PART- 28

 

On Saturday morning, Raj got a letter, and he started to read it. "The letter said, we know captain rajveer that you and naina singh are working on a case secretly and we don't know about you but today is naina's last day in this world and if you can save her than try your best or uski dead body aaj shaam tak aap ko bhijwa di jayengi." Reading this letter, raj was shocked and he even forgot about his birthday and everything and rushed to naina's room but in the corridor he collided with pooja.

Pooja- are sir, good morning. Aap itni jaldi main kisko dhoond rahe hai?

Raj- Cadet ghai, did you see cadet singh. It's important.

Pooja- But sir, she left in the morning.

Raj- left? Where?
Pooja- She was thinking to go to town for some shopping so she left just 20 minutes ago.

Raj went to get naina when he collided with abhi and aalekh at the gate.

Abhi- are raj, itni subah subah kahan ja rahe ho?

Raj- I will tell you everything when I will be back. Right now it's important.

Abhi- Ok, but be back around 7:00 pm

Raj left hurriedly and abhi and aalekh gave each other a high five as naina's plan worked exactly.

Aalekh- sir, apun ko samaj main nahi aaya, aisa naina ne rajveer sir ko kya bhijwaya jo wo itne bhag kar academy ke bahar ja rahe the?
Abhi- Even I don't know aalekh, but knowing naina I think she used something so serious that raj ke hosh ud gaye. I don't think he will be back until evening so let's go and get to work.

Then they all started organizing for the party.

On the other hand, raj drove his jeep really fast looking for naina on the road and suddenly he found her walking. He stopped his jeep and came out screaming naina.

Naina turned around and looked at raj.

Raj- Naina, are you all right?

Naina- Yeah I am fine, mujhe kya hona tha. But why are you sweating? What happened?

Raj told her about the letter and naina started laughing. Raj couldn't understand why she is laughing.

Raj- what happened?

Naina- nothing, you know it's so easy to fool you. I send this letter.

Raj- what? But why?

Naina- because I wanted you to come with me somewhere and I thought it would be perfect idea for you to get out of the academy but look at you. Tumhare chehre ka to rang hi ud gaya hai.

Raj got angry and shouted @ naina.

Raj- What do you think? Is this some kind of the joke? Do you know between getting this letter and founding you what was my condition? Thought of loosing you made me……………….. and then he suddenly stopped when he got aware of what he just said.

Naina was almost shocked too but she didn't mind and she just thought he was refeering her just as a friend.

Naina- chill, I won't do anything like that again, but right now come with me.

Raj- where?

Naina- Just trust me and come with me.

After almost an hour, they both reached @ a farmhouse where naina gave raj a key to open the door as she was getting her backpack from the jeep. Raj was totally confused but he knew it wasn't better at all to argue with naina anytime so he just opened the door and he was shocked. Naina came from behind and saw raj just standing at door in shocked condition. His eyes were full of tears.

Naina: Raj, It's your birthday, and I thought I would like to give you a present as you are my friend but you are crying instead of thanking me.

Raj suddenly went inside and there he was standing, smiling. It had been a year since raj saw him, one of his best friends: Kunal. Raj went inside and hugged kunal tightly and they both were in tears, and naina was looking at them with a smile on her face.

After some time, they parted and raj spoke up.

Raj: I am sorry, yaar. Kahan chala gaya tha tu, ek baar to mere aane ka intezaar kar leta. Kya mujhse itni badi galati ho gayi thi ki maaf bhi nahi kiya aur rooth kar chala gaya.

Kunal- It was a really bad situation raj, or sorry to mujhe kehna chahiye ki meri wajah se jo kuch bhi hua wo nahi hona chahiye tha.

Raj- No, it wasn't your fault. Don't ever say that again.

Kunal and he hugged again and kunal wished him happy birthday.

Now raj turned to naina to thank her but she said, "Wait raj, my surprise is not over yet and then she called, why you don't come outside." Raj looked at kunal and he was smiling. The door opened and raj found his sister neha standing there. Now raj just sat on the sofa as he thought it was just a dream. He never imagined that kunal and neha would be together after whatever happened but there they were in front of him. Neha came forward and hugged raj.

Neha- I am sorry bhaiya, jab aap ne mujhe kaha tha ki I should give a chance to kunal I never did. But now I know all the truth. Can you forgive me?

Raj- Of course, you guys don't know how happy I am. This is the best birthday gift I have ever gotten.  

Kunal: Then tell thanks to naina. It was afterall her doing.

Neha- yeah, she was the one who brought us all together and she went to naina.

Neha- naina, I am really sorry for whatever I said to you. Can you forgive me?

Naina- Don't be silly, I don't have any anger for you since…… you guys are together and If I would  have been at your situation may be I would have done same like you did.

Kunal came to naina and they both hugged.

Kunal- Let me tell you, I never admired your unexpected plans and surprises up until today but convinicing naina about the truth was the best one.

Raj- And how did you do that?

Neha- Naina ne apne dost ko mujhe convince karne bheja tha aur usne mujhe sab kuch bataya ki un dino mein kya hua tha aur sare saboot bhi dikhaye.

Kunal- haan tab jake tumhari ye behan mani.

Neha- I already told you sorry. Kya ab is baat ko zindagi bhar sunate rahoge.

Kunal- If you will spend your life with me then yes. Neha- Waise naina tera idea kafi acha tha but how did you meet captain sahay and did all those things.

