Part 14

Recap Kanya and Ranbir discuss their plans to break up but have problems with a fool proof plan. Ranbir wanted to know why Kanya hated him. Kanya replies that she hates his outlook on women and sees them as flings, their beauty but never looks beyond who they really are.

Another 2 days pass. Kanya has already bought her outfits for the Mehendi, the wedding and for the reception. Everything looked so beautiful all that was lesft was the jewellary to go with it. Ranbir took Kanya Jewellary shopping with Pammi and Pooja along with the rest of the Nanda women. The Nanda men escaped this task on the basis that business is calling but its Ranbir's wedding so he will be part of everything from shopping to the catering. This way it would be more speacial for the lovely married couple.

Inside Ranbir just wanted to curl up somewhere and die. They spent hours from one store to the next. Kanya just wanted to run but there was nowhere to hide. On top his nieces Ira and Eva kept on egging him to hold Kanya's hand. To his surprise Kanya didn't look one bit mad but she seemed like she was blushing. Ranbir never expected anyone so simple, so innocent could be so temting. What on earth was he thinking. This is why he avoided women they get U all in a mess if U spend too much time with them.

R-How much longer do we need to be here? This is getting tedious.

K-I know. Parents will be parents. U'r Big D is mad.

R-U haven't seen her party yet. Then U will know the defintion of madness.

K-Well Pooja Di and Shanta R the mad ones in our family.

R-Shanta's a little over the top. Is she married?

K-Kyun tum unse shaadi karoge?

R-Never main itna pagal nahin.

K-Then why do U ask?

R-For Ramu Kaka they R both mad. Couple made in heaven.

K-I haven't seen him yet.

R-I'll have to introduce U to him. He isn't a worker but a close friend.

K-I wish U spoke like that more often.

R-Why?

K-Its making me feel happy seeing this side of U.

M-Tum dono pyar kibaat baad main karlena pehle jis kaam ke liye aye hain usko niptale.

R-Mom ab please hum dono ke beech mat aye.

M-Dekha bahu abhi tak ghar main nahin aya aur woh ussi ki saat kuch plans bana rahe hain.

P-Main bhi kitni lucky hoon jo damaad ji meri Kanya ko itna pyar karte hain.

K-Mamma ap please mujhe embarass kar rahe hain.

R-I've found the perfect piece for Kanya.

Ranbir looks at the red golden jewellery with diomonds sparkling. Kanya liked the look of it and so did the rest of the family. She tried it on and Ranbir couldn't take his eyes off of her. Pooja started clicking her fingers. While the rest of the family burst out laughing. Well now Ranbir grabbed hold of Kanya and took her aside.

R-Pammiji kya main Kanya ko kehi leja sakhta hoon. Usse kuch dikana hain.

I-Chachu ap Chachi ko kuch dikana ya phir kuch karne keliye le ja rahe ho.

E-Chachu bohut chalu hain. So mischievious. I'm sure U have something romantic planned.

R-Tum dono chup raho. ITs nothing like that.

P-Damadji aggar usse lejana chahte ho to tikh hain.

R-Kanya chalogi mera saath.

Kanya wanted to say no but for some reason she nodded her head. Ranbir took her in the car and drove to his new destination. Kanya looked at the area where it looked so magical with tall gates. The greenery was so much refreshing to see compared to all the other parts of Mumbai. There was a huge house in front. The driver took them in the driveway. Kanya got out and was too bust being curious why Ranbir brought her here.

K-Why did U bring me here?

R-I want your opinion on something. Follow me.

Ranbir took hold of Kanya's hand and went in the fron door which he opened with his key. There was an estate agent there who showed them both around. They both went from room to room looking at the the view from outside looked so beautiful. The Garden area was huge too and was colourful with load of flowers. Kanya felt like she was in a castle as she'd never seen houses this huge in size before. Ranbir and the estate agent took Kanya upstairs to see all the rooms. There were 9 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  The rooms were empty but spacious.

R-So how do U like this place?

K-Its so beautiful Ranbir. Whoses is it?

R-Do U Like it? Is it suitable for a family to live in it?

K-U have good taste. The house needs decorating to modernise it but its one magical place. I've never seen a hose so big. Granted in America we have but this is so different. It feels homly.

R-Good. Anthony i'll buy it. Just draw up the paerwork and i'll sign.

K-U R actually buying this place?

R-Yes. Have U seen the other house its too cramped up. This is more suitable for a family. I wanted to know how U felt about it only after a second opinion i would by it.

K-Ranbir this is a great investment. Your Mom will be so happy about this. I'm impressed with U.

R-See i'm not self centred.

K-Ranbir if U keep surprising me i think i'll end up seeing the new U and never want to leave.

R-If U keep this up i don't think i will recognize myself at this rate.

K-I might follow suit and do something speacial for my family.

R-Copy cat

K-Whatever.

R-Admit it tum mera copy kar rahe ho.

K-Can we go now.

R-As soon as i've sighned everything.

They leave the dream home and arrive back to reality where their family R planning a night of their lives. Kind of like a hens night/stag do.
