PART- 43

 

Recap:  Kunal, karan and naveen's engagement on the same day. Naina's other friend amit is arrived. Raj & naina's love confession.

Now:

They sat there for a long time and naina finally broke the silence.

Naina- Raj?

Raj- Hmmmmm………

Naina- When did you fall in love with me?

Raj- A long time back. When we started our mission; there were so many times when I realized that I couldn't live without you.

Naina- Lekin bataya aaj ja ke! Pata hai kab se tumhari aankhon main apne liye ye pyar dekha tha lekin tum the ki zaban se kuch bolte hi nahi the.

Raj- so miss intelligent, since when did you start to love me?

Naina- I realized when ritu pointed the gun at you. At that moment, I felt one and one thing only that if she shoots you then what will I do or how will I live without you?

Raj- Haan aur ye nahi socha ki agar tumhe kuch ho jata to main kaise jeeta…. Pata hai jab tum operation theater main thi us waqt meri jaan atki hui thi. Saansein to chal rahi thi lekin jaise ye dil dhadkana bandh ho chuka tha. I was never scared like that ever in my life before.

Naina- Achi baat hai, hum kisi ko scare karne ke bhi kaam aate hai.

Raj grinned at her and said: Ab mujhe chod kar kabhi mat jana.

Hearing this statement, naina became a bit serious and suddenly realized the thing she wanted to tell him earlier. She knew that she had to tell him sooner or later but she didn't know whether tonight was the right time or not.

Raj saw her face and realized that something was going on in naina's mind.

Raj- Naina, kya baat hai. Itna kya soch rahi ho?
Naina- Kuch nahi raj.

Raj- Jooth mat bolo. I know you very well. Just tell me what it is.

Naina- I wanted to tell you about my new posting.

Hearing that raj looked up at her and he sat straight beside her.

Raj- So it's decided then.

Naina just nodded at him in the answer.

Raj- Where?

Naina- Wahid, Rajasthan.

Naina narrated him the mission that she took on as her next duty. Raj didn't say anything and just stared at her in disbelief. Naina knew very well that raj knew which duty she was talking about.

Raj- But what about duty at Delhi head quarters that Brigadier Chandok offered to you?

Naina- I refused. I always wanted that case and finally I got a chance to prove myself and I just ………………

But before she could speak anything further raj put his finger on her lips.

Raj- Kuch kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai. I know you love your job and country always comes first to us soldiers. So duty pehle and pyar baad main.

Naina- Thanks for understanding raj.

Raj- Why not? Agar tumhari jagah main hota to kya tum nahi samjati? Waise kab jana hai.

Naina- Bhaiya & kunal ki shaadi ke do din baad.

Raj- Ok.

Naina- To ab main jaoon?

Raj- Kahan? Abhi abhi to keh rahi thi kunal aur naveen shaadi ke do din baad jana hai aur usmein abhi pure 20 din baki hai. Abhi kahan chali?

Naina- To kya 20 din sirf tumhare saamne bathi rahoongi?

Raj- kaash aisa hota!!!!

Naina- raj, I don't want to tell anybody about this yet.

Raj- Main bhi yahi soch raha tha ki tumhare is mission ke baad hum log naveen se baat karenge kyonki agar ab kaha to wo log apni shaadi ke saath saath hamari bhi karva denge.

Naina(mischievously) - To kya tumhara shaadi ka irada nahi hai.

Raj- Irada to hai, agar tum kaho to kal hi kar le.

Naina laughed at his statement and said- nahi kya pata kal mera mood change ho jaye.

Hearing this, raj pulled her closer and held her wrist tightly.

Raj- Madam, sapne main bhi mujh se door jane ka ab mat sochna kyonki ye haath ek baar tham liya to main use chootne nahi doonga. Ab chaho ya na chaho tum sirf meri ho!!!!!!!!!!!

Naina- Acha!!! Bada confidence hai apne aap par.

Raj- Apne aap par to hai lekin us se bhi jyada tum par aur hamare pyar par hai.

Naina just gazed at raj for quite some time and raj did the same.

Naina- I will see you tomorrow and saying that she turned to leave but was stopped by raj for one more kiss. After that passionate kiss, she left and raj was all alone in his room happy that he got his world. Naina came to her room completely blushing and thinking about all the good times that she had spent with raj.

Neither of them couldn't sleep that night, and as both were thinking about each other, and yet both of them were sad that they would have to be parted after 20 days, and none of them knew that how long it would be before they meet again.

The other morning, amit left from the KMA saying naina that he will call her after the wedding so they can go together to join their duty. Naina asked the reason of him going so early and not attending the wedding. He answered that he has to investigate the case from Delhi before they will go. Naina told him that if he would need any help but he refused saying that naina shouldn't missing out on her brother's and her best friend's wedding.

The next few days passed by quickly as all of them were busy with new posts and wedding preparations, shopping etc.

But Raj and Naina made sure that they can spend alone time together everyday before the wedding. And as naina was the best planner and raj wasn't that bad himself, they sneaked out a lot to see sunset or sunrise points near ambala and for jogging, shopping or sometimes for dinner. They talked about their academy days but naina seemed to know everything about raj as she had heard a lot from kunal and naveen. But for raj it was such an amusement to know about naina and her academy days with karan, shikha and amit. As raj heard the stories about their pranks, he realized that those four were truly the great pranksters and full of life people. They mainely got to know each other a lot in these days and this way they did make their together time truly special with beautiful memories.

