A: scoffs….omg dev! Your parents called my house yesterday night and told me that…we're not getting engaged! This has to be a mistake!! I noe we had a lil fight ….but I didn't noe it would result in this!!

D: uh…abhi…hate to break it to you but its true…I just said yes to you because of my parents.

A: Gasp! Scoff! Glare!!

N she walks off.

The whole gang laughs their heads off after she leaves.

After College

You see Dev talking to some varsity football players….n than you see Preeti running towards him.

P: DEV!!!!

Dev turns around and smiles seeing Preeti, but before he can speak …

P: SHOPPING!!

D: what? Y?

Since the college does not know about the marriage and are not Indian Preeti say:

P: shaadi ke kapre…of course

D: oh..ok sure lets go….bye guys!

They sit in dev's car and drive to the mall (and yes this mall does sell Indian clothes…hello NY! Like half the population in new york are Punjabis….i think they should really make Punjabi their second language lol).

IN THE CAR:

D: …..you noe how we were practically fighting with love this morning…n u said we would eventually fall in love with each other….wat if we didn't?

P: …well I might not fall in love with you but you will deff. Fall in love with me!

D: oh really?...y wouldn't u fall in love with me? N wat so special about you that make u think that I will fall in love with u?

P: thinks: I cant fall in love with u cuz I think I already am….

P: aloud: well…u…hm…ur just not good enough for me…(thinks: yeah right more like I'm not good enough for u..) n wats so special about me? Lets see….hello!! I'm me!! (laughs)

D: that u r…(laughs).

They have reached the mall by now and enter a store which has very beautiful langas' and saris'. Preeti tries a couple of them for her mendhi, engagement, and etc. she finally finds all of her clothes and now its time for Dev…while they are looking for clothes they are laughing smiling and anyone can tell they are made for each other…can they though? after all that…

P: Go…

D: What?

P: go…somewhere……but here…

D: y?

P: cuz I have to pick out my bridal dress and you know the rules…lol

D: (mutters) stupid rules….

Dev walks out and Preeti looks for a dress. Y don't we follow dev for a while? Dev walks into a store…it looks like a jewelry store….now..i wonder wat he is doing here? Hmmm…

An old saleswoman comes to him….( salewoman: SW)

SW: welcome to Jared's galleria. Can I help you?

D: umm….i just want a ring….

SW: ah…for someone special of course! Come this way….

She takes him to the 22kt. Section.

D: yea…

SW: well I am sure with looks she will surely say yes!

D: (laughs) she already did!

SW: and your giving her the ring now?

D: our engagement is tomorrow so yea…haha

The lady smiles…..now you see Preeti coming out of the store and doing something on her fone. Back to dev:

D: yea can you get that one plz?

Dev gets out his fone….he got a text and reads it.

D: (chuckles) ok thank you!

SW: no problem…good luck on the marriage!
