THE NEXT DAY

Simar plays badminton in her college. Sujal came to the badminton court. Simar gets distracted seeing Sujal & misses the shuttle cock.

Simar picks up the shuttle & plays again.

Sujal smiles, seeing them playing.

Sujal: You play badminton very well.

Simar: Thanks.

Sujal: Even though I love to play badminton, I only play with my daughter. The problem is that she won't play again.

Simar: Why?

Sujal: Because of the racket she wants to play, it is with the other girl.

Simar: Then buy the other one for her.

Sujal: She won't play with another racket.

Simar: Did you ask her?

Sujal: No, I didn't. I don't know whether she will agree or not.

Simar: Ask the other girl.

Sujal: That's what I'm doing.

Simar turns towards Sujal.

Sujal: I am Preeta's unfortunate father. Only you can save her by leaving Prem for her.

Simar: Sir, life is neither a badminton court nor Prem, the racket I would give to the person who asks for it.

Sujal: I'm helpless for my child.

Simar: I am helpless for my love.

Sujal: If Preeta doesn't get Prem, she will take an extreme step. She will commit suicide.

Simar: And if I lose Prem, I will commit suicide.

Sujal: If anything happens to Preeta, I will break down. I beg you of my daughter's life. I'm requesting you as a helpless father.

Simar: You are a very selfish father. You are so blind to her love that you cannot look at anything beyond that. You are asking for others' lives to save your daughter's life. Suppose Prem loved Preeta, and if I came to you and told you to snatch Prem from her and give me, would you do that?

Sujal gets speechless.

Simar: I'm sympathetic towards you, but Prem is mine and will remain mine forever.

Simar goes to her house and goes to Moloy.

Simar: Grandpa, I want to talk to you.

Moloy: Sure.

Simar: May I ask you one question?

Moloy: You can ask what you want.

Simar: Is it necessary for a child to have a father?

Moloy thought awhile and said, "Yes, a child needs a mother and father. The earth needs the sky, and humans need a solid surface where they can put their legs. In the same way, children need a father.

Simar: Today, I saw a father begging for his daughter's life.

Moloy: That's the specialty of a child, which makes a father beg for their lives, regardless of their financial status.

Simar: Then why wasn't my father like that? Why did he leave me in my childhood? Why did he leave my mom? Please tell me, Grandpa.

Moloy: That's all crap and a symbol of rumor.

Simar: Isn't it true that he left us for the greed of money?

Moloy gets shocked.

Simar continues: Is it not true that he was a drunkard and a womanizer? He was more inclined to the world's glamor than the family.

Moloy: No, my child, it isn't true. Your father is a good and decent person. He was not among the ones to leave his family but was a family-oriented person.

Simar: Since you said my dad is a perfect gentleman, it means he's alive. Is my dad alive?

Moloy tries to avoid the question.

Simar: Grandpa, you have got my swear; you must tell me everything as I have every right to know about my parents.

Moloy: I will tell, but you must promise me one thing. You won't utter a word about it to anyone.

Simar: I promise you that I won't tell anyone.

Moloy: My girl, your father was my son-in-law, but he was more than a son to me. He always stood by others in trouble, not for himself, but for others. He always stood up for the workers. That's the reason why people have erased his name in the family. I still have his belongings with me, including his photograph.

Moloy took his wallet out of his pocket and showed his picture. Simar is shocked to learn the one who begged for Preeta's life is none other than her father. She recollects the incidents that took place near the badminton court.

Moloy: He is my son, son-in-law, and your father.

Flashback.

The story of Sujal and Kashish begins with a song.

Rajeev and Aamna from the serial 'Sunn Leyna' | True feelings quotes, Feelings quotes, True feelings

Sujal & Kashish go out for boating & have a quality time. Both admire each other apart from the scenery. They invite all workers for a recreation trip.

Kashish delivered Preeta and cared for her while Sujal came out from work.

Preeta: Mom, where is Dad?

Kashish: Dad will come and play with us. In the meantime, finish your ice cream.

Sujal comes to Kashish.

Kashish: Do you think the management will fulfill your needs by striking at the workplace?

Sujal: Have you called me to tell me this?

Kashish: Why did you get drenched in the rain?

Sujal: My dear legally-wedded wife, they will get drenched when someone stands in the rain.

Kashish: That's what I said. If you want to raise your voice, why don't you do that inside the office? What if you fall sick getting wet in the rain?

Sujal: You will make me mad. I told you many times that it is a part of my job.

Kashish: I understand everything. Why do you always ask, understood as if you are the only intelligent person on earth?

Sujal: Sorry, mam. Shall I leave now?

Interview with Rajeev-Aamna | India Forums

Kashish gives the towel to wipe his head. She said, "Shall I speak to Mom?"

Preeta cries. Sujal leaves.

Kashish: Please don't get drenched in the rain.

Kashish went to her and said, "Oh my child, you are my brilliant daughter. Why do you cry?

Kashish decided to talk to Mohini.

The next day, Mohini came to their house.

Mohini: It's nice that you care a lot for each other.

Kashish: It seems that you are pleased.

Mohini: Yes, I am. I decided to meet the demands of the workers.

Sujal: How did you change so much overnight?

Mohini: I don't have anyone besides both of you. My happiness lies in the happiness of you guys. Sujal, here is the paper that you must sign to complete the formalities of meeting the workers' demands.

