Part 10 –

 

Prithvi was looking at the ring that kripa gave him last night. He would never let kripa go out of his life. She was the perfect girl for a life partner.

It was a wonderfull day and a lunch party was organized in a park. Kripa was helping out at the tables when prithvi approached her.

 

Prithvi – kripa could I talk to you, please?

A women – it's oaky, you both go we are fine here. (they didn't knew about what had happened last night)

Prithvi – last night was a nightmare. I am really sorry for what ahs happened. I have never been so out of it in my life .

Kripa – (not ready to forgive him) the question is will you be out of it again?

Prithvi – I swear, I'll never force myself on you again. It was all alcohol, krips. That and seeing you in arms of anagd. It drove me right off the edge.

Kripa – why exactly? We were enjoying a dance in front of hundreds of people. You didn't catch us in some compromising position .

Prithvi – it was the look on your face. It had a closeness about it you never give me .

Kripa – nonsense, you're frighteningly jealous person.

Prithvi – what's it krips? I am madly in love with you? you need me to be perfect?

Kripa – yes I do (thinking about angad ), I want you to be perfect.

Prithvi – you can't forgive me for one mistake?

Kripa – that one mistake showed me you're not the person I thought you were. You were even going to hit me. Don't deny it. You were going to slap me very hard .

Prithvi – ohh god krips I was not going to slap you .

Kripa – yes you were. Some how I was able to stop you .

Prithvi – krips I can't really remember last night. Please forgive me I want to amrry you. Don't punish me. I beg you I won't hurt you again. You can't abandon me for my one mistake.

Kripa – two bad mistakes

Prithvi – we are getting married in  two months. A commitment had been made. I'm nothing without you. Say you forgive me.

Kripa – that's too difficult to say that today.

 

When they saw kripa's dad suryaban was coming towards them.

 

Surya – what are you both doing here? Come for lunch me, gayatri your parent's prithvi and you two love birds.

 

1 he was the winner of the cup.

2 he wanted to know about people

3 he wanted to find a bride for him..

Well all these were the reasons he had told but deep inside his heart he knew why he was here. To keep a watchful eyes on kripa sharma . He was also there in the lunch party. He was lost thinking about kripa and events of last night.

 

He wanted to see how she was going to handle an ex – fianc who was determined to fight his way back into her good books. The worst of it was, prithvi appeared to have succeeded. Though angad did his best not to look too often in their direction he had noted kripa was not only wearing her ring but prithvi was sitting close besides her, in the company of both sets of smiling parents.

 

Last night angad had escorted kripa back to her home. He had asked if she was okay, then when she said she was, he said a quiet good – night watching her going inside her house. He had longed to stay. To offer a few words of comfort – he had even wanted to rush into some good advice – but he could see how upset and vulnerable she was. Looking at kripa, made angad so angry he felt like going back outside to find prithvi and give him the thrashing he deserved.

Kripa wouldn't thank him for that. She wanted the incident kept as quiet as possible. It was quiet a miracle they had made it back to her house without anyone noticing them.

 

Prithvi has attacked her. Attacked the young woman he professed to love – his wife – to – be! Child, ande man, prithvi was a born bully. Angad felt proud of her she tried saving herself from that prithvi, like a big brother. Best to think like of it like that. After all she'd used to wave to him from when she was a toddler until she was about six,  and what a beautiful little girl she had been. (angad is dumbo thinking of kripa like sister…. Idiot can't understand his feelings )

 He sat on the opposite side of road for another two hours if in case prithvi tries to meet kripa at her home. He hadn't showed, though angad was struck by the fact at one point in the night he had seen prithvi in the distance having what looked like a serious disagreement with his cousin, mishti. Why had mishti been engaged in a violent argument with prithvi? She couldn't have been acting on behalf of kripa. Angad had gained the strong impression during the course of the afternoon and evening kripa and mishti weren't at all friendly. Yet a strong link existed between mishti and prithvi. How else could both of them have been filled with such anger? Angad had to admit he found that troubling.
