Chapter 1
Her eyes were burning with tears and, she was feeling that grumpy, nauseous feeling again.Her head ached as she let the tears flow down her cheeks.
"Ar.."she sobbed aloud, breathing unevenly, almost panting.She had been unwell since last few hours, and instead of understanding her state, he just rounded on her for almost nothing.She felt miserable, totally broken.She wanted him to hug her, caress her, talk about their baby, but, it was strange that he wasn't even bothered about her today.Instead, he wantonly, shouted at her, and it was perhaps, the first time during her 6-month old pregnancy, he was doing so.She was already quite gloomy and the stirring sickness inside her stomach was worsening it.She suddenly, felt unwanted, uncared - as if she had become a burden on him, an unpleasant liability, which he wanted to get rid of.She sobbed louder.She didn't know when she fell asleep, in that uncomfortable sitting position of hers, but when she opened her eyes, she wanted him to be besides her, which was, alas, not possible as of now!She stooped slowly, holding the bed and walked over to the side table.She took out an album and glanced it, with utmost nostalgia, love and warmth. 
The first page, had Armaan's tiny, petite handwriting scribbled over it. "Love is the most beautiful feeling of the world and bringing a new life with your love, is more than just a feeling, its a sacred ritual.I'm glad to have Riddhima besides me, and even glad to have our first joint possession, our angel...our baby,waiting to fill our lives with all the happiness of the world .Thank you Riddhima!"A smile crept her lips as she read the note, despite the freshly formed tears.She caressed her stomach and mentally, told tha baby..."we are lucky to have your papa with us baby..."As she flipped the pages, more nostalgia filled her heart.She began to remember every moment that they cherished together. She smiled at the picture showing Armaan yelling with his mouth open wide, and she in his arms, blushing and nervous.It was the day, when they came to know of the good news.Armaan had been over the moon, to know that he was going to be a father.The second photograph showed her face burried in his chest and he his hand up in air, pleading Rahul not to capture the moment.Armaan had been so worried, when she had collapsed in the Cancer Ward that day after retching.By mistake, she cried in front of him, due to uneasinesss.It was nothing serious, but he didn't leave her side even for a minute,and the melodrama continued for a week.And the fight he and Rahul had for clicking her picture when she was in tears!Ah, it shouldn't be talked about!
She smiled as she began drowning into the deep sea of memories.Then there was the picture showing Armaan on a shopping spree for the baby girl, grinning sheepishly on being scolded for wasting money...Then there was one when she had felt the baby kicking for the first time.Armaan would again and again ear her tummy..."Ab baby kya kar raha hai..."and she would have to reply rudely..."Baby papa se bore o kar so gaya hai...Armaan stop it now..get a life..."She felt relieved and refreshed, remembering their moments of togetherness.Then there was a snap, of Riddhima knitting a sweater for the baby and Armaan wrapped up in the wool, looking like a mummy, sitting on the floor, with her head on her lap...He was just..."Huh...?""Riddhima...?Khana kha lo..?Subah se bhookhi ho.." He sat behind her, caressing her hair lovingly.She waited her tears to stop for a while.She wasn't angry on him or upset now, but she needed a few seconds of silence."Riddhima...I know, I was rude and...I didn't mean anything ...I am really sorry for being a moron...it was my mistake...I should've thought that...you were nauseous and..phir bhi, I was bent on making you drink the milk...aur...maine tumhe bahut kuch keh diya...bina soche samjhe...Shona...I'm..." Before he could say anything, he was pulled into a rib-crashing hug!
He engulfed her into an even protective hug."I sorry..."He placed his lips gently upon hers and the world went dizzy for the two of them..."Bahut upset thi...?Royi thi meri wajah se?" He said, cupping her face."No..keval isiliye bura laga ki tumne kaha ki I don't nee ...need the baby...please don't ever say this again...it hurts..."There were tears in her eyes..."I'm extremely sorry Shona...I know I'm a moron...an ..an idiot.."He said, trying to make her smile."I knew it from day one...you needn't repeat it every time I cry..."She chuckled."Accha toh..." Before he could reply, Atul ans anjali's 5 year old daugter, Tulika came running.."Chachu..chachi..dinner's ready...chalo na...bhookhi lagi.."She said, landing on Armaan's lap."Okie..sweetheart...chalo.."He kissed her cheeks.Riddhima caressed her hair."Chachu ek baat poochun??.."She asked, as Armaan made her sit on the bed, now supporting Riddhima, making her stand up..
"Poochiye jee..."Riddhima asked."Chachi aapka baby toh January mein hoga...Chachu ka kab hoga...?"She asked innocently, placing her hand on Armaan's tummy, which had grown up quite a bit.Riddhima, fell on the bed, laughing like a gona case and Armaan stood rooted in shock! Tulika had gone, but he was still tone-eyed..Armaan, actually, had stopped working out for two reasons, firstly, as he wanted to devote his time to Riddhima's care and secondly, he didn't want her to feel complexed, due to her growing size. Consequesntly, he was giving a stiff competition to her and yet, looking hot!
Riddhima hugged him by his waist and kissed his stomch..."I love you Armaan..."Her eyes were moist after laughing really hard.He smiled and hugged her back..."Not more than I do sweetheart!" Aww....so sweet & cute......Awesome story...It's very interesting & enjoyable in reading...the little girl part was hilarious but it definitely so sweet & care of him....I like it...
