Part 10

Recap-Ranbir finds out about Kanya's condition.

Ranbir is lost in his thoughts about how Kanya can keep so strong despite all her setbacks but loved her strength of going on alone but hated the fact she could get cured but refusing treatment which astonished him. She had so much going for her why refuse. He would make it his mission to save her life. It really bothered him that Kanya could throw her chance of survival no matter what it took. He noticed how much he cared about Kanya who he hated so much in his youth but now he found her attractive. He shook his head. No wait his goal was Radha not Kanya. She was just helping him with Radha. It was Radha he wanted not Kanya. But why was he thinking about Kanya all the time.

Kanya was relieved that Ranbir knew as now she didn't have to lie like she was with Pooja Di about how bad her condition was. Kanya had to get Radha together with Ranbir and then hopefully get Ranbir reunited with his mother and Karma would be good and she could die happy knowing she'd done some good in life and she wasn't a curse as everything she touched normally turned to ash. On top they had to go see Radha and her bridal party coming in which was going to suck big time. She didn't know why but everytime she tried to fix Ranbir with Radha now just made her think she shouldn't bother as Radha didn't deserve a great guy like Ranbir if she didn't know a good thing. She must be blind. Kanya didn't know why she was ever hung up on Karan as he was so boring yes he still looked good but he didn't have thoses intense killer eyes that made her weak at the knees. She had to get out more spending time with Ranbir was definitely making her crave things she couldn't afford to think about.

They came back to the Hotel and Kanya took her shoes off and crashed in the chair. Ranbir sat next to Kanya trying hard not to question her but Kanya could tell that he was trobled and ask him to fire away with his questions. Ranbir finally bombarded her with the main one why is she not getting any treatment and how far gone is she?

K-The reason for it is simple i can't be bothered with life when i turn things to dust. Pooja Di is better of without me and i wanna do things i'm proud of and not die at the operating table not being able to say bye and see my loved one. Simple. I have embraced death i can't afford to think about life as so many others deserve to live than I do. So everytime i get worked up and get too depressed it hurts same with if i'm too happy. So i try to not over do.

R-R U trying to say that U deserve death? Thats stupid and U know it.

K-Whatever my reason its what i believe. Nothing can change it. I never told anyone this but its easier for me nor having too many bonds. Now my turn to ask why do U not want to find your birth mother?

R-Well why should i bother for a person that gave up her child and never bothered coming back for me. I don't care who she is and where she is. At the end her leaving me was the best thing as i've strived to achieve where i am now. I'm super rich and happy.

K- R U?

R-Of course. Why wouldn't i be?

K-Maybe something is missing.

R-Like U R happy?

K-Look i'm dying i accept my fate.

R-Why accept it when U can fight it?

K-Nobody can fight death Ranbir. As i have no reason to go on. I'm a liability to Pooja Di but not any more. U give up on the truth. But if i'm to be given a miracle i will live. Fighting takes too much energy and gives a sense of fake hope. If i can persuade U to meet your Mom i might be willing to save myself hows that for a trade.

R-U R serious?

K-U R afraid of rejection right?

R-Ur afraid U won't get to see Pooja in your last moment but what if U had one person U would fight to live for?

K-Thats not reason enough is it.

R-I will find something that U will want to fight for if its the last thing I do.

K-Well good luck finding it as i am not willing to have an operation knowing full well that My Dad dies without seeing anyone of us and Mom died of heartbreak.

They both look at each other as if they couldn't understand the reasoning behind their decisions. Ranbir and Kanya agree to disagree for now but both R so stubborn they won't let it slide past. For now it was time to get ready For Radha's meet nad greet and practice the speech's and blah blah.

There was just 3 days to the wedding and stopping Radha was getting hard. Kanya agrred to pretend to be Ranbir's fiance. Although girl friend would have been a good idea. Ranbir liked the idea of Kanya being his fiance and the same for Kanya with Ranbir being her fianc.

Ranbir took Kanya and saw Radha and Karan hand in hand. Rads looks like dynamite but Ranbir wasn't that bothered but Kanya was. She hated him being all love sick. If only Kanya knew. Ranbir sat at the table and gave Kanya a kiss in front of the soon to be married couple which took Kanya by surprise she hadn't expected. She seemed to resist for a while until the kiss went deeper and seemed like it was just the 2 of them in the room. When Ranbir finally broke the kiss he was more confused than ever. The kiss was supposed to make Radha jealous which looked like it worked but opened a can of worms as now Kanya had the desire to be kissed again and Ranbir was still hazy about the kiss. Both stared at the other. Radha approached Kanya and Ranbir as did Karan. Kanya tried to move away but Ranbir had her held with his arms.

R-So U guys R ready for the big day?

Karan-As ready as one can be.

RM-U 2 an item?

R-Well she's my fiance.

RM-But the other day Kanya said that U were just friends.

R-We were but after seeing U 2 together i realized that Kanya the girl i always hated is the one for me. Right darling? (Ranbir's foot was kicked by Kanya for being so close)

K-Right darling We only decided 2 days ago after i had a chat with Radha it was the right thing to do. We Love each other a lot and well i guess in the corner of my dark heart i always did but never saw te signs.

Karan-Double wedding then?

K-No!

RM-So where did U propose? (Radha now even more mixed up)

Both together. K-Here?      R-Hotel?

Karan-Which is it?

K-Ranbir proposed in your party but i rejected it. Then he propsed again in the hotel with good reasoning.

R-Yeah as the thought of U marrying made me think that why bother waiting when i love Kanya alot but she wanted it to be special.

RM-Wheres ther ring?

R-Kanya has such small fingers it didn't fit so we will be getting one that is being specially made for Kanya.

K-I need a drink. Excuse me.

Radha by now was curious and took Ranbir in the hall. Kanya was looking at Ranbir and Radha who just out of nowhere started kissing Ranbir. Kanya left straight away not being able to see the rest of the events. Ranbir didn't feel right at all and for once Radha knew that marrying Karan was the right thing as she didn't care for Ranbir that way well not the way she suspected. Ranbir saw Karan coming their way and left to find Kanya who was fuming not understanding why. She knew Ranbir had feelings for Radha and not her but why did it bother her she could care less right? Ranbir took the drink from Kanya not wanting her to drink but Kanya not giving a damn. She just glared at him. Ranbir saw Karan heading this way and just kissed Kanya again she tried to resist but melted away again but angry at herself for letting herself go. Kanya remembered the kiss with Radha and pushed Ranbir away looking at Radha coming her way.

K-Don't touch me!

R-Kanya!

K-I mean it. Stay away from me.

R-I don't understand.

K-Neither do I but it feels weird and after what U did with Radha. See U at the hotel.

R-But let me come with U.

K-I need space.

With that Kanya leaves the scene leaving Ranbir alone. Karan and Radha wanted to know what was going on but Ranbir was too messed up in his own head to give them an answer.
