Chapter 6
Here is the next update.....
Everyone was back at home. After a quiet dinner, Naina took Khushi & Nandini took Karan upstairs to put her to the bed as they had a lot to discuss about the case afterward. But they both insisted on playing some more so Nandini asked Naina to go do her work and she promised to put them to sleep in a while. Vidya also joined them and said Naina the same thing so Naina left from there to the study hall where everyone was waiting for her to discuss their mission.
As soon as she entered the room, they started discussing.
Raj- So, what did you observe today in the town?
Aalekh- Everything looks normal sir but we know that nothing is normal.
Abhi- what do you mean?
Ali- Pooja and I tried to talk about general stuff with shop owners but they all had same answers about everything. They don't want to reveal much about the village or any other thing for that matter.
Aditi- Same thing happened to us. When Aalekh and I tried to ask for permission to take photos for our assignment, everyone was reluctant.
Gunny- What about you Captain Huda?
Huda- I just found out that if you want to do any kind of business, then you have to contact Mr. sooraj gill.
Naina- Who is Mr. Sooraj Gill...
Raj- I think I know... We are going to meet him tomorrow. He is the sarpanch of this village, and since we are doing census. We have to meet him first.
Naina- All right then we are going to check him out.
Gunny- Did you check out the hospital Shikha?
Shikha- Yes, and it looks there is not many cases or many sick people. Everything is at a very slow pace. Occasional accidents here and there....
Abhi- So from tomorrow, we are going on our duties. We have to be as discrete as possible. Ali and Pooja will go back to the base and stay all day there trying to crack all threat messages that had been sent to the army in last two months.
Gunny- I am going to check out local school and take my place there as vice-president and I will admit Khushi there in playgroup.
Abhi- I will bring Karan there for his admission in playgroup as well.
Raj- Aalekh and Aditi will roam around the town and Shikha will go to the hospital. Huda, you will turn up at the sarpanch's house after half an hour of our arrival.
Huda- Ok sir....
Gunny- All right then best of luck to everyone and see you in the morning at the breakfast.
Raj and Naina's room were next to each other and Gunny and Abhi's room were opposite to Raj & Naina's rooms.
Raj had been staring at the sky like they were talking to someone there.
Raj(in his mind)- Naveen, why did it happen to us? What did we do wrong? Trust me yaar, I never meant to hurt your sister but now I am relieved that she is happy.
Naina was stroking Khushi's hair while thinking about her past.
(Flashback:
Everything was great at KMA. Now Raj, Abhi and Nandini knew that Naina was Naveen's sister. Gunny & Vidya were there too. They all used to teach cadets and save them from Major Niar and Major Bhargav's nasty habits.
Major Bhargav had come during appraisals and started to harass cadets.
Raj started to develop feelings toward Naina. He wasn't sure what they exactly were but Naina was becoming more than a friend to Raj. On the other hand, same thing was happening to Naina. She liked to spend her free time with Raj. Raj had taken her to dinners and movies whenever they were free. Gunny and Vidya were happy for her. On the other hand, Abhi & Nandini were happy for Raj as well.
Ritu was very jealous as she wasn't making progress in her work and Naina had become an obstacle in her work. Ritu wanted to find about Naina so she can separate her and Raj and in her efforts, she found out that she was Captain Naveen's sister.
Ritu very slyly mailed those documents to Brigadier Chandok who was very angry as he never wanted anyone connected to Naveen at the KMA.
Brigadier chandok had ordered for Naina's transfer and soon the news was spread all over the academy. Raj was angry at BC's behavior.
That afternoon, Naina went to take senior cadets' class and they had refused to study in her class as Major Bhargav made senior cadets against Naina.
Naina didn't say a word and went out of the class. Gunny and Abhi came to know about that and they were angry.
Abhi- Ye sab kyon ho raha hai? Aakhir Naina ki kya galati hai? Kab tak hum yun sahte rahenge?
Gunny- I haven't told this to anybody yet but Vidya had gone to Delhi head quarters to try to reopen Naveen's case.
Abhi- But why now? We still don't have any evidence...
Gunny- Because we won't have another chance. Major Bhargav and Major Niar are using cadets against Naina and they are trying for her to get angry and take any action and I know her and I don't want her to get in trouble.
Abhi- That's a good step but until Vidya gets approval, we need to keep her calm.
Raj- You are right but Major Bhargav is crossing line.
Gunny- Hey Raj, why don't you take Naina out tonight. It will be good for her.
Raj- You are right. I will go to her room right now.
Raj went to Naina's room and he knocked the door for few minutes but nobody answered. He saw the door was open and he went inside.
He looked around but nobody was there. He heard the sound of breaking glass from bed room so he rushed there.
He saw that Naina was standing over a broken glass, and her hand was bleeding badly. She probably threw it out of anger and she was standing there frustrated.
Raj fetched the first aid kit and made Naina sit on the bed against her attempt to push him away. He strongly held her wrist and cleaned the wound and bandaged it.
She looked at him and suddenly tears were coming out of her eyes. She was tired and broken down. She hugged him tightly breaking into sobs.
Raj caressed her hair slowly and let her cry as he thought it was better for her right now. After sometime, she was normal.
Raj- Naina, ye waqt bhi chala jayega... Hum himmat nahi harenge...
Naina- I have failed Raj... I am tired... I just want this to get it over with... I can't prove Naveen bhaiya innocent and now Major Bhargav is playing games with cadets' future just to harass me.
Raj- I won't let that happen, but right now just get ready and let's go out...
Naina- I am not in mood please...
Raj- Just come with me...
Raj had taken her to point 1857 to clear her mind from all worries.
Naina- This place is beautiful Raj... I never knew KMA ke paas itni achi jagah bhi hai...
Raj- Pata hai Naina, hum jab academy mein the tab sare cadets apne apne pyar ke saath yahan pe aate the kyonki un ko yahan pe privacy milti thi...
Naina- Acha, tum kis ke saath aate the...
Raj(without thinking)- Abhi ke saath....
Naina narrowed her eyes at him and it took Raj a moment to know what she was thinking.
Raj- Naina!!! I was just saying that Abhi and I used to come here so we can keep an eye on Naveen, because we used to bet that how long Naveen can keep flirting with girls.
Naina smiled and Raj kept staring at her.
Suddenly Raj went up to Naina, who was looking around the place.
Raj- Did you ever fall in love Naina?
Naina looked at him and his eyes showed only one emotion and it was pure and immerse love for her. She looked away but tonight Raj wanted to confess his love and wanted answer from her.
Raj went near her and made her face him.
Raj- Naina, I love you.
Naina was taken back at his confession. She didn't know that he will just tell her simply like that.
Raj- I didn't know when and where it happened. But it just happened... He started to blabber to make himself clear that how much he loved her but Naina shushed him up.
Naina looked into his eyes and said, "I love you too Raj."
Raj looked at her for a second and he brought her toward him and kissed her on her lips. It took a second for Naina to react and they both shared a passionate first kiss.
Flashback ends.)
Naina had tears in her eyes as she thought about her past.
Naina(to herself)- No naina, you can't let that happen again. You have to be strong. Everything is over.

