With the shocked expression, he moves his eyes all round the room. He walks towards the couch. He peeps at her from behind, he sees her eyes already closed. He then moves towards the bed, throws himself on it, occupying the entire area of the bed. Prachi who was pretending to sleep, turns toward him, at sees him sleeping turning the other side. She turns back and started thinking. She kept on thinking on one thing that was going in her mind from yesterday.What was him to ignore her, was he hiding anything from her, she didn't understand his behaviour. She thought how can he be so harsh by not talking to her without any reason. She made up her mind to talk with him the next morning at any cost. She thought that even if he would not answer her that would not mind her. Thinking about for a long time , slowly she slips into sleep. On the other side, Milind taking his glances towards her side from time to time. He didn't understand why Prachi slept in the couch that night. He didn't understand anything about her behaviour. He thought whether she was really concerned about him, if she was so concerned about him why she just ignored him like that. All these questions were whacking his brain causing him a headache. He finally decided that he would at any cost talk to her, atleast he would try to break up the silence causing misunderstandings between each other. For a last time he glanced towards her, he saw her face still facing other side, he turns and sleeps, thinking he would definetly talk with the next morning and sort the things out.

The next morning, Prachi was setting all the things properly in the living hall. She sees and the main door, thinking she had forgot to take the newspaper, where it lay when the paper boy had threw and went off. She picks it up carelessly, without noticing the business section falling down. Thinking the weight of the paper is less, she turns around and finds it on the floor. While picking it up she stares the headlines with a shock. She read the headlines which

MR.INDER SHAH HAD TRANSFERRED HIS COMPANIES IN THE NAME OF MR. MILIND MISHRA,HIS NEW SON-IN-LAW.

Prachi was shocked reading the headlines. She thought her eyes were betraying her. So she once again, and again read the headlines. But each time it was still the same news. She felt dizzy and her legs went numb, unabling her to stand there. She catching the sofa to support her, and sits on it, catching her head with her hands, burying her face inside it. Her head was whirling badly. She didn't understand what was going. She never thought her father would transfer all the companie name in the name of Milind. She thought whether there was any connection to this and her marriage. She didn't understand whom to ask. She didn't find any slightest hint on which basis the contract was made, what her made her father to take the extreme step involving him to loose all the companies. After time she tries to get calm down, she thought it was useless to sit down and think of it. She thought she was going to talk to Milind on this and clear out everything today. She sees him coming down from the room. She purposely goes into the kitchen, making him feel normal, raising no doubt about what she read in the paper. She watches everything from the kitchen.

He was cool and composed, makes his way to the sofa. He sits there and sees that his tea was readily kept there. He started drinking it, he was about to call Prachi but something stopped him to call her. His ego, he thought why should he first open his mouth and talk to her. She slowly comes out of the kitchen. She goes and stands near him, picks up the paper which she before laid it on the table. She opens the the business section and places infront of him. She was about to open her mouth, but her ego prevented her also to shut her mouth. She thought that she would open her mouth, when he would talk to her. He stared at the paper, he didn't care to touch it, and again he gave a angry looks towards and her. Without telling or without answering her, he just left the house. She slumps on the sofa, her eyes still staring at the door. She didn't understand why he got angry when she showed him the paper…. The only one who was going to tell her the truth was her brother Alaap.

She dails his number and waits for him to answer. "hello, Prachi what's the matter? Kise yaad kiya mujhe itni shubaah." (what made you to remember me early morning) "I just wanted to know one thing, did you read today's newspaper, is that anything to do with my marriage." He could hear her sobbing. He lets out a loud laugh, "arey pagli there's nothing to do with your marriage, and about the companies, he needed someone to take care of his companies. As you know I'm not interested to do business with him, he transferred it to Milind that's it". "are sure Bhaiyya, are you sure that your telling truth." She asked Alaap suspiciously. "yeah Prachi it's true. Believe me." He disconnects the phone with a big relief as he was not forced to take a false oath to make her believe. But he feared that this lie some day makes him to regret as he was worried what would happen to his sister when she gets to know the truth.

The silence had became their part of life. Days of silence became weeks, but the silence never seemed to be ended. Slowly weeks also turned up to one month. One month of their marriage was over, but their silence never ended creating a big and barrier between them.
