Soumya's hostel/10 PM

Soumya comes out of her hostel with a handbag and phone. She is looking for Rudra who actually called her for night out. He told he he'd come within ten minutes.

After 30 minutes of waiting. Soumya got irritated and dialed his number. It was busy.

Exasperated Soumya, waited without choice.

Suddenly Soumya was hugged from the back.

Rudra - "Did you miss me?"

Soumya - "Rudra... What is this? Someone could see this.."

Rudra rubbed his cheeks with her cheeks.

Rudra - Let them see. Who cares? But for you, I checked and confirmed that no one is there."

Rudra released the hug. Soumya beats his elbow.

Soumya - "Why are you late?"

Rudra - "Come with me. I'll tell you."

Rudra took Soumya to the corner of the street. There is a bike parked.

Rudra - "How can we go night out without a bike? So I begged my colleague to give his bike for this night. That's why it got late.

Rudra pulled his ears and asked sorry. He takes a chips packet which he was hiding under his shirt.

Soumya smiled and got the chips packet from him.

Rudra - "You forgave me?"

Soumya takes a rose from her handbag and gives it to Rudra.

Rudra - "How sweet.."

He is about to get it from her but Soumya moves it distant.

Soumya - "Find why I am giving you the rose."

Rudra - "It's because we are lovers."

Soumya - "No. And you know the reason. Just remember it."

Soumya puts the rose and opens the chips packet and starts eating it.

Rudra - "I don't know..."

Rudra thinked hard...

Rudra - "Yeah I got it..."

Flashback

Rudra - "By the way, I got committed, not single anymore. The lucky girl is Romi."

Soumya feels heavy, but managed to hide it.

Soumya congratulated Rudra, "Wish you stay happily with Romi."

Rudra notices a red rose in Soumya's bag. Rudra took that.

Rudra - "Your obsession for red roses won't change, Soumya... But you are not at all finding someone for you to hand over this rose to him. You're so weird."

Soumya laughs. Rudra gives the rose to Soumya, "Take your red rose. Next time, the rose in your bag should be given by your soul-mate not any shopkeeper."

Soumya takes the rose from Rudra and keeps it in bag.

Soumya smiled and gives the rose to Rudra.

Rudra and Soumya hugged each other. 

Rudra - "So cute, Soumya."

Rudra pulled her cheeks tightly.

Soumya - "Aww... Idiot... leave me."

Rudra laughs and so is Soumya.

Rudra starts riding the bike as Soumya sits in the back. Rudra plays Badtameez Dil song from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani in his mobile.

Rudra drives the bike slightly faster as the wind drizzles their faces. Soumya hold Rudra tightly and lie on his back comfortably. Rudra mimics the dialogue part of the lyrics (below)

Rudra drives the bike slightly faster as the wind drizzles their faces. Soumya hold Rudra tightly and lie on his back comfortably and vibes to the song.

Rudra - "Are you enjoying it?"

Soumya - "Yes. A lot."

Rudra - "Do you love me?"

Soumya - "Yes..."

Rudra - "Let the world hear it. Shout it, dude."

Soumya  shouted - "I love you Rudra..."

Rudra - "I couldn't hear..."

Soumya again shouted, "I love you Rudra.... I love you..."

Rudra - "Again I couldn't hear."

Soumya  slightly goes back. She slightly stands holding Rudra's shoulders.

Soumya - "I love you Rudra...."

Soumya shouted it from the bottom of throat louder than the previous two times. As soon as she completed her, fire crackers was burst and a beautiful deisgn was displayed in the atmosphere.

Soumya and Rudra smiled. 

Rudra - "It's beautiful yaar."

Soumya - "Exactly."

Saying this, Soumya comes back to her normal position.

Rudra - "The world is happy with our love."

Soumya - "I miss Kolkata now. But yeah, its very amazing here. No traffic and only we are in the road and the crackers was spellbound."

Rudra - "It's god's wish that we should be together. That's a sign."

Rudra drives and he stops at a river. 

Rudra and Soumya comes there. He takes a coin from his pocket. 

Soumya - "Are you going to toss it in the river?"

Rudra - "Yes. So that the wish of mine get fulfilled."

Soumya - "But it is not associated with any temple, right?"

Rudra - "The world belongs to the god and so all the rivers are sacred."

Soumya - "Your wish and your logic! I am not going to tell anything."

Rudra thinks, "I hope my memories with Romi won't affect Soumya or me in the future. Hope I could forget her memories and live peacefully with Soumya. Hope Romi gets someone who loves her immensely." and throws the coin into the river.

