Chapter 45

             The sun begins to play upon the eyelids of two extremely happy couples. They couples seem to be cozied up in their own hotel rooms, which are right beside each other's. Then moments later the girl in each room, wakes up screaming upon seeing their boyfriends face. All that is audible in both rooms is Mukti and Aaliya screaming, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Mukti is screaming on top of her lungs, which causes Prem to wake up with a start asking, "Mukti stop screaming… OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM… WAIT THIS ISN'T MY ROOM!! WHERE ARE WE? OMG WHERE ARE MY PANTS? DID WE…" Mukti looks absolutely horrified and breaks down holding her head in her hands, noticing she is only wearing her undergarments. Prem sees Mukti crying and comes towards her to console her, but Mukti screams, "PREM DON'T TOUCH ME!!" as Mukti swats away Prem's arm she notices something on her finger… it is a ring. Her eyes grow wide in shock as the sudden realization comes upon her, she finally comprehends, "We got married?... we got married last night!" Prem looks at her confused and notices his own ring on his third finger as well. Then comes the headache from both their hangovers and it all seems to make sense. Mukti says, "We were drunk…AND WE GOT MARRIED!!" Mukti breaks into sobs again saying, "I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER MY OWN WEDDING!!!" Prem looks stunned as it is starting to sink in, he sees Mukti crying again and pulls her into a hug saying, "Shhhh baby it doesn't matter, look I still love you, it's okay just calm down! It was gonna happen one day, granted I would have liked us to be in our senses and have our family and friends there, but that's alright. Mukti you are okay with this right?" Mukti nods as Prem wipes her tears. Prem says, "Okay lets go get ready to leave" Prem gets off the bed as Mukti holds his hand asking, "Did we umm… you know?" Prem gets a naughty smile on his face and he whispers, "I think we did…" Mukti starts crying again saying, "But I don't remember!!!" Prem laughs and hugs her whispering, "Sweetheart your mine now! We have our whole lives together… it's okay we can pretend we didn't! " Mukti laughs and gets up to get ready to leave.

As soon as Aaliya noticed a shirtless Josh, she starts screaming like crazy. Aaliya jumps up in bed and pushes Josh off the bed. Josh falls and notices it is Aaliya who pushed him off. He yells agitated because of his hangover, "Aaliya what the hell man! …AALIYA?? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? WHY WAS I IN BED WITH YOU?? WHY AM I WEARING ONLY BOXERS?? MORE IMPORTANTLY WHY DON'T I REMEMBER ANYTHING??" Aaliya raises her finger to Josh and starts yelling, "JOSH I WAS DRUNK!! HOW COULD OU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME!!!" Josh notices the ring on her finger as her finger pokes into his chest threateningly. Josh gasps in horror, "Aali why is there a ring on your ring finger?" Aaliya looks confusedly at Josh and then at her own hand as images appear before her eyes. Aaliya looks at Josh and sees he looks like he has remembered as well. Aaliya says burying her head in his chest, "Oh Josh what did we do?? I love you, but I didn't want to get married like this…" Josh replies, "Aali it's okay! I love you and that's what matters! I was gonna ask you to marry me soon anyways so it's alright!" Josh and Aaliya look towards each other as they remember why they left the club. They both yell together, "IT'S PREM AND MUKTI'S FAULT!!!" They quickly throw on their clothes and head out the door, and guess who they crash into… PREM AND MUKTI.

FLASHBACK

Prem and Mukti head out the club, followed by Josh and Aaliya. Josh and Aaliya approach Prem and Mukti asking, "Guys where are you going?" Prem and Mukti gigglingly respond, "We are going to get married right now, wanna come?"  Josh and Aaliya nod their heads and get into a car, driving off to a mandir. Well the pandit didn't seem to notice Prem and Mukti are drunk because he has a stuffy nose and apparently is practically blind as well. So anyways he starts the ceremony and finishes with a very chirpy Prem and Mukti. Then Josh and Aaliya go up to the pandit and ask, "Can you marry us too?" The pandit nods and performs the ceremony again. But this isn't all… not only are they drunk, but they happen to be very intelligent drunks meaning right after going to the mandir, they go to court and OFFICIALLY get married, legal documents and all! Who would have thought, but then again there are four of them, surely one had to remember it's not official yet and this brainiac happens to be PREM! Then after officially becoming man and wife, the two couples checked into a ravishing hotel to spend their nuptial night together… too bad they can barely remember!

