It took a little too long as I was stuck up unexpectedly. So the next part has knocked on the way. It's been so long... Yeah? Remember? Who's she?...

Part 7 - So long!

Pratap nudged Chakri when Ajabde shook hand smiling as both the girls connected in an instant.

"Do you remember her?" Chakri asked in a lost tone.

"Her?" Pratap raised eyebrow looking at Ajabde.

Tracing her eyes looking at the other girl, Chakri hushed "Arre, this S&D head... Bhagya?" He explained unsure.

As Pratap shook head, Chakri stared at him in disbelief.

"She's the same girl, who bullied me in school, all the time." He said a little blushing.

Pratap mocked him back in disbelief "The only person, you let to bully you, who also happened to be a girl?" Pratap suppressed laugh, as the girls looked at them.

Right from the beginning, Pratap never gave much attention to anything other than his goals. Specially he maintained distance with girls as they always gossiped, got offended every now and then and were distracters. But Bhagya managed to earn his attention, as in the entire school, she was different. She understood this weird duo, who lived among themselves and studied with them. The most important part, She with Pratap, loved to irritate Chakri.

"Pratap Singh" Before Rawatji could say anything more, she stepped forward, shaking his hand "Hey, long time no see" Bhagya smiled at Pratap at which he nodded smiling "So long"

An amused look covered his face, as she turned to Chakri.

"It's been years... glad to see, you two are still together" She remembered Chakri as a friend - enemy, before she changed school "Still the same!?" She asked with a mischievous small grin.

"Yeah... Still the same" Chakri tried to get cautious but apparently failed as "But you've grown beautiful" he blurted out.

Bhagya smiled surprised, as Pratap coughed a little, smile curving up his face too. Ajabde looked at his minimal shy smile, that tried to peep on the face of a little arrogant, little ignorant guy.

"You guys know each other?"

Ajabde popped up with excitement as Bhagya carried her forward, telling how they were once childhood friends but lost contact.

As the girls exchanged how they reached here to what they like, the specialities, their plans and all, boys were confusingly silent.

Rawatji brought them to an unused cabin, whose existence was not much known, not even to them. A task was allotted to all the four youngsters, as Rawatji had everything planned out. After a brief discussion, they dispersed to execute task in their routine.

Ajabde was quick enough to learn what she had to do and what was she expected to do. She was a fast learner to begin with. Her happy-go-lucky nature and talkative self got the office atmosphere lighten up.

Pratap came to his father as they were leaving for the day.

"Ajabde"

Ranaji stopped, turning to her, as Pratap almost left the cabin.

"Where would you go?" It was then Pratap got to know, she was not from Delhi itself.

"Sir, I checked in to a hotel yesterday. I'll get back there" she answered wondering at the question.

"Arre... No no no." He swallowed looking at Pratap "You will come with us"

"Why will I come with you?"

"Why will she come with us?"

Ajabde and Pratap frowned, asking in unison, looking at each other.

"Jinxed" Ranaji gushed making them turn to him in unison.

He alone chuckled but when they both stared at him for an answer, he told Ajabde in low voice

"Or else my dearest wife will scold me, which won't be good. She'll get upset and won't give me my favorite ice cream in desert too" he sighed.

Oh, come on!

"Dajiraj, for an ice cream?" Pratap asked amused, knowing very well his father had sugar, and was on a strict diet. Before he can think, why his mother will get upset, his father asked in a high pitch tone

"Did I mention ice cream?" He turned to Pratap, gulping

"Na na... Mujhe tumhaari Ranima ki daant nahi khani"

"Haan haan" Pratap chuckled, "I'll get you an ice cream" dismissing the idea of getting her along to home, he started to leave.

"Chalo" Ranaji ordered Ajabde, leaving the cabin

"But sir" Ajabde started

"No more arguments" Udai Singhji passed Pratap and declared with authority

"Ajabde you are coming with us" she zipped her lips looking at his stance

"And Pratap give my driver her hotel's address, ask him to bring her luggage home"

Pratap frowned, making face at her in mind. He had to follow his father's order, despite his much disagreement.

First she occupied his mind and thoughts, the day she entered his town and visited their office on that rainy day. And now she would occupy a place in his home too.
