PART 32

{{RECAP:Laksh and the others plan some games, music and dance for the party.....Kt dressed in the green salwar which Laksh had gifted her...Laksh helps her to comb her hair in his room when Bhoomi comes and interrupts..}}

And Laksh and Kt walked downstairs with Bhoomi......Only some guests had arrived by that time...They saw Neev,Manthan,Sneha and Prachi at one corner and walked up to them...Bhoomi went towards Nakul and Joydeep who were doing the arrangements with the music system..

Sneha was looking pretty in a purple colour skirt with matching blue and purple top(gifted to her by Manthan)...and Prachi was wearing a blue colour salwaar kameez (gifted to her by Neev).....

S:Arre Kt..Tu toh badi sundar lag rahi hain is dress mein....Kya yeh Laksh ka pyaar ka nikhaar hain....?
K:Kya Sneha......Tum bhi na...
P:Sneha teek keh rahi hain Kt...You look really beautiful today...
L:Kyun nahin sundar lagoge..Aakhir yeh dress maine usse gift ki hain...!

Suddenly some girls and boys came to Laksh....

L:Arre.....Hiiiiiii......I was thinking why you people haven't reached till now....(then to Neev and the others)Meet my school friends.....Chitra,Vinod,Ishita,Uday,Rakesh,Zayed and Harshita.......

All of them greeted each other....

L:(to his school friends)And these are my college friends....Meet Neev,Prachi,Sneha,Manthan and Kt.......

Ishita:(nudging Laksh)Waise Laksh..Tum aaj bahut handsome lag rahe ho..
L:Handsome toh main hoon hi...(smiles)
I:Nahin...Aaj toh tum kuch zyaada hi handsome lag rahe ho....Sachmuch...(looks into Laksh's eyes)

Kt didn't like the way she was looking into his eyes...

L:(smiles at Ishita)Waise Rakesh,Uday...Tum sab log kaise ho yaar..?
U:Kya kahoon Laksh...Our school days were more nicer than college life...Kya fun tha...!!
R:Haan yaar...We miss you guys....
L:(to Neev and the others)Rakesh and Uday are in the same college...But Zyed, Ishita, Chitra are in another college and Harshita and Vinod are in yet another college....We all went in different ways after our schooling.....So I invited them for the party so that we all can meet again......

Chitra:Laksh....Harshita and Vinod are in love.....
L:Kya ??!
H:Kya Chitra...(shyly)
L:Sharmaao mat Harshita...Aur Vinod, tumne kabhi bataaya nahin is baare mein....
V:Arre yaar...Kaise bataata...?College ka workload itna tha ki tum ko phone karne ki fursat hi nahin mili..
L:Khair..Chodo..Chitra tumhe kisise pyaar nahin hua...?
C:Nahin toh...Koi mila nahin abhi tak...
L:Aur Ishita tum?
I:Main...?(blushes)
C:Usse kisi aur se pyaar kaise ho sakta hain...?
L:Kya matlab..?
C:Kyun ki woh toh tum par marti hain....Humare schooling ke time se....
L:(laughs)Tum bhi na Chitra...

Laskh took it as a joke but Kt understood that Chitra was telling the truth.....

K:(nudging Sneha and whispers)Sneha...Dekho woh kis tarah se mere Laksh ko ghoor ghoor ke dekh rahin hain...
S:(whispers back)Haan..dekh rahi hoon...

I:Yaad hain Laksh...?Tumne mujhse shaadi karne ka waada kiya tha....
L:(naughtily)Haan...Haan...Shaadi toh main tumse hi karoonga....(laughs)

K:(whispers)Haan..??!!Sneha suna tumne...?
S:(whispers back)Jaa Kt...Laksh toh mazaak kar raha hain...
K:(whispers)Woh toh hain...Par phir bhi...!

Suddenly they heard an announcement...It was Nakul on the stage with the mic.....

Na:Ladies and Gentlemen.......Aap sab logon ko pata honge ki teen din mein humari Bhoomi, yani Karan Chachui ki beti ki shaadi hone waali hain.....Aur is khushi mein yeh party rakha gaya hain..Main Bhoomi ko aur uske would be husband ko yahaan par bulaana chaahta hoon....Aur Karan Chachu ko bhi..

Karan walked up to the stage with Bhoomi and her would be husband....

K:Arre Bhoomi didi didn't tell us he was also coming for the party...
P:I think she wanted to surprise us....
S:He is handsome na...Really made for each other couple..!

K:(in the mic)Yeh hain meri beti Bhoomi aur yeh hain Akash Joshi....He is the son of Mr.Sudhakar Joshi who is the owner of the Joshi group of industries.....Thank you one and all for coming here....Enjoy the party!!(smiles)

Karan, Bhoomi and Akash walked away...

