PART 18

RECAP-Ranbir was ordered to get Kanya back after he confessed to breaking up with her. Aditya helps Ranbir understand his feelings. Kanya too has a heart to heart with Pooja.

Ranbir is outside the Godboles house trying to get his thoughts together thinking what to tell Kanya. He didn't know how she felt about him and he was still confused. In 2 weeks they had gone through a lot and he could see how close he was to her but is this what love was about. Aditya bhaiya was waiting in the car. It wasn't his place to interfere with Ranbirs problems. He was just there for moral support. Ranbir knocked on the door. Pooja came out and he asked to see Kanya. Pooja told Ranbir that Kanya wanted nothing to do with Ranbir anymore as she got her way out from this sham of a marriage. She didn't mention how upset Kanya was by this but her priority was to get her little sisters life on the mend but if Ranbir came knocking back in Kanyas life who knew what would happen. Kanya wanted to forget Ranbir. Ranbir tried to get passed but Pooja shut the door in his face.

A-Kya huwa?

R-Pooja said Kanya doesn't want to see me.

A-Well if U don't do something now Chachi tera kaal uder lenge.

R-I know.

A-Well tu filmy ban ja or window climb kar kyun ki Kanya us room main hain.

R-Do i look like i climb windows. Its a bit drastic isn't it.

A-Well these R drastic times. U want Kanya to help U right.

R-Yes but killing myself over it isn't a great plan.

A-Tu kaisa Ashiq hain Kanya ki bare main raat bar sochta hain lekin ek window climb nahin kar sakhtha.

R-For Kanya then ok yeh bhi kar longa but if i break my neck its on your head kyunki idea apke ta.

A-Ja na.

So Ranbir climbed up the pipes and just about made it and swinged his body and got in. He was panting alot as he was out of breath. Kanya came out wanting to know what the racket was and was surprised to see Ranbir in her room. Ranbir looked at Kanya. His heart skipped several beats and he knew then what he felt for Kanya is a lot stronger. He never saw a more beautiful woman his whole life. She was the only person that made him do the most ridiculous things all for the sake of pleasing his mother. Aditya bhaiya told him one look would give him the answer he was seeking.

K-What R U doing here? Pooja Di kicked U out.

R-So U overheard right. I had to see U.

K-Well i have washed my hands of U now. U should go Di will be here she heard the racket too.

R-Kanya U look like i feel.

K-Thanks just what a girl wants to hear. R U done?(Ranbir comes close to her)

R-Kanya why R U being like this?

K-Don't come near me Ranbir stay as far as possible.

R-Kanya tumhari ankhen itni lal kyun hain? Has someone said something 2 U? Why don't U want me to come close to U?

K-Just tell me what U want to say and go.

R-Kanya tum kaise ho?

K-U came to ask me how am I? I'm fine thanks. Now U can go.

P-Kanya What is it? Whose in the room with U? I can here voices U know.

K-Di its a wild cat. I'm trying to get it out of my room.

P-Open the door i'll help U.

K-Its Ok i can manage.

R-Ur sister is feisty.

K-Well she doesn't want to see anyone hurt. Look this isn't the place to chat. Mum and Dad will be mad. I've got what i wanted Ranbir. We R no longer together. Somple.

R-Simple for who Kanya. Is there anywhere we can talk freely. I feel like we'll be disturbed here.

K-Theres no place i know round here.

R-Kanya come with me back home.

K-Listen Ranbir I am not going with U anywhere. I have done my job leave me be.

R-Please just give me a moment. I feel rushed here.

K-Fine. Let me get my things yeah.

K-I'm using the door U can come with me if U like.

So they both go down with Pammi, Anand and Pooja looking on.

P-Where R U going and where did he come from?

K-Di he climbed over the window. We R coming back in a bit so don't worry.

P-If U hurt my sister na i know where U live?

R-Trust me nothing will happen ti your sister.

P-Mamma ap rokiyena un dono ko.

Pam-Yeh in dono ke beech hain. Hume interfere not karna chahiye.

A-Teri Ma sach hi keh rahi hain.

