K:Maa, mujhe aapse ek bahut zaroorat baat karni hain...

Pr:(walks to her)Hmm...Kaho...

K:(shows the bed)Yahan baithiye na...

Both of them sat on the bed...But Kt couldn't start the topic...She sat on the bed near Prerna and was looking onto the floor,since she couldn't meet her mom's eyes...

Pr:(keeps her hand on Kt's shoulder)Kya baat hain Kt..?Tum kuch pareshan si lag rahi ho...

K:(looks at Prerna)Maa, agar main aapse ek baat kahoon toh aap mujhe daantegi nahin na...

Pr:Par aisi kaunsi baat hain beta...?

Kt looked down...

Pr:(took Kt's chin and turned her face to look at her )Hey...Koi pyaar vyaar ke chakkar toh nahin hain na beta..?(smiles)

K:(relieved a little bit seeing her mom's smile)Mama..Woh..Darassal baat hain ki..(blushes)

Pr:(laughs)Haan..Haan...Ab jaldi bol na uss ladke ka naam...Sharmaao mat...

K:Laksh...Mama

Pr:(surprised)Laksh!!(and acts as if she was not happy)

K:(felt sad)Kya hua Mama...Aapko Laksh pasand nahin aaye..?

Pr:(smiles)Nahin beta...Laksh bahut hi acha ladka hain...Aur handsome bhi hain...Meri beti ke liye bilkul perfect hain...

K:(felt really happy and hugs her mom)Thank you mama.....Main abhi jaake Laksh ko bataake aati hoon...(and gets up)

Pr:(holds Kt's hand)Arre..Arre...Pehle tum Papa se bhi poonchlo...

K:(thinks about it)Woh aap hi poonchiye na...Main nahin poonch sakti...(shyly)

Pr:(gets up to face Kt)Haay..Haay...Sharmaa rahi ho...(touches Kt's face)Teek hain beta..Main hi tumhaare Papa ko manaaoongi...Ab khush ho na tum....?

K:(smiles)Bahut khush...!(and again hugs her)

Pr:Ok..Ab tum tayyar ho jaao aur neeche aajaao...(leaves Kt)

K:Ok mama....

Prerna left the room and Kt couldn't control her happiness...She went on dancing and jumping and shouting happily all around the room...Then she changed into a pink colour salwar kameez and called Prachi and went to Sneha's room to call her..When they met Sneha, Kt told Sneha and Prachi about this happy news...

S:Wow!!Its a wonderful news Kt...!!

P:We shall tell Laksh also...

K:Nahin Prachi...Let us know my Papa's opinion too...After that we will tell to the boys...

S:Arre tumhaare Papa toh "Haan" hi kahenge....Tum dekhna...

K:(smiling)Even I hope so...

P:Yeah...Your Dad is really nice....So don't worry yaar...

K:Ok..Now let us call the boys and go down...

They called the boys and went downstairs and sat at the dining table....Prerna came to them and served the food for them...Prerna caught Kt's attention and she gave Kt a thumps up sign...Kt understood that Prerna had talked to Anurag and that he gave the consent for their marriage......She whispered to Sneha and Prachi and told this...They felt really happy...

L:Kya baat hain Kt..?What are you girls whispering...?

S:Err..Kuch bhi toh nahin Laksh...

M:(susupiciously)Kuch toh baat hain Laksh...

N:Haan...Main bhi notice kar raha hoon...Yeh log humein bina bataaye kuch planning kar rahe hain...

Pr:(smiles)Laksh beta,ek aur paraatha lo na...

L:(smiling)Nahin aunty..bas..

N:Mujhe chahiye aunty..Its really yummy...

Pr:(serves to Neev)Yeh lo beta...

At that time Anurag came and sat at the table...And Kt didn't want to look into his eyes...

An:(understood Kt's tension)Kt beta...

K:(tensed)Jee Papa(and tries to smile)

An:Tumhari padhaai sab kaise chal rahe hain..?

K:Teek taak Papa..