END OF FLASHBACK

It's actually still quite early in the morning, about six o'clock. So now, both couples are arguing over the details of the marriage, trying to piece together the previous night's events. They have little clues like the sindoor, the rings, the marriage certificates, the mangalsutra, and their random memory flashes of the entire night. After they have established how the evening occurred, they seem to be more interested in arguing about how to tell their friends and family they just happened to get really wasted and married.

About an hour later, Josh and Aaliya stand in front of the Khanna House and Prem and Mukti in front of the Sharma House. Angad comes down stairs and sees Josh and Aaliya in front of him, he says, "Josh man yahan kya kare ho, andar aao… Aaliya why do you have sindoor in your… OH MY GOD!!! NNN...NE...NEEV!! AAA…AN…ANJU!!!" Anjali and Neev run downstairs and see Josh and Aaliya with wedding rings and Aaliya has sindoor and a mangulsutra around her neck. Anjali and Neev scream, "OH MY GOD!!! YOU GUYS GOT MARRIED!!! …WITHOUT US?" Josh rubs the back of his neck awkwardly while Aaliya fidgets with her hands as Josh says, "Umm…yea!" Angad, Anjali, and Neev yank them into the living room and bombard them with questions as Josh and Aaliya awkwardly reply. Angad yells to Josh, "WHAT THE HELL MAN?? WHAT HAPPENED TO (mimicking Josh) today is your FINAL day of freedom, your last breath of free air, your last night as a bachelour… YOU MADE IT SOUND SO HORRIBLE AND YOU GET MARRIED YOURSELF?? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!!" Aaliya smacks Josh for saying all that about marriage to Angad. Josh gets up and starts apologizing, "Angad yaar I'm sorry… what can I do to make it up to you, I will do anything?" Angad cocks his eyebrow and repeats, "Anything?" Josh assures him, "Angad anything!" Angad turns to Neev and Anjali smirking, then back to Josh and Aaliya simply stating, "Okay well buddy TODAY YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED WITH US!!" Josh and Aaliya look at each other shocked and say, "But we already…" Neev interrtupts, "Dude you said anything!!" Anjali decides to make them feel guilty by sobbing on Neev, "I wanted to see you guys get married aaliya!! You can't take that right away from me!!" Josh and Aaliya sigh and run out the door yelling, "FINE!! BUT YOU HAVE TO TELL OUR PARENTS!! WE HAVE TO GO SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES!! SEE YA!!" Angad, Anjali, and Neev laugh and go inform their parents about the change in plans.

In the Sharma House, Kavya opens the door sleepily without looking at them he asks, "Prem, Mukti it's 7 in the morning… what are you guys doing here so early? Anyways come in!" Kavya moves and starts rubbing his eyes and notices Prem and Mukti have not moved an inch. Kavya sniggers seeing Mukti and Prem wearing wedding rings as if it's a joke. Kavya laughs, "Dude why are you guys wearing rings… IS THAT SINDOOR IN YOUR MAANG MUKTI??" Prem and Mukti nod and Kavya gets so mad he starts chasing Prem around the house yelling, "YOU GOT MARRIED??!!". All that ruckus wakes up Kripa and Prachi, who stand outside their room as Prem rushes past them. Kripa and Prachi look at each other like Prem is nuts to be running around their house this early in the morning. Kripa and Prachi don't even have to question Prem's motive since a second later they see Kavya rushing past them as well. Kripa and Prachi look towards each other and then dart after Kavya to find out why he is chasing Prem. Prem stops running as he reaches back to Mukti and hides behind her yelling, "YOU CAN'T HIT A GIRL!! PLUS SHE'S MY WIFE!! DOUBLE NEGATIVE SO HAH!!" Kavya stands there while Kripa and Prachi register Prem's words and yell, "WHAT?? YOU TWO GOT MARRIED? HOW? WHEN? WHERE? AND WHY WEREN'T WE THERE?" Prem and Mukti look at them apologetically. Kavya gives them the same ultimatium as Angad did to Josh and Aaliya. Prem and Mukti gladly accept and rush out the door to get wedding clothes. Kavya, Kripa, and Prachi sigh deciding to go tell their parents about the change in plans.

When Dilip, Naina, Surya, and Gayatri converse they find out that they have a sum of five couples who are to get married today. They all laugh over their children and their dear friends and decide to continue preparations for the wedding. Today of course happens to be a big day for everyone!
