Part 17:

Everyone where keeping a check on their patients. The 4 patients with minor injuries were almost recovering. Rahul and Muskaan had to do an operation because 1 person had got 1 piece of glass inside their head. The operation got successful. As for the pregnant lady, she was normal but Armaan had Ridhima had to keep a check because they feared the delivery may come soon. So they both decide to stay at the hospital, studying the case. Everyone went home after a ver difficult day while Armaan and Ridhima were checking the patient.
Ridhima: So how are you?
Patient: I'm fine, Thanks to you.
Ridhima: Your welcome, And how's the baby?
Patient: The baby's fine.
Ridhima: Your chart explains your very good. Baby's health is fine.
Patient: Oww!
Ridhima: You're Ok.
Patient: The baby wants to come out. He's kicking. See.
Ridhima: No it's Ok.
Patient: You've saved me and my baby. I owe you.
Ridhima: ok

The lady took Ridhima's hand and kept it on her stomach. Ridhima was very happy, she was feeling the kicks the mother was getting from the baby. Armaan was passing by and saw Ridhima, he suddenly felt his feet taking him towards her and soon he was in the room.
Armaan: How are you ladies today?
Patient: I'm fine Doctor.
Armaan: And you Dr. Ridhima?
Ridhima: Perfect.
Armaan: Let's see. Bp is great! Health is good. You can rest now. We'll come after an hour for your check up.
Ridhima: Bye!

They went to the cafe to freshen themselves up. They sat.
Armaan: So what were you doing there?
Ridhima: Checking
Armaan: Checking?
Ridhima: Ya.
Armaan: And?
Ridhima: Feeling the baby.
Armaan: So, how was it?
Ridhima: What do you mean by how was it?
Armaan: The baby was kicking no?
Ridhima: Ya, cho chweet!

Armaan: Shit!

Passing through the corridors almost running.
Ridhima: Nurse Lovely, Contact Dr.Keerti to come now.
Nurse Lovely: Yes.
Armaan: Ridhima, come on.

They entered the room, finding the patient in a very bad state.
Armaan: Ridhima, we need to do an operation.
Ridhima: But..
Armaan: Now! Go see if any senior doctor is there who can help us. We can't wait for Dr.Keerti.
Ridhima: I'm coming.

Ridhima ran through the corridors, no senior doctor was there to help her. She ran into many cabins but found one occupied.
Ridhima: Dr.Pallavi?
Pallavi: Yes?
Ridhima: We need help! The patient's ready for delivery!
Pallavi: What?
Ridhima: Please Ma'am.
Pallavi: Ridhima, Calm down. You and Armaan do the Operation. I'm a neurologist.
Ridhima: But..
Pallavi: You've got to do it. I'll be there for you in the O.T.
Ridhima: But..
Pallavi: Now, run. Get the O.T. prepared. I'm coming. You and Dr. Armaan get ready.
Ridhima: Yes Ma'am.

Again running through the corridors, she reached the patients room.
Ridhima: Nurse, Gte the O.T. prepared please. Quick!
Nurse: Yes Ma'am.
Armaan: Who's doing the operation?
Ridhima: We.
Armaan: We?
Ridhima: Yes. Wardboy's take her to the O.T.
Armaan: But Ridhima...
Ridhima: We don't have time.We've got to do it.
Armaan: You sure?
Ridhima: Kind of.
Armaan: Then come on.

Armaan and Ridhima hurried towards the O.T. . Ridhima stopped in middle.
Ridhima: Armaan, go I'm coming!
Armaan: Quick!

Ridhima went to the little temple made in Sanjeevani.
Ridhima: God, Please, I need your help. Give me and Armaan enough strenght to do the operation. Please God.

Pallavi was passing by and saw Ridima praying.
She's just the same, showing herself very strong but inside she needs the strenght to do the thing she has to do.The same innocence while praying.

Ridhima finished and hurried to the O.T. followed by Dr. Pallavi. Armaan was ready, Ridhima was almost and Pallavi was sitting outside(from where you see what's happening inside).
The operation started. The lady had some complications but both were determined to save her and her baby. The operation was normal.
Ridhima: Mrs Mehta, I want you to take long breathes and push.
Mrs Mehta: Dr.
Ridhima: Push!
Armaan: The baby's little out. She needs to push more.
Ridhima: Come on, Mrs Mehta, Push!
Mrs Mehta: Aaaaa!
Ridhima: Last one, Plzz Push!
Armaan: Its out.Ridhima we've done it. The baby's out!
Ridhima: Nurse, take the baby. Let's see Mrs Mehta. She's fine, Bp's normal. Shift her to her room. I'll get the baby in a while.
Mrs Mehta: Thank you Doctor.

Mrs Mehta was perfectly fine, after the operation, Ridhima and Armaan were washing their hands.
Ridhima: Congratulations Dr.Armaan.
Armaan: You too, Dr Ridhima.
Pallavi: Congratulations.

Pallavi came and hugged them both. Armaan and Ridhima were surprised. She left saying a Bye and congratulating them once agin. Dr.Keerti came and checked Mrs Mehta and the baby. She came:
Dr.keerti: Congratulations, I know I was late. Very good. It will affect on your Intern of the Month points.There's still a thing left to do.
Armaan: What Dr.Keerti?
Dr: Keerti: It's a ritual that the doctor gives the baby to their mother. You two, take the baby and give it to Mrs Mehta. And Congratulations.
Armaan & Ridhima: Thank you Ma'am.

Armaan and Ridhima went to the baby's ward. Ridhima took the baby and both headed towards Mrs Mehta's room. In the corridor.
Ridhima: Armaan, babies are so cute no?
Armaan: Ya.
Ridhima: Just touch her, an angel in disguise. I wish get a baby like this.
Armaan: You will.
Ridhima: How do you know?
Armaan: Everyone gets a baby.
Ridhima: Let's see.

They entered the room and gave the baby to their mother. Afterwards taking permission from Dr.Keerti they went home. Entering the house, congratulating eachother both went to their rooms to get a good sleep.
Next morning, the house was welcomed from the biggest loud music Armaan and Ridhima heard. Both tried to put pillows on their ears but no use. Armaan and Ridhima ran down to find everyone, not everyone but everything...........
