Part 7

Recap-Ranbir and Kanya come up with a plan to stay married. Then get remarried for the family back home in India. They manage to test it out with their friends to see if they fell for it and had some success.

Ranbir and Kanya get on the first flight to India only problem was they still couldn't stop arguing. Kanya found the smallest thing about Ranbir bothered her. He just rubbed her the wrong way. Shanya said she was coming with them but coward backed out. Turned out she never even bought tickets just pretended she had so now Kanya was alone in this. To make matters worse she was scared of flying. She felt really petrified but didn't want Ranbir to make fun of her. It was bad enough the first time she went on a plane she fainted and the next time she woke up she'd already arrived in LA. But this time she had Ranbir sitting beside her and she didn't trust him one bit. Kanya grabbed hold of her seat real tight. She had her eyes closed.

Ranbir on the other hand was relaxed and cool as a cucumber. He loved travelling it was the best part of going somewhere knew. He just wished he was travelling alone Kanya in a car was a nightmare. All the way through she kept on thinking of going back to her flat to make sure she didn't forget anything. She had loads of gifts packed to take back home to her family. She even bought some new things for Ranbir's parents as she felt bad not getting anything for them. She was meeting them for the first time. Ranbir looked at Kanya who was alarmingly quiet throughout the past 30 minutes. Kanya was never quiet for this long unless she was asleep. Most of the time her job was to irritate him. He saw she had her eyes closed and looked like she would die if she opened her eyes.

R-Kya baat hain Kanya? Ankhen band hain kyun?

K-Tum hain kya!

R-Tum flying karte darthe ho?

K-What nonsense! Tumhara sara huwa bayanak bhoot jaisa chehra ko darti ho. Main tumhare siva kuch dartha wartha nahin.

R-Kanya stop being stupid. You are so frustrating. Duniya main tum ek hi piece ho. Stupid, dumb aur number 1 darpok. Mujhe aggar itna galiya deh sakhte ho to phir yeh kya darna. Tum US aye kaise aggar itna darte ho?

K-Ranbir kaha na main dartha nahin. I'm just meditating.

R-So why is your voice shaking and your forehead scrunched up like that. U R even sweating.

K-I'm feeling hot.

R-I can already see a pattern. U R a pathological liar. Baat baat pe choot bhol rahi ho. ladkiya hote hi aise hain. Mardo ka dimaak khana. I wonder mera India main rehna kya aisi ladke jagadke jayegi. Tumhari mu ko sellotape se ya phir kisi patti se band karna chahiye. Yeh bimari kya khandani hain. K-Khandan pe mat jha warna mujhse buri koi nahin got that. (Points her finger at Ranbir and has her eyes open/ she is fuming.)

R-Jaunga. Kya karloge?

K-Main tumhe sab ke samne insult kardingi!

R-Woh to tum karhi rahi ho. that doesn't scare me. Baton se kisi ko hurt kya karoge. Tum mujhe jaante nahin.

K-Fine baton se nahin to laton se.

R-Tum kya maroge mujhe apne size dekho aur mere dekho. It would take 5 men to move me to tum kya karlogi. Tumhare ghar main laghta hain kisi ko khana nahin milta kyunki aggar milta the tum hatte khatte hote. R-U are so superficial. Har bar tum mere chehre pe jaate ho. do U know what this face is worth. I have women left right and centre falling for me. I don't see any guys after U. Dekho na guys are after a curvaceous woman not insect thin like u with gangly arms.

K-Tum mere appearance pe jaate ho aur mujhe superficial keh rahe ho. double standards ki bhi had hoti hain. U brainless idiot. Maine dekhi hain kitne celebrities aj kal sab thin models ya phir actresses pe marte hain. Tum pehle ajeeb alien kisam ke addmi ho jho in sab pe nahin marte. R-Tum shart maan te ho ya nahin.

K-Fine dekhte hain. Har jaoge.

