Next morning Shabd woke up and surprised to see the door between the two rooms is kept open unlocked and saw Mahi still on bed. Mahi also broke her sleep and looked Shabd staring at her. She blushed and got up of bed.
"Goodmorning Mahi!" after she reciprocated he continued "Jaldi taiyyar ojao I want to take you out." He walked into bathroom without waiting for her response. Mahi couldn't guess where would be he wants to take her. She got ready with her usual chudidhar. Shabd wanted to tell her to change into some modern dress but changed his mind "wohi dheerey dheerey seekh jaayegi."
He took her to NIFT, National Institute for Fashion Technology, Mumbai and introduced to the registrar, admissions, there. They were given an application for the written test which will be conducted in few days "Ms.Mahi! Yeh raha written test model papers to know your knowledge, skill and aptitude for the programme of designing, and other information. Once you get through this written test you are asked to go for Situation Test(ST) and Thematic Apperception Test(TAT), Group Discussion and later Personal interview. By November the classes will be commenced. I think your husband Mr. Shabd Sareen would help as he was very good fashion designer and owns a big fasion industry for himself."
Mahi looked at Shabd to make sure for his concern and Shabd reassured with his eyes.
After an hour of getting familiar with the subject and procedures they came home.
"Mahi! I will bring some books for you to get prepared well for the exam and you have to start very seriously to concentrate immediately."
Mahi is pleased for his interest and informed Raaji with excitement.
"Mainey kahan ki nahin? Tumhey achasa pati miljaayega and he will take care of your studies? Now stop cursing him and our parents and concentrate on preparation. Now you have to study for Shabd as he is very concerned about your studies."
Mahi promised for her efforts and hung the phone. Mahi started studying day and night seriously for the exams. She got used to ask Shabd for doubts on and off and him in helping her anytime.
Both Shabd and Mahi got used to each other and made friends because of these exams. Shabd yells at her when she makes mistakes repeatedly and she demands to provide tea or coffee to make her awake for studies. She gets a cheerful smile and feels bad whenever remembers her first night incident. Shabd teases her when she gets angry on him "OH Mahi! Please, kahin knife toh nahin chupayi, mujhey maaf kardo, I never repeat the mistake." She laughs holding her stomach for his witty nature.
Mahi started feeling nervous for the exams and asked Shabd for accompany her. He teased her "Exam bhi main hi likhdoon?" She pouted her lips "Dekhiyena Dayi Ma!Yeh kaisey mujhey ched raha hai"
"Haan jaroor dekhiyena DM! yeh kaisey humey poochrahi hai ki exams mein bhi madat karoon." Shabd imitated her explaining her nervousness. DM affectionately enjoyed their little fights and laughed.
"Aapko aaney ki koyi jaroorat nahin, Mein khud chali jaaoongi. Aur baad mein yeh mat kehna ki mein exam mein fail hogayi. Aaj tak itna madat karliya tha aur ab mein nervous hokar kuch nahin likh diya hota toh don't blame me, okay!!" she bit her tongue as she also caught his habit of saying 'okey' at the end of every sentence.
Shabd laughed "Jaroor kahoonga, aaj tak madat karna mera farz tha ab acha likh kar exam pass hona tumhari baari hai. Nahin toh puri mehnnat par paani padegi"
"Chalo main ek minute main taiyyar hokar aajaaoonga and be ready to leave" Shabd walked into his room.
He took Mahi to the Institute for written exam and stayed till finished her exam. Mahi who didn't expect him to stay there, excited "Aap abb tak yahi hai? Thanks"
"Thanks baad mein ab batao exam kaisi rahi?"Shabd stopped her excitement.
Mahi blushed and smiled "It's very good. Credit goes to you only."
Shabd also smiled "Credit kiskey bhi o jeet toh hum donon ka hoga. Your victory is mine too."
Mahi shook her head and agreed.
Mahi informed Raaji about her exam and performance and Shabd to Veena. Both Veena and Raaji felt happy for both.
Mahi's results came up and she passed through the exam. Next she has to get ready for the ST, TAT and group discussions.
For ten days Shabd spent day and night with Mai to prepare her for the tests. He explained how to face the group discussions. He yelled…. she cried, he screamed… she pouted, he annoyed…she grinned, she stopped talking to him he manaofied her…they both enjoyed each other presence, companion and atlast Mahi went through both ST and TAT, and group discussion. Shabd took two people possession and asked Mahi to imagine as two people and made her discus in different ways as if four people discuss on the subjects. Mai became well acquainted with the topic and got good score in the exams.
She faced the interview daringly under Shabd's training and topped in the students applied for the course.
Atlast the waiting time is over and Mahi entered into her dream world of fashion designing classes. She prayed in the morning had nice breakfast and dropped in the college by her husband, companion, friend, trainer, teacher, caretaker, Shabd. Now she worships him, takes permission before does everything; shares her feelings, wishes, opinions, with him.
Shabd has growing his interest, love and affection on her day by day. He has very bright future plans about her. After all she is the woman to rule his life and his business in future.
