Chapter:2

The sun rised nd its 8:30am, its considered to be the ''late wake up tym'' for Vadhera's. But they've decided to ignore this completely cz it was Virika's first night nd they thought its not good to impose rules on them as they r newly wedded couples. Viren stays in Chandigarh only for weeks cz he is settled in Delhi so he is unaware about such rules. 9am Virika still sleeping. The whole members gathered outside their room thinking abt why they r still asleep

Kadambari: Hainee why is this Viren nd Jeevika still asleep. Didnt they keep their alarm.

Inder: They mustve sleep late.

Vanshika: But they went to the room early...

[The rest of the family gave an embarrased look to Vanshika. Finally Swamini knocked on their door.]

Jeevika: [threw the blanket] Oh god who the hell is knocking??

Vanshika: Jeevika beta its time... wake up...

Jeevika: [jumpes from the bed] OH geez, its 9am nd im still asleep... Its my first day in this house nd i forgot to wake up early. Jeevika, why the hell ru so childish??

[She went towards Viren who was lost in a wonderful sleep]

Jeevika: Viren, wake up...

Viren: [sleepy voice]Maa... please let me sleep... atleast for 5 mins

Jeevika: Maa???😲😲

Viren: Say 3 mins, 2 mins ok 1 min... please Maa...

Jeevika: [gets frustrated throws the pillow on his face] Maa hoga tera...

Viren: [shocked] Jeevika, why ru throwing pillows at me, u consider me as ur frnd but that doesnt mean u can take advantage of it...

Jeevika: [bored] Please stop ur lecture, do u know what the time is?? its 9...

Viren: Oh no... [runs to open the door but he was stopped by Jeevika]

Jeevika: Where ru running?

Viren: [confused] Obviously to the bathroom... Would u like to join?😛

Jeevika: Y right very funny... but before that, i need to give u some instructions...

[Viren looked at her dazed, she cupped his face nd sticked her forehead to his..to apply her sindoor on his forehead... nd messed up his hair.. she kept his bedsheet under the blanket. ]

Viren: Are u trying to romance with me?

Jeevika: im not that kind of a daft... We r friends only in our perspective but in the outside world we r husband nd wife... i did all this sorts so that they dont get doubt on us...

Viren: U said u hate marriage but u have gr8 knowledge in all these stuffs... How come?

Jeevika: Ive seen in movies

[They opened the door... Jeevika looked at everyone giving a blushed look whereas Viren yawning, raised his hands went to the washroom...]

Seema; Lagtha hai jo Ishaqzaade mein hua hai uss se zyaada inn dono ne kiya hoga!!!

Jeevika wore a blue colour salwar... She was making the bed clean, suddenly Viren entered the room wearin a towel around his waist...

Jeevika: [busy arranging everything didnt notice him] Viren, today itself we'll have to leave cz tomorrow my leave will get over... Viren said ''yes'' nd walked to take his shirt from the cupboard, meanwhile jeevika too turned nd walked in the opposite direction. Both came face to face... They bumped into each other... Both shared a passionate eyelock... Jeevika could feel some kind of heat running through her body eventhough she consider him just as her friend, she felt some kind of attraction maybe because of seeing his sexy body..standing close to Viren who was shirtless...Jeevika took off her hand from his chest.. Viren wasnt able to stop glancing at her beauty.. Both decided to walk away but moved in same direction nd was again faced by the same situation... Finally Viren got a solution. He touched her waist... which resulted in Jeevika's heart beating faster, moved her to the side nd walked near the cupboard...

Viren: Is that ok?

Jeevika: [unsual blush] Ya... thnxx..

Everyone gathered in the dining room...

Jeevika: Namste dadaji...

Dadaji: Namaste bahu, i just want to remind both of u that we wake up early at 7 do puja nd thn we gather in the dining hall at 8... Viren is aware of this but he tends to forget all this... This schedule is strictly followed by everyone so u too has to follow it..

Jeevika: Sorry Dadaji... Virenji never told me about this... But i'll keep it in mind next tym.

Viren looked at her shockingly hearing her using the word ''ji'' along with his name

Vanshika: jeevika beta, as its ur first day in this house we want u to make something sweet dish...