The next morning, Naina was in the kitchen along with Nandini, vidya and girls who were making breakfast as they had taken turns for making breakfast. Today was girls' turn.
Guys were outside sitting with kids. Naina checked the breakfast and she saw that ladies had decided to make "Aloo ke parathe" for breakfast.
Naina knew that Khushi didn't like Aloo ke parathe and she also knew that someone else didn't like that either, so she made some pancakes and sandwitches too.
The breakfast was served and Khushi made a face when she saw Aloo ke parathe for breakfast.
Khushi- Mama, I don't want to eat that... I don't like that...
Naina(smiled)- I know dear... That's why I made you pancakes and sandwitch. She served for her and then she served the same things on the other plate and quietly passed the plate to Raj who was sitting next to Khushi.
Raj(smiled)- Thanks...
Naina- You are welcome...
Khushi- Friend, aap ko bhi aloo ke parathe pasand nahi...
Raj- No, I don't like them...
Khushi- Mujhe bhi nahi hai... But I love pancakes...
Raj- Mujhe bhi pancakes bahut pasand hai...
Khushi- Hey you are copying me...
Raj- Maine kab aap ki copy ki...
Khushi- Jo mujhe pasand hai wo aap ko kaise pasand ho sakta hai...
Raj- Ho sakta hai bilkul ho sakta hai...
Naina was observing the conversation and smiled but she realized that they are going to be late if they didn't start their breakfast so she told Khushi to finish her breakfast soon.