The night before kunal and naveen's wedding, raj organized a special dinner with naina outside KMA. When naina arrived at the restaurant, raj was speechless because naina was looking the most beautiful in pink salwaar-kameez with matching simple jewelery, loose hairs and light pink make-up. They had the most romantic dinner and then they both decided to walk back at the academy so they can spend some more time together.

Raj- Naina, I am going to miss you so much after two days.

Naina- I will miss you too raj.

Raj- Pata hai, jab tum chali jaogi to mujhe tumhari yaadon se kaam chalana padega.

Naina- Well tumhare paas to yahan sab hai lekin main to wahan pe akeli hoon.

Raj- Kyon shikha aur amit tumhare saath mission pe hai na….

Naina- lekin shikha will be lost in karan's dreams all the time and amit doesn't have free time after duties as he has to filrt.

Raj laughed at naina's statements as they were true. Even in just two days when amit stayed at KMA, raj realized that he was the best filrtious person he ever met.

Naina- Raj, mera ek kaam karoge?

Raj- Anything for you.

Naina- Mere jane ke baad, mere dosto ka khayal rakhna and specially look after aalekh, huda, riya, pooja and aditya. I know that they are mischievous lekin kabhi kabhi un logo ki galati ko maaf kar dena as I know they will be the best soldiers of the country one day.

Raj- Ye bhi koi kehni ki baat hai. I will make sure that they will get the best training aur unke har problem main hum sab teachers unke saath rahenge.

Naina- Aur haan, karan, kunal, bhaiya, bhabhi, nandini, abhimanu and neha ka bhi khayal rakhna.

Raj(mockingly)- Yes maam, sab ka khayal rakhoonga aur kuch?

Naina- Aur sab se jyada apna khayal rakhna as I don't want anything happen to you.

Raj gazed at her lovingly and took her into his arms.

Raj- But you take care of yourself as I can't live without you.

Naina nodded and they stand there hugging each other for a while.

The next day, two weddings happened with lots of joy and celebrations. They all had a great time as raj and abhi's sister, naina's brother and their friends got married. All guests wished the couples and there was a dance, masti, khinchai everything. All of them enjoyed the day like there is no tomorrow.

Naina decided to tell everybody about her departure the next day of the wedding. After the wedding, every one was exausted so they went to sleep (of course minus the happy couples who were making their wedding night memorable), and the other morning everyone met for the breakfast in the mess where naina specially included five cadets.

They all were talking to each other and mostly teasing the newly wedded couples.

Naina- Guys, I have something to say to you.

Everybody was a bit concerned as they heard a serious tone in naina's voice.

Naina briefly told them about her departure for the new mission. Of course, she didn't tell them anything official matters as it wouldn't be appropriate. The only three person knew were shikha, karan and raj as shikha also told karan about her job which was much less dangerous than amit and naina's job.

Naveen was sad and didn't want naina to go but he very well knew that he couldn't stop his sister for doing her duty and he didn't want her to ignore her duty either.

All five cadets were sad as naina had been their best friend since they first came here. They all loved their other teachers but still there was a distance between them and with naina, it was much easier to talk to her about anything.

Kunal, abhi, karan, nandini, shalini, suriji all were unhappy that finally naina was going and it will be months before they all see her again.

Naina hugged all and she assured the five cadets that she will spend the rest of day with them and she will be there if they ever need her.

Naina spent some time with faculty members and then some with cadets.

Aalekh- Tu chali jayegi to sab suna suna lagega.

Pooja- Hamara connection to zindagi bhar ka tha to phir ab kyon door ja rahi ho?

Naina- Are main kahan door hoon, Jab bhi chaho call kar lena aur phir kuch mahino ki baat hai. Chutti milte hi KMA chali aaongi tum logo ke paas.

I want you guys to promise me that you will be focusing on your studies and training and of course once in a while in sare teachers ko satate bhi rehna.

All smiled at the last sentence.

Huda- Oy fikar mat kar naina, we will give them regular shocks at times.

Aditya- And also we will focus on our trainings and be the best soldiers just like you.

Naina- Nahi, tum logo ko mujh se bhi acha banna hai and I have full confidence in each and every one of you.

They all hugged naina saying that they are going to miss her lot.

The same scene was with abhi, nandini, shalini, kunal, naveen and karan. Karan was doubling sad as shikha was also leaving but naina promised him that she will look after his girl friend and her friend.

Raj was sad the day naina was leaving as he never ever knew that how would he able to live without her for so many months. He came to drop her off at bus stop in the morning but before they reached at the bus-stop, he stopped his jeep to the most beautiful place by the lake where they usually met secretly in past few days. Naina looked at raj questiongly and Raj led Naina to a bench before sitting down beside her, holding both of her hands in his.

"I have something for you" He told her, and pulled a small jewellery box out of his pocket. Opening it, Naina saw a beautiful ring. She stared at Raj, and without waiting, raj took the ring out and slipped onto her finger.

Naina was speechless and her eyes were filled with tears both of happiness and sadness.

Raj- Now it's official and you are mine only.

Naina- Even if you didn't give this today, I was yours and I will be yours only.

Raj kissed her passionately and after sometime they both were back on the road to reach the bus-stop.

At bus-stop, raj hugged naina tightly. When it was time for her to leave, she started to cry and raj hugged her so again saying that they will see each other in few months.
Raj- Take care of your self and brief me on everything if anything goes wrong there.

Naina nodded and got onto the bus after one more hug. She kept looking out of window until raj was out of sight.

For the next few months, she would be working on her mission and she does have friends there but it wouldn't be the same as the days she spent at the KMA full of fun where she proved his friend's innocent, her family was back together and she found the love of her life.
