The following day, Moloy and Mohini have their breakfast. Mohini constantly stared at Moloy.

Moloy: What is wrong with you? Why are you giving me a fierce look? Did I bite something bitter?

Mohini: Put some black color in your life.

Moloy: Where?

Mohini: On your hair.

Moloy: Even if I color my hair, my youth days aren't going to come back. If you want, I will make my face black.

Mohini: No one can argue with you.

Moloy: Then don't argue with me, especially while eating.

Simar: Madam Mohini's words have a lot of truth.

Moloy: Do you even know what is the truth?

Simar winked at Moloy.

Simar: I decided to go to America as the last semester is over. There's no life, romance, or adventure here, right, Madam Mohini?

Mohini: Yes, you are right.

Simar: Mom, are you happy with my decision?

Kashish: Of course. My happiness lies in yours.

Simar: Okay, I will do the packing.

Simar went to her room & cried, lying on her cot. Moloy comes near her room and doesn't fail to notice it.

Moloy: You talked so well in the dining hall, but why are you crying here?

Simar: I will be missing all of you.

Moloy: In that case, you could have cried and hugged before leaving.

Simar doesn't say anything.

Moloy: Fine, tell me one thing. How did you change your opinion about the country overnight?

Simar: My eyes opened.

Moloy: Your eyes opened so quickly. Here, everyone still has closed eyes. Are you hiding something?

Simar: What have I got to hide from you?

Moloy: Then how did you talk about America suddenly? Have you ever thought what would happen to an older man living like a prisoner in this house? I am only living here by looking at you. I always see a support system and solace in you when I see you. Now, I feel that even that is getting snatched from me. Anyway, I think it is my fate and not my control. But remember the words of your grandpa. You can come back from America, but there is no guarantee of my survival till that time. I might go so far that it would be impossible for me to return. So whatever you decide, please rethink.

Moloy leaves. Simar cries.

The next moment, Kashish conducts a farewell party for Simar, inviting everyone. Moloy goes to Sujal's office to see the progress the company made.

The manager said, "The company is doing well after the new management took over. The workers are getting a timely appraisal and are happy."

The guests came and met Mohini. They said, "You maintained yourself so well that you don't look like a granny."

Mohini: Thanks.

Prem and Karan also come to the party.

Simar: Welcome, I was expecting you. Since I'm leaving, Mom arranged the party out of her happiness.

Prem: Even you look happy.

Simar: I'm happy as I have a bright future there.

Prem: All the best. I think you are missing something.

He gives the missing earring to Simar.

Prem sees Simar and Kashish hugging and following her. Simar moves forward, but Prem holds her hand. Simar frees herself and moves forward. All the others try to stop her, but Simar goes to her room, which does not go unnoticed by Moloy.

Moloy goes to Sujal's house the next day and rings the doorbell. Sujal opens the door and is surprised to see his father-in-law.

Sujal: Dad, what a pleasant surprise!

Moloy: Thank God you remembered me. It seems that you are worried and troubled.

Sujal: Our meeting always happens in times of trouble.

Moloy: My fate is like that. The troubles reach that place before I get there.

Sujal: I'm unable to understand. I used to understand before.

Moloy: You have spent a long life at your wish & will, but I don't have any life remaining with me.

Sujal: What is it that you want to explain to me?

Moloy: When a person has the maturity to understand, what more can I make them understand?

Sujal: What is remaining to understand life? There are some broken threads and some incomplete real stories.

Moloy: Wasn't it your responsibility to complete those real stories? You left Kashish and didn't even bother to turn back to her.

Sujal: Who stopped her from coming to me? There was no lifeline for her to cross the doorstep. I always turned behind with the hope that she would come. But she didn't come. I moved very far eventually.

Moloy: You went so far that you didn't even know she was carrying. Kashish might have come with you if she hadn't fainted. Whatever wrong happened to you was understandable, but you could have paused your steps before moving. Kashish needed you the most at that time. She always remembered you during her pregnancy.

Sujal was shocked.

Moloy continues: You don't have one daughter but are the father of two girls. Simar is your daughter besides Preeta.

Sujal: Simar is Kashish's daughter? She is my daughter?

Moloy: Yes, Simar is your daughter. She is that daughter who didn't look at your face after she came into this world. She was devoid of fatherly love. She lived with an image of the broken marriage of her parents, which is colorless. And now, when she is experiencing some color in her love life, she is leaving. America is just an excuse. But she wants to go so far, never to return. After all, she is your daughter, and children follow in their parent's footsteps.

Sujal: I've made an enormous blunder. If I had known Simar was my daughter, I wouldn't have told her to sacrifice her love for Preeta.

Moloy: Go fast. There's no time for remorse.

He gets into the car and meets Simar.

Sujal: Won't you spend time with me before you leave?

Sujal and Simar get into the car and take her to a small house.

Both hug each other. Sujal leaves and goes to Preeta.

The next day

Sujal is reading newspapers and sitting in the chair before the table.

Preeta came there & said, "Hi, Dad."

Sujal sees Preeta happy and is surprised.

Preeta: You are shocked, as if someone else called you dad. I feel you are hiding something from me.

Sujal: Nothing like that.

Preeta: Your eyes are saying something else. You had not even come home the last night.

Sujal: Fine, I'll close my eyes.

Preeta: Closing eyes will not hide the truth. I remember the days of catching you when you hid. I know that you are in a dilemma. You have not eaten anything and were not seen anywhere in the house. What is the thing that you cannot tell me?

He gave another box to Simar. She opens the box and takes out the dress.

Simar: Wow, it's beautiful. However, I've never worn a shalwar suit in my life.

Sujal: Wear it and see. You will look beautiful in that dress. Of course, you look gorgeous in the clothing that you are wearing, but you will look like an Indian in a shalwar suit. Think Indian, Buy Indian...

Simar: Talk Indian, Wear Indian, and Love Indian.

Sujal: That's my girl.

Sujal went to the beach. He saw Prem writing Simar's name on the sand.