An:Sneha,Kya yeh sach hain..?

S:(smiling)Haan Uncle..Kt is a brilliant student...

K:Papa...Kya aapko meri baat par yakeen nahin hain...?

An:Haan...Dekh raha hoon ki meri beti ab badi ho chuki hain...Aur uske baare mein toh mujhe kisi aur se hi pata lagaana pad raha hain...(and looks at Prerna)

K:(bites her lip)Woh Papa....

An:Khair...Koi baat nahin...Waise Laksh,tumhare maa-baap kya karte hain..?

L:Well..My father is a businessman...His name is Sahil Virani...Aur meri Mom housewife hain..Ganga Virani naam hain unka...

An:Beta..Kya naam bataaya tumne apne Papa ke...?

L:Err...Sahil Virani...

An:Sahil !!Arre woh toh college mein mera sabse acha dosth tha...Yaad hain Prerna..Jab main Mumbai ke college mein padhtha tha..

Pr:Haan...Mujhe yaad hain Anurag...

An:Haan...But it was so many years ago...And we lost our contact due to our busy life...Laksh,Tum ek hi beta ho kya..?

L:(smiles)Nahin toh...I have one younger sister,Archita...

An:Ok....Tum zaroor Sahil se mere baat karwaana...

Kt was really happy hearing all these...But she couldn't express this in front of everyone...Anurag asked everyone of Kt's friends about their family when Laksh's mobile started to ring....It was his Dad Sahil...

L:Hello Papa....Kaise hai aap..?

Sa:Main teek hoon beta...Wahan par sab log kaise hain..?

L:Sab log teek hain...Papa, main aapko kisise baat karwaata hoon..

Sa:Kis se beta..?

L:Kt ke Papa se..

And Laksh gave the phone to Anurag...

An:Hello Sahil...Pehchana mujhe dosth...?

Sa:Arre Anurag..Tum!!

An:Arre tumne toh meri aawaz sunte hi pehchaan liya...

Sa:Main tumhe kaise bhool sakta hoon yaar....Kaise ho tum...?

An:Main teek hoon...Tum kaise ho..?

Sa:Fine...Kt tumhari beti hain...?Bahut hi pyaari bachi hain...

An:Laksh bhi toh bahut hi smart hain...Kyun na hum un donon ki shaadi karwaade...?

Laksh was shocked and surprised beyond limits hearing this....He looked at Kt...Kt nodded her head to him with a wide smile...He understood that she had told everything to her parents...

Sa:Kyun nahin dosth...Hum log bhi yahin chahthe hain...Woh log bhi toh ek doosre se pyaar karte hain...Did they tell you about it..?

An:Haan...Kt told about it to Prerna and she told me...I was thinking that why should we go against our daugter's wish and told YES for the marriage...And after that only I got to know that Laksh is your son...Aur mujhe ithni khushi huyi thi ki main kya bataaoon yaar... I am so happy that my daughter chose your son....(and smiles at Laksh who smiled back)

Sa:Main bhi bahut khush hoon Anurag....Teek hain tum Laksh ko phone do...

A:Teek hain..Ye lo Laksh..

L:(smiling)Haan Papa...

Sa:Ab khush hain na tu...?

L:Bahut khush...(laughs)

Sa:Teek hain main phone rakhta hoon..Byee..Take care..

L:Bye Papa....Love you...

After Laksh disconnected the call,Kt rose from her chair and hugged Anurag....

K:Thank you Papa....

A:(smiles)Love you beta(then to Laksh and Kt )Par tum log apne padhaai par dhyaan rakhna...College ke baad hum, tum donon ki shaadi karwaadenge...Kyun Laksh..?

L:Jee Uncle...(smiles)

A:Uncle nahin..Papa...(smiles)

L:(smiles)Jee Papa...

Sneha,Prachi,Neev and Manthan were also really happy and they all hugged and congratulated Laksh and Kt.....And they all thanked Kt's parents for giving the consent for the marriage...
