'daal mein tarka laga dena, matter paneer main namak kuch kam hain' Gunvanti is ordering the cooks of the house around in preparation for the next morning, it was karva chauth and she didn't want a single thing out of place. 'arre, shaku didi, its good you came, I wanted to ask you about the sweet rice…' gunvanti stops mid way and doesn't complete her sentence, she looks at shakuntala with a confused expression and says, 'sab kuch teek hain? Aap kuch pareshan (worried) lag rahe hain', Gunvanti holds on to shaku's arm and looks straight into her eyes. 'no no, its nothing. I guess I'm just tired, we have to wake up early tomorrow and I need to go and give manasvi her sargi'. Shakuntala picks up a red decorated plate , with a silk cloth over it she then makes her way out of the kitchen.

Gunvanti follows Shakuntala up the stairs, they are both holding decorated plates in their hands for their bahus. Gunvanti knocks on shefali's door and shakuntala continues walking towards manasvi's room.
'maa, please come in', manasvi places the plate on the coffee table and sits down next to shakuntala, 'maa, it is Bhoomi's first karva chauth, so when you go to give her the sargi I think you should explain to her all the rituals', Manasvi then starts to sort out her sargi and then looks at shakuntala awaiting her response.
'nahin, mein voh larkhi ko sargi nahin doo gee. I don't see her as my daughter in law. She is nothing to me, but only a mere servant. She ruined my son's life , I hate her! Mein us ko nafrat karti hoon', shaku then starts to shed a few tears and stands up to leave the room.
'maa, please stop. You may not accept her as your bahu, but she is arjun's wife, and arjun has accepted her. Arjun is your son, and karva chauth is for a wife to pray for the long life of her husband, which in bhoomi's case is arjun. If you don't want to bless Bhoomi, it doesn't mean that Arjun should not be blessed either. For Arjun's happiness, give Bhoomi the sargi.' Manasvi has an almost pleading tone towards the end of her sentence; shaku leaves the room as soon as manasvi finishes speaking.

'Arjun I can't find the file, I remember I put it in the top drawer, but where did it go?' Bhoomi continues shuffling around in all of the drawers, 'Bhoomi, how am I supposed to know where you put it?Its 12.24 am, I think its about time you go to sleep, find it tomorrow', Arjun is lying on the sofa and begins to yawn.

'ouch!' Bhoomi gives out a little scream and starts to shake her right hand frantically in the air, her bangles start to jingle loudly and she starts to blow on her finger. Arjun jumps off his sofa and grabs Bhoomi's hand, he takes a look at the finger Bhoomi had caught into the drawer and then sucks the blood with his mouth. Bhoomi continues to stare at arjun while he has bhoomi's finger in his mouth, 'Bavri, why don't you do anthing slowly and carefully? You're always in a rush', Arjun then pauses and starts to look at Bhoomi…………the romantic music plays