Ranbir and Kanya head to the car with Aditya bhaiya and he briefly explain their situation. Ranbir and Kanya go to the house that he bought and leave Aditya to go back home.

K-Tell me what it is U couldn't tell me in my house?

R-Mom wants us to get married. I told her the truth kinda a way bout what happened in the club and she went ballistic. She also thinks that i'm to blame as U R such a nice girl. She doesn't believe U would do that without being provoked.

K-Ur Mom is on the ball. I must say she's a good judge of character but i can't get married to U again. I want a divorce.

R-Kanya this might seem a little out of the blue. I think i love U.

K-It doesn't matter if U What?

R-Look as hard as it is to believe i didn't want U to give me any response in your house with everyone staring at me. I guess i had to work out why i went so mental on U and i still have these thoughts in my head. Not having any contact with U is like torture. Its only been a day and i feel its been a lifetime. I tried calling U but i get disconnected. I come to your house i get the door slammed in my face. Whats a guy to do.

K-U think U love me. U think? Either U love someone or U don't? What kind of sick joke is this Ranbir? Is it another ploy to get me to agree to marry U? it all started with stupid games? Well in case U haven't noticed i have feelings. I'm a person not a rag doll that U can play wherever U go. I am not playing along with  this so find some other idiot to marry. I'm done.

R-Kanya fine that came out wrong I do love U.

K-Aren't i the lucky one.

R-Its true it took last night for me to understand my feelings for U. Never seeing U.

K-I have a bunch of guys all over me and we break up this makes U fall for me right? That sounds absurd. U don't fall for someone over a stupid thing like that.

R-I don't know how to show U. i'm a guy. Do i know what i'm supposed to say. I haven't slept all night. Just thinking about U.

K-Is this supposed to make me marry U? Its too soon.

R-We can postpone it Kanya I really want to be with U.

K-I don't know. Ranbir i don't think i can take this. U R good at playing with people. I can't take this.

Ranbir goes towards Kanya and holds her hand. He holds Kanyas head with his hands.

R-Look at me Kanya. I have never lied to U before and i'm not going to start now. I truely want to give us a chance. A fighting chance. I'm not good in relationships. Never have been but i want to make it work for us. I'm not in the habit of proposing to every woman i see.

K-I want to believe U. (tears falling)

R-Kanya i didn't want to make U upset. If this is too much i'll back off. I don't want to see U hurt.

K-I can't stop my tears. Its like they have their own control over me. U R the only guy i've ever bothered with but i don't think we R ready for marriage.

R-So we treat it like an arranged marriage but only we date a lot

K-I must be out of my mind. Ok then we make  go of it happy.

R-Very. I just want to kiss U.

K-That can be arranged.

They have an intimate moment.

R-Please promise me U won't strip like that again with any other guy.

K-How about this the only guy that will see me like that is U?

R-I like the thought of that.

K-U better not have any woman besides me holding U in that manner because i am telling U Ranbir i will not stand for it.

R-Deal. So R U coming home with me?

K-For now yes but only to postpone it. We haven't finished all the arrangements yet. My best friend is coming too. U can meet him in a few days time.

K-Not seen him in 4 years.

K-Ranbir i'm so happy. But this seems too good to be true.

R-U have no idea how much i want to pounce on U.

Ranbir and Kanya go to the Nanda house where Kanya explains to Malika that they have cleared up all their differences and wants to marry the week after to give Sameer time to come to the wedding as well invite more family members.

R-Ab toh kush ho na Mom?

M-Very. If anyone is going to be a bahu in this house its Kanya. Don't forget beta main tera ma hoo. I know how your mind works. America main jo kuch huwa mujhe maloom hain.

R-Kya?

M-Akash ne mujhe sab kuch keh diya taw oh subha aya tha. Gwen ne usse kaha aggar yeh sab fixed nahin huwa to phir woh usse shaadi nahin karega.

R-So i don't have to get married?

K-Kya?

R-Joke thi?

M-Kanya mera beta bhuddu hai. Main jaanti hoon he loves U alot. I've seen his face last night and something about him changed. U R that change.