Soumya - "What did you think, Rudra? I mean what's your wish?"

Rudra - "I won't say. Else, it won't get fulfilled."

Soumya - "Ajeeb insaan." (Weird man!)

Rudra is about to leave with Soumya. Soumya stops. She also takes a coin from her bag. She folded her hands and prayed, "Hope Rudra pursues his bike racing dream and achieves high." and tossed the coin into the river.

Rudra - "What did you wish, Soumya?"

Soumya - "I won't say."

Rudra - "Ajeeb ladki." (Weird lady)

Soumya and Rudra laughed.

Rudra and Soumya continues their bike ride.

Next day 5.30 PM / Romi's house

Rohan is greeted by Romi's parents Mr. Roy and Mrs. Roy and they let him sit on the sofa. The servants served him juice and snacks.

Mr. Roy - "Rohan beta, how is your health now?"

Rohan - "Yeah uncle. It was good and I'm going to participate in the State Level Athletics too."

Mrs. Roy - "But Rohan beta, Romi told us that doctor suggested not to take part in any sports activities for next few years."

Rohan - "Haan aunty. Doctor told me not to take part. But I pushed myself and my condition improved. Doctors too said that I'm fit and fine now."

Mrs. Roy - "That's great, beta. Romi is in her college. She must be returning home by ten to fifteen minutes."

Rohan - "Okay aunty. I'll wait."

Mr. Roy - "Rohan beta... I've heard that you train students in athletics. Is it true?"

Rohan - "Yes uncle. I am training a few students who are interested in athetics and sports."

Mr. Roy - "Great beta. There is my brother's son who is studying 10th standard. He is good at sports and aspires to win in National Athletics Championship. His father is looking for a good trainer. Romi told me yesterday about you, so I am asking you if you could him."

Rohan - "Yeah sure, uncle. I can train him."

Mr. Roy - "Thanks beta. I'll ask my brother to speak to you."

Rohan - "Okay uncle."

Romi comes. She hugs her mom and dad.

Romi - "Hi Rohan."

Rohan smiled. As suggested by her mom, she takes Rohan to her room.

Romi takes Rohan to her room.

Romi - "Is there any lead about your accident?"

Rohan - "Yeah but leave those things now... Tell me how is your day."

Romi - "But Rohan..."

Rohan - "Come on... How is your day?"

Romi - "It was really good. The professors are excellent and I learnt a lot today. Then, I played cricket with my classmates."

Rohan - "Cricket. Really?"

Rohan looks at her in a pleasant surprise.

Romi - "Yeah... Why?"

Romi said shyly.

Rohan - "You always refused to play when I try to teach you and in fact you never even  hold a bat properly."

Romi - "Oh shut up... My friends teach me how to hold it. In fact I scored two six and five fours."

Rohan couldn't believe it.

Romi - "And I scored the highest of all."

Rohan suddenly starts laughing at her. Romi pouts and takes a book and hits him.

Rohan - "Okay sorry... sorry... It was double shock. You learnt to hold a bat properly and even becomes the highest scorer."

Romi - "Truth always taste bitter, Rohan."

Romi laughed.

Romi - "Okay leave it. Actually boys taught us to hold the bat and taught us cricket. Since we were beginners, they throw the ball with less force and were quite liberal with us. But when it was their turn for batting, they were quite lethargic and less focussed. But surprisingly most of the girls are bowled quite good so they got out with less than 10 runs."

Rohan - "So that's the matter."

Romi - "But it doesn't change the fact that I'm the highest scorer."

Romi and Rohan laughed.

Rohan - "Your parents scored high today in my heart. They are more sweet than you."

Romi laughed.

Rohan - "Seems like I don't have to fear that much when I ask for alliance in your house."

Romi shied away. Rohan comes near her and holds her hand and was about to kiss her.

Romi - "The door was open, Rohan. So..."

Rohan - "Oops..."

Rohan and Romi laughed.

Romi - "Enough of joking, now tell me. What is the current state of your accident case?"

Rohan - "Rajveer bhaiyya talked to his ACP friend and he has almost accepted to take the case. But he is asking for some evidence which proves it to be an murder attempt. Anjali didi gave him my medical reports and the drug test report as well. But it is not enough to link Ayaan and Naveen Basu to this case."

Romi - "Okay... So we need to find a way. Why don't we ask Vikas to give a statement?"

Rohan - "We can't. Vikas was neither an eye-witness nor he has any evidence."