R-I never lose Ranbir ka magic dekho.

K-Kya magic dekhu? Tum main kuch special hain bhi nahin.
R-Mujhe kya milega aggar mere mission kamyab huwa.

K-Jo tum chaho ge woh dungi. Lekin aggar kisi aire ghere ki saath kuch karna hain to forget it.

R-Soch lo main to kisi aire gaire nahin hoon.

K-Soch liye main darti nahin. Waise tum har gi jaoge. Besides it's not like we've never done anything together. I can't stand U. U can't stand me.

R-Tumhari baat main dum hain besides tumhare saath main. Never. Been ther done that. Can't remember that it was that bad.

K-Well i can say the same for U. Stop changing track. Tum mujhe kya doge aggar tum hare?

R-Same for me. With the same stipulations.

K-Fine

R-It's suppertime main yu gaye aur yun aya.

K-Mujhe bathroom jaana hain uske baad dekhti hoon.

R-Now who's changing track?

Kanya goes to the bathroom to freshen up while Ranbir goes to the stewardess and explains the situation. She feels only too happy to help Ranbir with Kanya. She finds it sweet that he wants to help her phobia of flying. The lady was called Shahzan. She found this quality about Ranbir very appealing and decided she would exchange numbers with him for sure. Ranbir on the other hand though he found her attractive couldn't quite get himself to feel for her like that. He didn't know why.

Kanya came back to her seat thinking Ranbir is so going to lose. The lady didn't once give him eye contact so basically that meant she didn't find him remotely attractive. Part of her wanted to hit Ranbir over the head and knock him out as she knew he was a little too much with his wacked out ideas. From the corner of Kanya's eyes she could see that Ranbir was smiling at the stewardess. The stewardess was also smiling back. Its not like if she lost she'd lost anything she hasn't. Ranbir infuriated her he was so cocky. The guy definitely thought of himself very highly. She'll bring him down a peg or 2. The stewardess came towards them.

S-Hi! Hope everything is going well for U. Would U like anything with your meal?

R-Cocoa please. It helps me sleep. Well what about U?Tum kuch aram karo na!

S-I can't. This job has us going round the clock. I'll get U that drink.

R-Shazhan U have a great smile bring that with U.

S-U 2. Cheeky and very flirty my kind of guy but i'll see what i can do.

R-U R my type too. I guess U can see through me.

S-Enjoy your meal and try not to eye all the stewardesses. Mr Romeo.

R-Ranbir. Thats my name!

S-Yeah whatever!(Walks away to get the Hot chocolate)

K-I see that went smoothly. She didn't bat an eyelid. I think u owe me something.

R-It's not over until games over and this has only just started.

Shahzan comes back. She gives him his drink.

R-Sorry if i came too strong. Tumse baat karne ka bohut mann tha but i'm not used to asking hot girls on planes out. I hope U don't mind. Have U met my friend Kanya. She suggested i go for it.

S-She did did she? Well Kanya i think U 2 suit each other ever thought about getting together.

K-Please spending a few days in his company is enough to make anyone go insane.

R-Excuse me can U stop being so mean.

K-Can U stop flirting. Let her do her work. (Getting mad at Ranbir. What did he think he was?)

S-Yeah but don't worry work ke baad main tumhare saath time zaroor spend karungi. Here take this. It's my number. I was thinking if i should give it or not but U aren't bad.

R-Thank U. Here's my card.

S-Looks like we think alike! Enjoy the rest of the flight.(Walks away)

K-What we R flying?

R-Yes. U managed so far with your eyes open.

Kanya looks out the window and gets panicky. Why did she have to look out? Now she was even more scared. She grabs hold of Ranbir's hand tightly.

R-Kanya look at me! Dekho mujhe. Nothing will happen. Just hold me and go to sleep. I'll look after U?

K-Thanx.

Kanya leaned against Ranbir's shoulders and fell asleep.