Jeevika was completely out of the world hearing this as ''cooking'' is not her cup of tea...

K.Chachi: What ru planning to make for us Jeevika?

Jeevika: [stammering] Mm... C.cc.. Carrot Halwa...

Swamini Bua: Ok fyn there's the kitchen, we wont help u because it'll against the rasam..

Jeevika looked at Viren... Viren gave a helpless expression... She went to the kitchen unwillingly. Viren decided to join her but was stopped by Inder...

Inder: Viren, rules is rules... u cant help her today, she has to prepare the dish all by herself...

Chachi: haan Viren, let's see ur wife's cooking skill...

Viren: [muttered] If ur planning to test her cooking skill, then u'll only have tym to sit in the bathroom...

Dadaji: Did u tell something Viren...

Viren: No Dadaji...

[In the kitchen]

Jeevika was thinking what to do... She took the carrot nd started to cut it...

Jeevika : [to herself] i'll have to do something before i make a fool out of myself...

She got a solid idea... She took the knife nd slightly cut her right finger nd screamed loudly... Everyone ran to the kitchen hearing an unsual noise...

Vanshika: Jeevika beta, what happened?

[they saw her right finger bleeding]

Viren: [touched her hands] jeevika, how careless ur? Atleast be careful while cutting vegetables... [he took her to the pipe nd washed the blood stains.. Jeevika controlled the pain nd was shocked to see the care nd concern coming out from her ''so called friend wala husband''😉

Swamini: why were u in such a haste Jeevika?

Jeevika: Buaji, actually its gettin late, so i was panicking nd in a rush to complete everything... because of that...

Chachi: Take some rest Jeevika...

Jeevika; but i coudnt prepare the food, how careless nd irresponsible ive been?

Dadaji: Thank god that nothing bad happened to ur finger... Viren take her to the room...

Both of them left...

Chachi: Dekh how viren was so concern abt Jeevika, u never reacted like that when something like this happened to me?

Inder: i havent got the chance because u never came to the kitchen

Chachi: YA very funny😆

In Virika's room...

Jeevika: thank god, if i wouldnt've thought abt that idea then i would really been in trouble..

Viren: So u purposely...

Jeevika: Ya, its all part of my plan...

Viren: [miffed,pressed her arms] How could u do that Jeevika, why ru acting childish? what if anything bad happen to ur finger... use our brain, u silly...

Jeevika: Why ru over-reacting for such a silly thing?

Viren: U call this ''silly thing''. its all ur childish ness

Jeevika: Ur blaming me?? I now understood that ur just like other husbands.. My mom was right, husbands r friendly just for one day nd then...

Viren: Stop ur nonsense Jeevika

Vanshika: Viren, Jeevika why ru guys fighting??

Both of them flabbergasted to see Vanshika at this moment...

Vanshika: I just came to give this saree to u but was shocked to see the fight between u..

Viren: Fighting?? no way i was just trying to make jeevika understand abt her careless act. Right Jeevika...

Jeevika: [fake smile] Ya ofcourse...

Vanshika: But im nt convinced...

Viren: Eventhough we r hus nd wife we behave like good friends ...

[He went near Jeevika, hugged nd gave a sweet kiss on her cheek... It was their first kiss, jeevika looked at him completely dumbstruck nd irritated...]

Viren; sorry sweatheart...

Jeevika; [irritated] ya! its ok... Maa.. actually we r leaving today itself..

Viren: yes mom its jeevika's joining date tomorrow nd im havin an imp meeting too..

Vanshika: U just stayed here one day, nd ur leaving so early..

Jeevika: Dont worry Maa... we'll come here soon nd will miss u alot Maa...

[Both shared a hug]

Viren: [whispered] First day itself u made her under ur control...

Jeevika bet on his hand... Vanshika went out...

Jeevika: [continously bet him] U freak? How dare u kiss me? Ru planning to be my husband... No way im gonna allow u...

Viren: Oh come on dude... was just acting...

Jeevika: [packed her bags] Whatever.. Im still not convinced...

Viren: Sorry, wont repeat it again... please forgive ur friend...
