PART 34

{{RECAP:Party going on in SN…Laksh rescues Kt from Rakesh…Laksh and Kt win in a game...

And Laksh swept Kt off her feet and turned on the spot with joy.......Kt was laughing......Then he put her down....Ishita was looking at them with lot of jealousy in her eyes.......

S:(whispers to Prachi)look at Ishita....Mujhe lagta hain ki Kt se usse bahut jalan ho rahi hain..
P:Haan Sneha...you are right...

Laksh put Kt down and both of them were laughing....

Na:(clapping his hands)And the winners of this game are Laksh Virani and Krishnatulsi Basu.....And I request Karan chachu to come and present them this prizes..

Karan came forward and gave the prizes to them....They thanked him....

Na:Now its time for the final dance number by Nakul Virani,(laughs )that's me and group......

Sneha and Prachi went to the music system and they put on the song "Maahi ve....." from kal ho na ho film....

At first during the starting of the song.....Nakul,Laksh and Joydeep were on the stage performing for the lines sung by male voice.....(as the lyrics are describing the bride ie, our Bhoomi)

Then after that Archita and Pari came up the stage leading Bhoomi to the stage centre and Archita and Pari also joined in the dance....After that Bhoomi dances for the lines "Barse rangini kaliyaa hain mehki bheeni bheeni baje mann halke halke shehnaai re..jitne hain taaren aanchal mein aagaye saare dil ne jaise hi lee angdaayi re"...then Nakul,Laksh and Joydeep dances for "Hey tu jo aayi sajke mehndi rachke chal bachke o soniye, dil kitno ka khaye dhajke tu soniye..."

And thus the dance went on...

Meanwhile, Ishita approached Kt....

I:Err.....Kt....
K:Kya baat hain Ishita...?
I:Can you lead me to your room please..You are staying here, right...?
K:Haan...Par kya baat hain..?
I:Mujhe bathroom jaana hain...
K:Kyun nahin...Aao na tum mere saath...

Kt and Ishita walked up the stairs....Prachi and Sneha noticed this...

P:Kt ke saath woh Ishita kahan jaa rahi hain ...?
S:Main jaakar dekhti hoon..Tum yahin par ruko aur time par music off karo...

Sneha followed Kt and Ishita in such a way that they won't see her...Kt led Ishita to her room and left the door half closed...Sneha quietly went and peeped into the room...

K:This is my room...And bathroom is there...(shows it to Ishita)
I:Kt,just hold my bag and I will get it from you when I am back...(gives her bag to Kt)
K:Ok...

Ishita went inside the bathroom....

I:(to herself)Ab main uss Kt ko dikhati hoon ki Ishita kya cheez hain...(smiles wickedly)

Then she opens her closed palm and there was a golden bracelet inside her fist.....She comes out of the bathroom quitely and saw that Kt was not looking at her direction...She opened dressing table drawer in that room and put the bracelet inside and slid it back....Sneha who was watching all this was shocked......

I:Kt...
K:(turns back)Chale Ishita..?
I:Haan...(goes to Kt)
K:Yeh lo tumhare bag...(gives it to Ishita)

Ishita and Kt came out and Sneha hid behind a wall.....When they went downstairs,Sneha went inside Kt's room and opened the dressing table and took out the golden bracelet...She decided to hide it in her room and went and hid it there....Then she came downstairs and joined Prachi...Kt and Ishita didn't see her coming downstairs as they were watching the dance....Sneha told Prachi everything and she was also shocked hearing Ishita's plan...And then the dance got over and everybody clapped their hands...

Na:That's the end of our programme and now its time for dinner......

Laksh came to Kt and Ishita.....

I:Dance bahut acha tha Laksh...
L:(smiles)Thank you...
L:Acha Kt...
K:Haan Laksh..?

Ishita opens her bag and acts as if she was searching for something...

I:(acts as if shocked)Oh no!!My bracelet....Kahan gayi meri bracelet...?!!
L:Kya baat hain Ishita...?
I:Meri bracelet kahin kho gayi...I think I put it in this bag...
L:Acha...?Laao, mujhe bag do..Main dekhta hoon...

And he checked the bag fully and didn't get the bracelet....

I:(turns to Kt)Arre haan Kt..Maine tumhe yeh bag di thi na....You should know where my bracelet is...!
K:(shocked)Kya keh rahi ho tum..?Maine...!!
I:(angrily)Haan...Haan tumne....I think tumne woh bracelet tumhare room mein hi chupaayi hogi...Main jaakar dekhti hoon....(walks away)
L:(stops her)Ruko Ishita...Kya bakwaas kar rahi ho tum...?!!Kt ne tumhari bracelet...!!
K:(shaking voice)Laksh, don't stop her...Let her go and check in my room...
I:Haan Laksh...

