angrily, nd enclosed herself into the blanket. Viren, being ignorant to her silly antics, went beside her, arranged his pillow, switched off the light nd went to sleep. Jeevika peeped out from her blanket nd was totally irritated with him. She threw the blanket away from her, nd turned to other side [Viren sleeping on left end nd Jeevika on the right]😛 A moment later both of them turned to opposite side unconsiously, facing each other. Jeevika was sleeping, but Viren got conscious nd opened his eyes. He smiled at the innocent beauty who was lost in the world of sleep. After the daily session of his gaze, he touched her right cheek nd mumbled ''sorry''. She was unconsious nd was nt aware of the happenings. He caressed her face, finally his touch made her wake up from her sleep. She too smiled at him, nd touched his hand. He came closer to her nd draped his arm, across her waist.
''Biwi, i have something to enquire?''
Jeevika: [still smiling] Go on...
Viren: As far as i know, we had a great wall between us, but ab dekho, it has vanished [teasing] Now, where do u think, it might've disappeared?
Jeevika: [understanding his intentions] Mmm... I don't know, do u want me to investigate? Ok thn, investigate kar ke, report zaroor dungi!😛
She was abt to wake up from bed, but Viren pulled her close, she was on top of him.
Jeevika: What the hell Viren, leave me!
Viren: Only if u answer my question.
Jeevika: Ahaan, it's my wish whether to answer or not answer! [averted her eyes]
Viren: So u won't answer my question?
Jeevika: Ofcourse not.
Viren: Mummy Promise.
Jeevika: Nahi... Daddy promise [sulked her tongue]😆
Viren: Thn u surely have to suffer the consequences...
This time, he rolled on top of her, she got scared.
Viren: Yeh lo , tumhari saaza!
Jeevika tried to move back, but Viren, held her by her waist so tightly, blocked her hands, nd gave a long-lasting kiss on her lips. She tried to react, but eventually responded when she had no choice. Finally, he let her go , nd breathed heavily.
Jeevika: U crazy, how dare u do like that to me?
She woke up from the bed.
Jeevika: What do u think abt yOURSELF? U can do whatever u want, yesterday u were nt interested to talk with me and now ur romancing with me. What do u think abt me? Am i ur slave so that u can do whatever u want to me. U know how irritated nd heart-broken i was when u neglected me, for ur stupid work... u'll never understand my feelings, cz u never had the chance to feel that...
[Like this, she kept on rattling her problem]
Viren: [interjucted her] Jeevika, that's it! You had enough.
Jeevika: What do u mean by ''enough''? Do u know how much pain i had undergone, within that 1 hour u were missing! U can't understand it, nd u'll never .
Viren:[temper raising] Oh ya, do u think ur the only one who underwent with that feeling?
Jeevika: oh come on... ur finding fault with me, nd why the hell were u late yesterday? I was sure u're stressed, i understood there's something bothering u, but u don't feel to share it with me? Nd u call me ur wife! How come u ignore me?
Viren: [scowled] Me ignore u? Ya right, what were u doing with me for the past two months... ur the one who ignored me right!
Jeevika was taken aback: Main... main toh...
Viren: Oh come on, don't just try to hide it! [came front] U were the one who ignored me at the time of marriage, u said that u need time to accept me as ur husband rite? Didn't u ... tell me Jeevika?
Jeevika: [went backwards] Ya, but now...
Viren: To hell with ''now''. Do u know how much pain I undergone? But still i've decided to go by ur decision. I know that marriage wasn't ur priority, but u'll have to face what comes to u. Its me who adjusted, just for ur happiness, or ur selfishness.
Jeevika: But Viren I didn't understand u personally...nd i've admitted my mistake on neglecting u.
Viren: Ok, but who said i felt bad when u said u need time, I just felt angry when u said i never underwent the pain, u had. Do u know how many times, i felt sad, when u cried thinking about ur mother. nd how many times i've stood by ur side. I know it's pointless, discussing this now.. But do u know, why the hell i've supported u till the end? [he came more closer]
Jeevika: [blocked by the wall] Err... why?
Viren: Because I love u, i don't know how many times, i've repeated this, but this is the fact, the moment i saw u, i was sure that ur the only one who'll be my life partner. After marrying u, i felt every sorrows u had, is mine nd ur happiness is my happiness. I always loved ur silly, behaviour. I yearned to be with u, always I don't feel to leave u. I'm sorry if ur feeling offended, but i have no way around. Ur presence... i just can't resist doing this... I'm that attracted u...
Jeevika:[tears rolling down from her cheek] I'm sorry Viren , sorry for tormenting u all the while, i know it's my silly mistake not to understand how fortunate i'm to have a husband like u. I was selfish, even now, instead of trying to console u, i'm finding fault with u. It's all ur mistake!
Viren: [ ] Oh god, not again... Now what did i do?😆
Jeevika: Ahaan, u didn't point out my weak points, i mean whenever i irritated or behaved silly , u never complained about that. If u would've pointed it out, i'm sure I must've rectified my childishness... U dumb, it's ur mistake... [she started hitting his chest]
Viren: Jeevika, ouch! Stop it!
Jeevika: No.. I won't... Instead of helping me, solve my weak points, u were enjoying my ''monkey' play. How dare u do that? U enjoy when I get idiotic, Don't you? [again hits him]
Viren: That's it!