Naina- Actually, He is my childhood friend and we studied together. In fact kunal knows him very well. Aur jab KMA main annual function tha tab mujhe uska phone aaya tha ki wo ambhala main hai, so I went there to meet him, and I asked for his help as he was appointed in Delhi so he did, and you know in sab kaamo mein to wo best hai.

Kunal- Yeah, I know bachpan se hi tum dono logo ki khinchai main bhi best ho. Pata hai raj, dono mil kar mujhe aur naveen ko satate rehte the.

After hearing naveen's name, everybody became little sad. Raj saw that and he went to kunal and put his hand on his shoulder.

Raj- Kunal, don't worry kuch dino main sab theek ho jayega bilkul pehle ki tarah.

Kunal- I hope aisa hi ho.

Naina- kyon nahi hoga, agar raj sirf akela hota is mission main to baat aur thi lekin mere hote hue koi doubt nahi.

Everybody laughed @ her comment and raj made an annoyed face. Kunal, neha and naina wished raj Happy birthday and they enjoyed the lunch that neha has prepared specially for raj's birthday. After lunch, they talked a little more, and then Kunal and neha left for rajasthan as kunal had his duty and neha was organizing a fashion show there.

Now naina had to pass two more hours with raj as they have to reach exact at 7:00 pm and it was only 4:30 right now.

Raj- Thanks for everything naina.

Naina- kamal hai raj, maine socha ki tum mujhe apna dost mante ho lekin aisa kuch hai nahi.

Raj- aisa kyon keh rahi ho?

Naina- to dekho na, tum har choti choti baat ke liye mujhe thanks kehte rehte ho. Maine kunal ke liye itna kiya kya usne mujhe ek baar bhi thanks kaha, nahi na…. because dosto main thanks ya sorry nahi hota.

Raj- Ok, I will not do that again.

Naina- That's better.

Raj- ab chale, hum ko academy wapas bhi jana hai.

Naina- will you wait a little longer, actually I have to do some shopping.

Raj- Shopping? Is waqt?
Naina- ladkiyan shopping ke liye waqt nahi dekhti aur aaj ke din tum itna to kar sakte ho. Sirf do ghante? Please……

Raj- all right, let's go.

Then they both went to shopping and naina looked around in stores to buy some things while raj was just wondering around. Suddenly he spotted a very beautiful necklace and he saw that naina was busy picking her out fit so he went and bought the necklace.

Now it was time, so naina came to him.

Naina: chale?

Raj: sure let's go.

After half an hour they were at the academy gate when raj told naina to go in first as he didn't want anybody to suspect anything.

Naina- It's ok, we can go together. If somebody asks then I will tell them that you gave me lift.

Raj- Good idea; then let's go.

Then they both entered in the academy and raj found that everything was quiet, and there were no cadets around. There were only guards at their posts.

Raj- Saturday ke din itni shaanti, kuch gadbad lag rahi hai? kahan hai sare log?

Naina- why don't we check and naina went ahead and raj followed her as he didn't want her to get hurt if something is not right.

Naina went inside a big room near the mess and raj went behind him but it was so dark and he couldn't see anything, so he said: Naina, where are you?

And suddenly, all lights were on and raj was standing in the middle of room where everybody was around him said: Surprise.

He looked around, and there was a party for him. He saw everybody smiling and wishing him happy birthday.

Abhi came forward, and said- Kyon, kaisa raha hamara surprise? Happy Birthday my friend.

Raj- Very good, to ye aap ka plan tha.

Shalini- Bilkul, and everybody helped and wished him happy birthday.

After that everybody enjoyed the party but raj was very happy that he got whatever he wanted and he knew that he will get success in his mission soon. He thanked god for all happiness and he knew that it was all due to naina.

On the other side, naina was enjoying the party with Aalekh, Huda and others as she was really happy for her friends.

They all danced and enjoyed the party, and there are two more days for enjoyment before Hitlers' comeback.

On the other day, raj and abhi were at the ground with aalekh, huda, riya, pooja and adi as they requested them to teach some drills. Naina wasn't there as she was checking her evidences to put all pieces together.

Abhi- so are you ready cadets? Where is cadet singh?

Aalekh- wo uski tabiyat kuch theek nahi hai sir, to wo hum ko kal join kar legi.

Raj- Is anything serious?

Riya- no she was tired and she took a pain killer so she felt sleepy.

Abhi- That's all right. Waise bhi hum ko lagta hai wo aaj jis drills ki practice hum kar rahe hai unko achi tarah se aati hai.

Huda(mumbled)- Are banjare, usko to sab kuch aata hai chahe to tujhe bhi shikha sakti hai.

Raj heard that and just smiled as he knew that it was true.

Everybody got busy with drills and raj and abhi instructed and helped all of them where they needed guidance.

On the other hand, naina read all the documents carefully and she found a file which she copied from ammunities department. She realized that she only made one copy so she had one but raj didn't get that file.

Naina started reading the file and she was shocked as she read further. After reading the file, naina thought of every incident that happened from kunal's engagement to his trial to her arrival at KMA and meeting raj for the mission.

Naina(to herself)- I don't think mujhe ye file filhaal raj ko deni chahiye, iske liye mujhe khud puri investigation karni hogi kyonki agar main jo soch rahi hoon wo sahi hai to raj ko sachchai jaan kar bahut dukh hoga aur agar main galat hui aur bebuniyad ilzaam ki wajah se raj ek aur rishta kho sakta hai. Naina decided to keep this information to herself and investigate this on her own without letting raj know anything.