She took out the paper and gave it to sign.

Sujal reads the first page and signs.

He said, "You changed a lot."

Mohini: You must also sign other papers.

Mohini hurries, as a result of which Sujal has to sign the papers without reading the clause.

The next day, the workers protest against Mohini. The latter came by car and said, "Your needs are met. Here is the paper."

The men took the paper and read the content. They said, "It is a deceit. You have made a fool of us."

Mohini: After signing the papers, it is illegal to strike. You can deal with your union leader in this regard.

The angry workers protest against Sujal. The latter comes to the office.

The cops said, "You shouldn't enter there as the workers are annoyed.

Sujal: I need to go inside.

As he entered inside, the workers started pelting stones at him.

Meanwhile, Kashish senses something would go wrong. She said, "Mom, I feel that something fishy."

Mohini: The bad days are gone. Now, you will only see the good days.

Kashish: I didn't get you.

Mohini: If you had understood, you wouldn't have married Sujal.

Sujal entered the house and said, "You couldn't stop our marriage, so you want to get us divorced, right?"

Kashish came forward and asked, "How did you get hurt?"

Sujal: Will you tell Kashish how I got hurt?

Mohini: As you sow, sow you reap.

Sujal: Kashish, your mom hates me.

Mohini: And you hate me as well.

Sujal went near the child and said, "That's why there can be no relationship between us."

He took the child and said, "Indu won't come hereafter."

Mohini: You can't separate us as long as I'm alive.

Sujal went near the door and said, "Kashish, come, let's go."

Kashish looked at Mohini and said, "Mom, please stop him."

Sujal: Kashish, I am not going to turn back to this house again. It is for you to choose your immediate family or your mother.

Mohini: Where will he go? I have seen many people like that. He will eventually come back.

Kashish faints.

Flashback ends.

The next day

Preeta told Sujal, "I am sorry. I couldn't be a good daughter. I always made you unhappy by becoming sad."

Sujal: It's not your fault. I failed as a father.

Preeta: Don't say that. If it were in your control, you would have plucked the moon and the stars for me from the sky.

Sujal: Get well soon. We will leave the city and go back to Delhi.

Simar comes there & overhears the conversation.

Sujal leaves.

Simar went to Preeta & said, "I've come to apologize to you."

Preeta: Apologize for what?

Simar: I will explain you.

Preeta: But I don't want to hear anything.

Simar: But still, I want to tell you something. You never allowed me to park my vehicle on my first college day. That was the time I decided to take revenge on you. I've never accepted defeat. So I took your Prem from you by pretending to love him.

Preeta: Aren't you ashamed of what you did?

Simar: Honestly, yes. That's why I want to apologize to you.

Preeta: Some mistakes are so grave that they would be unpardonable.

Simar: Would you not forgive me if I were your younger sister? Think of me as your younger sister & forgive me.

Preeta: I forgive you.

She caressed Simar's face and said, "People are right in saying you are very crazy."

Simar goes to Sujal's office and meets him in his cabin.

Sujal sees Simar & is surprised.

Sujal: Simar.

Simar: I've come to your office for the first time. Won't you ask me to take a seat.?

Sujal: Sit down.

Simar sat opposite Sujal and said, "I am in a good mood today. I've not come to take anything from you but to give you something. I've come to put an end to all your sorrows."

Sujal: Did you change your decision?

Simar: You can take it that way. I've made a vital decision. I decided to go to America as I've nothing to do with Prem. Get Preeta married to Prem soon.

Sujal came forward. He said, "But why did you make that decision? You also love Prem, right?"

Simar: I thought a lot about it. I realized that you are like my father & are a good person. It was not an age for me to marry. I aim to study in America, be independent, and experience life. I need your blessings to start a new life.

Sujal: Yes, I am like your dad. You are of Preeta's age. Not all fathers get a daughter like you. I wish you all the best.

Tears roll out of Simar's eyes. Sujal wiped her tears. Both hug emotionally.

After breaking the hug, tears roll out of Simar's eyes.

Sujal: Are you alright?

Simar: Yes, I am fine. I only got a little crazy and emotional. I will see you later.

Simar leaves.

Simar was ready to fight for her love but now she has decided to give in. A very wrong step. No one will be happy. Her sacrifice will be wasted.

Simar and Preeta are sisters. That changes the equation on many levels.

How can Sujal do this? What is he thinking? Love can not be demanded from someone.

Amazing Update

Sad that Sujal wants Simar to make a sacrifice

Simar knowing that sujal is her dad was emotional.

I am shocked that sujal requested simar to sacrifice prem for preeta.simar is right. sujal was really selfish.i loved every dialogue of simar to sujal and refusing to sacrifice prem.shocking that simar thinks that her dad is a bad person.i think mohini filled her ears against sujal.glad that moloy told her the truth.SK song was romantic. Little preeta scene was nice.Sad that mohini betrayed sujal and created misunderstandings between SK.i think sujal thought that kashish didn't want him.he didn't know that kashish fainted.maybe bcz she was pregnant with simar.sad that simar decided to sacrifice prem for preeta by lying that she was pretending to love prem.simar sujal scene was very emotional. Superb pics.

But I think mohini kaahish sujal edit in the last scene doesn't suit.because it was a serious scene but kashish and mohini were smiling.