Ishita walked up the staircase and Laksh and Chitra also followed her....

L:Ishita, I think tumhare haath se woh bracelet kahin gir gayi hogi...
I:Shaayad...But let me check first in her room...(and she went and opened Kt's room)

Ishita and Chitra acted as if checking under the beds, Kt's suitcase and bags, cupboards etc...Laksh was feeling really awkward by her behaviour and he was losing his patience....Then Ishita headed for the dressing table and happily opened the drawer...But Alas!!She couldn't find the bracelet which she had put there....She was shocked....And she searched the drawer fully again and again and she couldn't find it anywhere....She thought "Oh God!!Maine yahan par hi toh rakhi thi....Phir kahan gayi woh..?"

By that time Sneha had gone to her room and took the bracelet from there...She came to Kt's room and showed the bracelet to Ishita....Ishita was surprised to see it in her hand...

S:Ishita, kya yehi hain tumhari bracelet...?
I:(feeling relieved)Haan...Kahan se mili yeh tumko..?
S:Yeh toh wahan dancefloor mein neechein gir padi thi...
L:(feeling relieved, angrily to Ishita)Maine kahan tha na tumse....Itni badi scene create karne ki kya zaroorat thi...?!!Tumhe apne cheezein sambhaalne nahin aati toh, doosron ko doshi tehlaane ki koshish kyun karti ho..?I didn't expect this from you Ishita...!!(and walks out of the room)

When Ishita and Chitra was about to move out of the room feeling embarrased...

S:Ruko Ishita...

Ishita stopped walking and turned back to Sneha....Sneha walked to her..

S:Maine Laksh se yeh nahin bataayi ki yeh bracelet tumne hi yahan par chupaayi thi..Kya mili tumhe yeh sab karke...?I didn't tell the truth to him because I didn't want to spoil your friendship...(and walks away from her towards the door and stopped there)Aur haan...Ayenda se tum, aise koi harkat karne se pehle do baar soch lena...(and walks out)

The party was over...Even though Laksh had told everyone that Kt was innocent, Kt was feeling very much hurt by Ishita's accusation....She had her dinner quickly and quietly ,and went upstairs even before all the guests went home...Her friends, Laksh and the other Virani youngsters had tried to make her happy by comforting her and telling so many jokes but she was still silent during the dinner....

Laksh was lying on his bed and he couldn't sleep thinking about poor Kt....He decided that he should go and console her...He got up and went and knocked her door...She didn't open the door....Then he tried the doorknob and he could open the door....He walked inside her room and found her deeply asleep in her bed.....The moonlight was shining on her face and she was looking very beautiful...Laksh went and sat beside her...He touched her head and ran his fingers through her soft hair....Then he bent his head and kissed her forehead.....Then he got up and pulled up the blanket and covered her body....He turned and was about to walk away when she caught his hand...

K:(mumbles in sleep)Laksh...Mujhe chodke mat jaao....
L:(sits near her and holds her hand with his both hands )Kabhi nahin Kt....Main humesha tumhare saath rahoonga...(and kisses her hand)

K:(opens her eyes)Laksh....Tum yahan..?Kab aaye tum..?(and tries to get up)
L:(makes her lie down)Utho mat Kt...Tum so jaao...Main bas tumse milne aaya tha...Aur jab maine dekha ki tum so rahi ho, toh maine socha ki tumhe disturb na kare...Main yahan se jaane hi waala tha aur tumne mere haath pakdi...Aur kahan ki "Laksh mujhe chodke mat jaao..."

K:Haan..Woh main tumahara hi sapna dekh rahi thi....Waise kya kehne keliye aaye the tum..?
L:Mujhe laga ki tum bahut udaas thi aaj...Main tumse Ishita ki taraf se maafi maangta hoon..I couldn't even sleep thinking about you.....(and touches her cheek)
K:(touches his hand on her cheek and kisses it)Laksh tum kyun maafi maang rahe ho..?Tumne hi aake sabse kaha na ki main innocent hoon...
L:Toh phir kya baat hain Kt....?(and touches her head)Tum itni udaas kyun thi...?
K:Uss waqt mujhe bahut bura laga...Ab main teek hoon...Tum jaakar so jaao Laksh...Raat bahut ho chuki hain..(smiles)
L:Teek hain sweetheart....(and kisses her cheek)Goodnight...
K:(smiles)Goodnight Laksh........

Laksh walked out of the room and Kt smiled watching him go....