Na:Now its time for a welcome dance by our younger brother Laksh and his friends....I request Neev Shergill and group to come and perform the dance......

Nakul moved away and went to the music system.....Laksh's other friends cheered for him...Laksh-Kt,Neev-Prachi and Manthan-Sneha took their positions on the stage...Nakul put on the music and the song "Dupatta tere nau rang da" began to play......Kt and Laksh were really enjoying dancing with each other....The co-ordinations between the three pairs were so perfect and the audience really enjoyed the dance.....

Kt looked at Ishita's face while she was so closer to Laksh during a particular dance step....When she saw Ishita's jealous face she felt really satisfied inside......And there was one particular line in the song were Laksh was singing to her "Mehndi tu gore gore haathon pe rachaale...roop salona tera sona changda...." and he took her hand and kissed it romantically...(Neev and Manthan were also doing so to Prachi and Sneha respectively as it was in their dance choreography....)Ishita's face was really fuming with hatred for Kt....She had her eyes only for Kt and Laksh....Kt thought "Abhi toh us Ishita ko yakeen ho gaya hoga ki main aur Laksh ek doosre se bahut pyaar karte hain..."

The dance was over and they all came back to the place where Laksh's friends were standing...Everybody except Chitra and Ishita said to them that their dance was nice.....Laksh thanked them all....But Ishita was still glowering at Kt and Kt looked back with equal curiosity at her..

Nakul came to the stage again.....He took the mic...

Na:Now its time for a game....Its for all those people who are married.....Yes, its a competition for the couples....Now all those couples who wish to participate can come forward.....

10 couples came forward...Karan-Nandini,Gautam-Damini,Sahil-Ganga and Mihir-Tulsi were also among them.....

Na:Ok so our first round is the "Favourites" round.....All the women come to the right side and all the men come to the left side of the stage......

They all did as he told....

Na:Ok...Archita will come with a bowl to all of you and each of you should pick up a chit...In each chit there will be a question like "Which is your wife's/husband's favourite colour?" or "Which is your wife's or husband's favourite place?" etc etc....And you should write your answer in the chit without telling it aloud...Then I will come to you and take the chit and read your answer aloud.....Ok Archita come with the bowl...

Archita came to the stage with the bowl and everybody took a chit each...Then they wrote their answers in the chit with the pens given to them....

After that Nakul walked to Mihir...He took the chit from Mihir...

Na:The question is "What is your wife's favourite sweet ?"Dadi kya hain aapki favourite..?
T:Meri favourite toh son papadi hain...
Na:And Mihir dadu's answer is right....He has written son papadi.....

Everybody clapped their hands....Nakul moved to Tulsi and took her chit...

Na:The question is "What is your husband's favourite colour"...Kya hain dadu aapki favourite?
Mi:White...
Na:And her answer is right.....

Every body clapped their hands again...Then he moved to Damini and took the chit from her....

Na:The question is "Who is your husband's favourite actress? "...Kaun hain Papa?
Gt:Hmmm......Madhuri Dixit....
Na:Maa, your answer is right.....

Everybody clapped and then he moved to Gautam and took the chit from him...

Na:The question is "Who is your wife's favourite actor? "...Kaun hain Maa?
D:Its Aamir Khan....
Na:Sorry Papa, your answer is wrong....He has written Shah Rukh Khan...And I am sorry to say that you both are out of the first round...

Damini and Gautam walked down from the stage...On the way..

Da:(whispers)Kya Gautam...Tumhe yeh bhi nahin pata...?
Gt:Sorry Damini....I was a bit confused between Aamir and SRK....Par maine end mein decide kiya ki main Shahrukh likhoonga...

The first round of the game went on and only four couples were selected for the second round...They were Tulsi-Mihir,Nandini-Karan,Ganga-Sahil and another couple...

L:(nudged Kt)Kya tumhe pata hain ki meri favourite colour kaunsa hain...?
K:Haan....Green....
L:Wow!!How did you know...?
K:Tumne abhi tak mujhe jo kuch bhi khareedke diye sab green rang ki toh hain..And do you know what is my favourite colour?
L:Haan....Blue....
K:Hmmmm....right(smiles)

Na:And now the next round is the "Dance Dance" round...Each couple will be called to come to the middle of the stage and some music will be played...Two couples will be selected for the final round who dance well with each other.....I first call upon Sahil Chachu and Ganga Chachi to the middle..Joydeep put on the music...

Sahil and Ganga came over to the middle and Joydeep put on the music....They danced for one minute...Joydeep put off the music…

Na:Ok...Now your time is up...Come back to your places...Next is Karan Chachu and Nandini Chachi...

And thus the second round went on and Tulsi-Mihir and the other couple also danced....

Na:Now we are moving upon to the third round....The two couples which are selected for this round are Sahil Virani-Ganga Virani and Karan Virani-Nandini Virani......