Around 10:00 a.m.
Raj and Naina went to sarpanch's house.
Sarpanch's wife- Ji aap ko kis se milna hai..
Raj- Ji, mera naam vikram pande hai aur main yahan census ke liye aaya hoon aur mujhe sarpanch ji se milna hai...
Sarpanch came outside.
Sarpanch- Ji mera naam sooraj gill hai... Main is village ka sarpanch hoon...
Raj- Hum yahan census ke liye aaye hai aur ye rahe hamare id cards...
Both Raj and Naina took out their ID cards and a letter and gave it to him. The sarpanch looked at them and smiled.
Sooraj- Chalo acha hai sarkar ne pati-patni ko ek hi kaam pe laga diya... Dono hamesha ek saath rah sakte hai...
Naina- Jee?
Sooraj- Are nahi ye to maine ID cards dekhe aur is letter me likha hai ki Mr. Vikram Pande aur unki patni Nisha yahan pe aa rahe hai... Khair aap ye bataye aap ke rehne ka intezaam kahan pe kiya hai...
Both Raj and Naina looked at him shocked but Raj was first to come out of shock. He took the IDs and letter back.
Raj- Ji hamare rehne ka intezaam army ke yahan se ho gaya hai. Army camp main hi...
Sooraj- JI theek hai... Lekin agar koi problem ho to yahan pe main intezaam karwa doonga...
Naina- Ji sukriya...
They were talking when Huda came there.
Huda- JI kya ye hi sarpanchji ka ghar hai?
Sooraj- Ji mein hoon sarpanch.. aap kaun hai aur yahan kis kaam se aaye hai?
Huda- Ji mera naam govind chaudhri hai... Main Rajshthan se aaya hoon... Yahan pe mirch masale ki dukan kholna chahta hoon...
Sooraj- Ji ye to bahut achi baat hai ki hamare gaon main rajsthani mirchi bikegi to aas paas ke log bhi yahan se sab saaman khareedenge... Hum aap ki madad zaroor karenge...
Huda- Ji sukriya...
Raj- Hum bhi chalte hai sarpanch ji, yahan phir aayenge... Hum zara gaon dekh lete hai...
Sooraj- Ji theek hai... Hum aap ki har tarah se madad karenge... Aur jane se pehle aap dono pati-patni hamare yahan khane pe zarror aana...
Huda coughed when he heard sooraj calling Raj-Naina husband and wife but Naina glared at him and he controlled his cough.
He talked more with sarpanch about his business and then he left from there. On the other hand, both Raj and Naina checked their cards and letter. It said that they are pretending to be husband & wife.
Raj- I am really sorry Naina, I had no idea...
Naina- It's not your fault. Even I didn't pay attention to that detail...
Raj- But now we have to be more careful...
Naina- I guess so... chale ab gaon main logo ko observe bhi karna hai...
They both headed to the village.

Again a good update dear. This is for part 2 u have updated. Raj ne Naina ko dhoka nahi diya i know it ye us ki majboori thi aur is ki hi vajah se us ko Ritu se shaadi karni padi. Raj Ritu k saath nahi jaana chahta kahin accha hai. Us k saath jaane se accha to kahin na hi jaana hai. Ritu bhi jaanti hai is ka reason to chod kyoun nahi deti us ko, kyoun us ki zindagi barbaad karne par tuli hue hai? Raj ne sab ko mana kar diya hai kuch bhi batane ko aur Naina k baare me bhi yahan Raj ko kuch bhi batane vaala koi nahi hai. Raj ko Karan k saath khel kar sukoon milta hai that's nice. Yaar today i read the first part of your fic. This is brilliant only having one minus point that Ritu n Raj are married. Vaise it's just my opinion i hate her and i hate her even more when she is around him or with him anywhere. good n keep it up. Mahak Sinha2009-03-20 23:32:59

Rocking update... Khushi ki habits raj ke jaisi hai....but whether she is actually raj's daughter or not...yeh jaane ke kiya yeh dono ke past ko janna pade ga... Our guys have have started their mission.....raj and naina have been shown as husband and wife.....their friends have come up with a great plan.. Waiting to read your next update.

Nice part. Raj-Naina's husband wife thing was really nice. I think the friends r planning these well. Seems Khushi is Raj's daughter. Well dats a lil confusing but 4 dat need to knw more abt RN past. PLS CONTINUE SOON.
