Hellos people,

Welcome back to the journey to the PrAja land. Here's the new update... Enjoy!

Coincidentally Yours!

Part 17 - Cappuccino!

He would confess, he was not aware of all these eateries, that were shine of the very area. Pratap preferred simple and healthy food but he did not mind to accompany her, as she tried almost every food varieties, even on the street ones, from chats to golgappas or whatever around Chandni Chowk, with Chaks.

Not being a great foodie or being more diet conscious, Pratap could not understand why he himself joined them everywhere... Did he want to keep her away from Chaks or he started liking her company or he could not stay away from her himself, was still unthought.

He had to struggle maintaining his health and diet, from all those chatpata khana, whereas his parents managed with ease. Wherever some new dish they would try, Ajabde would take some parcels for his parents without fail. Though he at first thought, his parents would not want to try those or would not be comfortable with the idea but she offered with such genuine sweetness, nobody could refuse.

Pratap sighed as Ranaji cherished that special rabdi jalebi from some old shop of town side but soon joined Ranimaa smiling, as she took a bite of jalebi from Ajabde's hand.

'Yeh ladki sab ko bigad degi...' He chuckled at himself surprised.

Well, this girl would definitely spoil the ideas of health and discipline of Ranimaa and his, as Ranaji enjoyed having cheat meals often with her. As mornings grew more pleasant and days filled with more happiness, surprisingly Ranimaa didn't mind it, so did he!

"Baujiraj, yeh aapka dost aaj bhi Maths mein weak hai kya?" Bhagya had a mini laugh as Chaks scratched back of his head.

Pratap joined Chakri and Bhagya over Cappuccino as she was having fun pulling Chak's leg.

"Ek simple stock taking mein itna time kaun lagata hai..." She chuckled again, looking at Pratap to join but he gave her weak, lost smile. He lokked a little restless. His eyes ran through the entire canteen, checking here and there as if finding someone.

"She's not here" Chaks shut the laptop, picking up his coffee.

"Hein" Pratap got caught off guard as Chakri shrugged

"Ajabde?" Chakri said with a serious face "She's not here"

"Why would I look out for her?" He laughed, trying to look least bothered about her absence, which clearly was not the case, as Chakri and Bhagya shared a knowing glance.

"She had some meeting with Sir and Rawatji, then would have a tour of the premises, then departmental visits, then may be she would visit her favourite Masala chaay or..." Bhagya winked, making Pratap huff, looking away.

"Are they all on some picnic or what?" Pratap chuckled trying to sound normal. Usually Chaks would accompany her over chaay or something, but today he was actually busy and so was she.

Pratap fake smiled but sighed taking chair as he stared his Cappuccino. He took a sip making a face "Kadvi hai" making the other two stare at him. Isn't cappuccino is supposed to be lot sweeter than espresso, that he usually had?

Had the drink gotten bitter or her absence made it feel so!?

After all these days and having her around almost all the time, he was not sure, what bothered him more, her preferring that thele wali chaay or not having her by his side!

(To be continued...)

Of course the coffee is bitter today. Someone is missing to sweeten the deal for him.