Romi - "Rohan, did you speak about this to Rudra and Soumya?"

Rohan - "No why?"

Romi - "Because Rudra and Soumya saw you and admitted in the hospital. So there are possibilities that they noticed something strange."

Rohan - "Yes, isn't it? I didn't even think about it."

Rohan dials Rudra. Rudra attends the call. The call is in speaker so that Romi could hear.

Rohan - "Hi Rudra, how is everything going on?"

Rudra - "Yeah bhai. It's going good. How are you? How is everyone at home?"

Rohan - "I am good and everyone at good is also good. The only void is your absence. We're waiting."

Rudra - "8 days to go, bro... And then Rudra will be there to irritate you."

Rohan - "Fine okay... I have to ask you something important. Are you free now?"

Rudra - "Yeah, I'm free."

Rohan - "Soumya and you admitted me who met with accident, right?"

Rudra - "Yeah bhai, we admitted you. What happened?"

Rohan - "Did you notice anything weird or abnormal there? Like, was it really an accident?"

Rudra - "Bhai, actually..."

Rohan - "Let it be anything... Tell me, Rudra."

Rudra - "Bhai, I was convinced that it was an accident. But Soumya was always doubting if it was an accident or not. She told me few things supporting her statements... I perceived that it was just her theories. But I am not in the state of thinking at that time... I hope you remember the reason."

Rohan looks at Romi. Romi sighs.

Rohan - "Okay, Rudra. I'll call Soumya and ask her."

Rudra - "Okay Bhai. Wait a minute..."

Rohan - "What Rudra?"

Rudra - "There was no blood stains in your body when we saw you."

Rohan got shocked but still managed to stay calm, "Thanks Rudra. I'll contact Soumya."

Rudra cuts the call.

Rohan dials Soumya's number. Soumya attends the call and Rohan puts the call in speaker.

Rohan - "Hello Soumya, It's Rohan speaking."

Soumya - "Haan bhaiyya... I have your number. How are you?"

Rohan - "Good Soumya.  How are you and work?"

Soumya - "Yeah, I'm good and work is going good."

Rohan - "Soumya, are you free now as I want to discuss something important."

Soumya - "Yeah Bhaiyya. Tell me."

Rohan - "Rudra and you admitted me in the hospital when I met with an accident, right? So you must be the one who saw me first."

Soumya - "Yeah. We two saw your first."

Rohan - "Do you know how did the accident occur?"

Soumya - "I don't know as I didn't see. We tried calling you and heard your mobile ringing. Then we saw you in the bushes unconconscious. So, probbaly a truck might have hit you..."

Rohan - "Are you believing that a truck hit me and I was thrown to the bush?"

Soumya was taken aback by such sudden question.

Soumya - "Why is this question, bhaiyya? Is there any problem?"

Rohan tells everything from meeting Vikas Basu to Rudra suggesting him to talk with Soumya.

Rohan - "Is there something through which you can help?"

Soumya remembers discussing with Vashma about the suspcious factors of the accident.

Soumya - "Bhaiyya, even though we thought it to be an accident, we didn't find any blood stain in your body. Most of the injuries we saw are due to the thorns in the bushes."

Rohan - "Then it couldn't be an accident, right?"

Soumya - "Don't know, bhaiyya.  We also had a doubt that the truck hit you somewhere else and someone possibly wiped the blood from the body and brought you to the park."

Rohan - "Okay, alright."

Soumya - "Also I guess you were lying unconscious in the bushes for more than half-an-hour for sure. After talking to Ayaan, we went inside the park and sit in the bench. The bush was quite near us so we could've noticed if someone thrown you there in that duration."

Rohan - "Ayaan. You mean Ayaan Basu."

Soumya - "Yeah, yes. It's him. He came to my house for alliance and was kind of forcing me to accept his proposal. For that, he came to park as well."

Rohan - "He came to the park?"

Soumya - "Not actually coming to meet me. But he was coming out of the park when we are about to enter inside."

Rohan - "Oh my god!"

Rohan remembers Vikas's words

Vikas - "Yes, I heard their conversation few days back. They were talking that they injected some drugs into your body on the day of your so called accident. It might be the reason why you don't remember anything."

Rohan - "Drugs? But..."

Vikas - "Police interference was very less because of my father's influence."

Romi - "It means, they could have kidnapped Rohan and beat him to some extent and threw him to the bushes."

Rohan - "Thank you Soumya. I'll call you later."

Rohan cuts the call.
