Chapter 3
Here is the next update...
Raj came back to his house and saw Ritu waiting for him as usual.
He didn't say anything and about to go to the guest room when Ritu called out.
Ritu- Raj, I can't come with you to Punjab...
Raj was surprised as Ritu never left him alone in last four years and today was the first time when she didn't want to accompany him to his posting.
Raj turned around and looked at her.
Ritu- I just got this letter from my university. They are organizing a conference from many countries' psychologists and they had sent me an invitation to join. It's a two month event as they are visiting every psych center in India. I want to go there as I am not part of army anymore and I want to start my new career as civilian.
Raj- If that's you want, then I don't have any problem.
Ritu- Thanks... I am going to leave the day after tomorrow and I know that you don't want it but this is my program schedule and my contact information.
She handed him a folder and left to sleep.
Raj looked at the folder and put along with his file that he was supposed to take with him to Punjab.
Ritu had left the day before and now everyone else was ready to go to Punjab. They reached there in the afternoon. Gunraj was there along with Ali and Pooja there too. They all met each other after four years.
Pooja had rushed to meet Aditi and Shikha as she missed them a lot after academy days. Ali was also excited to meet Aalekh and Huda. All six of them had gone to the dinner to catch up.
Meanwhile Gunraj had his dinner with Abhi, Nandini, Raj and Karan...
Nandini- So how is everything with you?
Gunraj- Nothing much... I have been taking care of Vidya and fulfilling her every wish right now...
Abhi- What happened to her?
Gunraj- She is pregnant...
Raj- Congratulations...
Karan- I am bored... who is going to play with me? My friends are in Mumbai...
Gunraj- Don't worry, tomorrow I will introduce you to a new friend...Her name is Khushi. She is just as young as you, and she will be happy to play with you...
Karan(excited)- Ok then I will take out my all toys so we can play when she comes...
He went to his room blabbering about his toys and his new friend. Abhi was about to ask Gunraj about Khushi when he got a phone call and he excused himself.
Naina was on the phone.
Gunraj- Ha Naina bolo...
Naina- I called you to tell you that Vidya's appointment is in the morning so we will be there by tomorrow night so I can't be there at the meeting. I already notified to Major General Gaur.
Gunraj- Ok, so I will come to pick you guys up at the airport...
Naina- No need, we will be there by ourselves.

In the morning, everyone had reported to their senior Major General Gaur.
General Gaur- As you all know, we have some illegal activity going here at Punjab regiment and since I don't want to take any risk, I have appointed two teams as undercover agents.
Colonel Abhimanyu, you are here as a tourist with your wife and your son because you wanted change from your busy schedule as prince.
Captain Aalekh Sharma is here as a foreign photographer and Lieutenant Aditi sahay will be posing as his assistant.
Captain Amardeep Huda will be pretend to be a local sales man who came here from next village to sell his crop to local shop owners.
Colonel Gunraj will be pretend to be a vice-principal of a local school as I already talked to the principal and the vice-principal is on sabatical.
Lieutenant Shikha will be the intern doctor at the local hospital, and Lieutenant Pooja will be working as legal assistant in my office and since you will be living with Colonel Randhawa, you can brief me on everything.
Colonel Rajveer and Major Naina will be working as government officials who came here to take a census of all near by villages.
Major General Gaur- You all have your information in file. Do you have any questions?
All- No sir...
Major General Gaur- Then the meeting is adjourned.
Everyone was leaving but General Gaur stopped Gunraj because he had to talk to him.
General Gaur- Why did you call me to change the assignment between you and Major Naina?
Gunraj- Sir, it's a little personal and I will tell you everything when the right time comes...
General Gaur- Ok as you like... I trust you all...All the best for your mission.
Gunraj- Thank you sir...

Naina was on the plane and she saw both vidya and khushi sleeping on their seats comfortably. Naina knew that she was going to see Raj once again after such a long time and she wondered whether she was ready for that or not...
She remembered their first meeting.
(Flashback:
Naina was going to KMA so she was going to Delhi by flight and then she was going to drive from there to KMA by car. She settled on her seat to find a very nervous passenger next to her. Next to her, there was a very handsome well built guy was sitting but he was dreadfully nervous.
He was talking to himself.
The guy- Raj, tera kuch nahi ho sakta...Agar tune apna mail pehle khola hota to tu train se ja sakta tha... Please god save me... Why on the earth I have to be the one to travel by a plane?
Naina smiled as she found it very funny for some grown man to be afraid of a plane.
Raj(annoyed)- Will you stop laughing?
Naina- I am sorry, I just couldn't help myself... Are you afraid of flying?
Raj- Well I am just not comfortable to travel in a plane?
Naina- Can I tell you a little secret?
Raj nodded...
Naina- Agar aap ko lagta hai ki plane take off hone ke baad plane ko kuch ho gaya to trust me you will die and you won't even feel a thing...
Raj was shocked and Naina started laughing again.
Raj- Are you making fun of me? Everyone is afraid of something. I am sure you are afraid of something too.
Naina- well at least I am not afraid when the plane takes off and it looks like you aren't either.
Naina showed him the direction and Raj looked that the plane had taken off when they were arguing...
Raj looked at Naina and smiled- Thanks...
Naina- You are welcome...
Raj- My name is Rajveer singh shekhawat...
Naina- I am Naina Singh...
The whole plane ride, they talked about general stuff to pass time.
At the delhi airport, they both headed to the rental car place.
Raj- Hi, My name is Rajveer and I had booked a rental car.
Naina said the same thing to the other receptionist on the opposite side of the counter.
The receptionist checked her records and found out that there had been a mistake and someone booked only one car.
The receptionist- I am sorry sir but there is a problem. We only have one car available.
Rajveer- How could you make that mistake?
Naina- How could you make that mistake?
Both receptionist apologized and told them that since the other person is also headed to the same town, so they can share the car.
Both Naina and Rajveer were annoyed thinking that they had to share the car with other person but when they saw each other they smiled.
Raj- I didn't know that you were going to Ambala...
Naina- Yeah I am going to KMA military academy.
Raj- So am I. You are in army?
Naina- I am Captain Naina singh... weapons specialist.
Raj- I am Captain Rajveer singh shekawat... Drill commander.
Naina- Well I didn't know army captain was afraid of flying...
Raj made a face at her comment and they headed towards the car.
Naina didn't know that Raj was Naveen's friend and Raj didn't know that Naina was Naveen's sister but they felt a connection between them. They reached Ambala with talking to each other about their army careers making sure to leave anything about Naveen from their conversations.
Flashback ends)
Suddenly Naina came back from her past when she heard Khushi asking for some water.
Naina smiled at her little princess and called air hostess to bring some water.
Naina saw that Vidya was awake too and then they both started to talking to Khushi.
Very soon their flight was landed at the airport.
Naina took a deep breath as she came out of the airport.

Hello readers... I just got a complaint that my fanfic is copied but I didn't copy anybody's writing...Anyways since this complain is in my mailbox, I can't continue my ff....I am sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings.