[He held both her arms strongly, pinned her to the wall, smirked at her.]
Viren: This medicine will surely help u cure ur disease nd next time u won't even dare touch me, after taking this dose! I enjoy ur silliness cz that makes u innocent.
Jeevika looked at him puzzled.
He cupped her face, nd kissed her passionately.He drew her closer, she felt her heart pounding. He wasn't ready to let her go. Jeevika closed her eyes shockingly. After a moment, she realised the promise she made to herself. She pushed him backwards, nd ran to the kitchen.
Viren: Mere Pyaari wife toh blushy blushy hogayi😛
Days went by, Jeevika tried her level best to enquire Viren about his problem, But he changed topics, this totally irritated Jeevika. Now onwards, she decided not to talk with him, at any cost. She decided to talk with him, only if he had the mind to discuss his problem. Viren too was totally busy with his work, nd hebecame just like a haggard within two three days!
That evening, she received a call. It was Vanshika...
J: Maa, how are u ? Long time... Sab theek hai na?
V: Haan, bas tumhari kammi hai?
J: [smiled] Virat kaise hai?
V: Busy with his guitar. And ya, he's havin a recording in Delhi, so he'll be there soon.
J: Wow, that gr8... Maan... [realised , nd stopped]
V: Sorry?
J: Nothin mom. Actually mom, i want to tell u something.
V: Ur free to discuss anything with me!
J: Ur son , Mr.Workaholic, is behaving rudely to me?
V: Did he do like that? Nice time, he comes here I'll beat him with chappathi stick!😉
J: I'm serious... There's something that's goin around, but he doesn't wish to discuss with me.
V: I guess it might be related to his business. And Viren 's behaviour is unique, he swifts mood very easily. And his speciality is that , he doesn't want to discuss his problems with others, no matter how close u're, he thinks, discussing problem would make others sad, nd it's a waste of time.
J: Oh, so that's y , he's not ready to share his problems. But u see Mom, how I'm gonna make him splutter out!
V: U better be careful, cz he gets impatient nd bursts out at times... But if ur planning relax him, thn music will be a great idea, it's a stress-releaser to him. He finds happy, when he sings, or plays guitar.
J: That's a great idea. Thanku Mom! Take care, will call u later.
V: Bye!
Morning... Viren was lost in his work, Jeevika peeped through the door knob.
Jeevika: Why the hell is he always with the laptop, as if he married it! NO... Jeevika, u'll never let it happen.
She wasn't knowing how to start the convo, cz for the past 1 week, they never talked with each other , only formal talks. She got an idea. She went to the kitchen, dropped the steel glass, so that she can catch his attention, but still he remained oblivious...
She got fed up and went to his room. She stood beside him.
Jeevika: Kya aap kaam kar rahe ho?
Viren: [irritated] Nahi.. machar ko pakad ne ki koshish kar rahe ho😆 Obviously I'm working.
Jeevika: [muttered] What a low-grade joke? [spoke] Can i sit here?
Viren: No... Jeevika, u don;t have to be this formal!
Jeevika: Tell me ur problem...
Viren: It's related to my work, Ok...
Jeevika: But ... ok just chuck it... Mom said u have a great voice... can u sing?
Viren: Right now?
Jeevika: Mere liye.. please...
Viren: No...
Jeevika: Please...
Viren: No, u better go!
Jeevika: I'll leave only if u sing...
Viren: I'm not gonna sing.
Jeevika: [took his laptop away from him] U have two choices left, 1. Tell me ur problem. 2. Sing a song.
Viren: [Angry] U better give me the laptop...
Jeevika: [stood up] No... NO... No...
He ran behind her, accidently, she turned off the laptop, he was raged with anger, cz he was doing an important assignment in his laptop, nd she destroyed it! He pressed her arms tightly...
Viren: [shouted] What the hell Jeevika? U know what, u just ruined my whole work, it's based on this work, the stability of my company lies, u just ruined it! All thanks to u, i can close down my firm, nd sing on the streets, is that ok with u?
Jeevika: Ur hurting me?
Viren: U know what, my company is in a great loss for the past few weeks, me nd my staffmates r really trying hard to sort it out, nd ur not trying to understand! What do u want Jeevika? Do u want me to sing, at the time of this crisis? Tell me...
Jeevika: If u would've told me thn...
Viren: Oh please, just stop ur excuses, I enjoy ur joyful, bubbly behaviour, but that doesn't mean u could just trouble nd irritate me? NoW what will u understand? Get lost...
[He let her go, pushed her so hardly that her hand hit the drwer so hard, she got bruises. She started crying .]
Jeevika: I know u find me irritating, if u don't want my presence, just tell that and i'm ready to go from ur life!
She weeped nd went to her room.
Viren was shocked: [himself]Jee... vika... I know ur hurt, but I don't have other way. round. Let her take it as a silly fight that happenes b/w hus nd wife!

Oh god, my days r gettin really hard.
Next week revisions will come to an end...
Soon after that , models will start,
I'm not havin any breaks...
So not sure, whether i'll be able to give u an update on next friday!
Even if i'm updating u, it'll be the last update... nd i'll able to update only after two months... but still i'll try to update if i have time. I know this update is boring, ''sorry''
