Angad had informed his dad, though it was unexpected he was happy for them. They had decided that after marriage Kripa would continue her studies but instead of staying at the hostal she would stay with Angad. The Wedding cards had been
printed and ditribuated Kripa had invited her "family" and Aaliyah. The engagement was the next day. Angad and Kripa went shopping for there engagement clothes Kripa picked out this:

After there clothing they went to pick out there rings, Angad and Kripa went to different stores to buy the rings so they could surprise each other on there engagement.

Joy, Happiness,commotion was surronding the Khanna Masion as everyone prepared for the engagement Of Angad Khanna and Kripa Sharma. Angad was busy introducing Kripa to his celebrity friends, and his ordinary family.
"Come on Kripa this is Shah Rukh Khan...a good friend of mine" He said as he introduced her to the King Khan. "This is Josh Kapoor, my childhood friend now he's a rockstar to- and theres my brother ....come Kripa"
Angad led her to a young man who looked about 3 years older than Angad "Kripa this is my brother Nishant and his wife -my sister in-law Kunun" He said pointing to the young girl accompanying him. She faintly smiled.

"Oh Kripa come i ll introduce you to the most special women in my life. This time Angad led Kripa to a old lady in her 80's "Kripa this is my Dadi" Kripa bent down and took her blessings.
dadi and Kripa started talking when Dilip (angad's Father) announced that it was time to exchange rings.

Angad and kripa came forth to excahnge rings. After they exchanged rings they went to get dillips blessing and then Kripa's mom and step dad's blessing. Dillip made another announcement
"Ladies and Gentlemen i am very thankful to you all for coming here to celebrate my sons happiness with me now Angad's good friends Shahrukh Khan will be performing a song from his latest hit OM SHANTI OM.

The Audience claps at the wonderful performance. As Kripa was clapping her mother dragged her away, to another room
"Mom what happened?" Kripa asked looking at her mothers worried face
"Kripa...dear you cant get marrried here"
"WHAT ....mom...do you realize what your saying?"
"yes i do and-" Before Gayatri (Kripa's mom) could continue dillip entered the room.
"What happened...?" dillip asked observing there worried faces.
"Oh Nothing...Mom was just wishing me a happy wedded life in the only way she can"
Dillip Laughed "Kripa...Angad has been anxiously looking for you"
Kripa nodded and left to go to Angad.
Gayatri tried to talk to Kripa but she ignored him.
After the engagement party was over and everyone went home. Everyone at the Khanna Mansion started disscussing how wonderful the party had been.
"This is a really happy day for me" Dilip started "and i offer you all a drink of wine" The servents came and served the men drinks, (angad, dillip and Nishant). Kunnun and Kripa left the room since they didnt drink and went to another room to talk about girl stuff.
"Kripa" Kunun began "you really like angad dont you..."
Kripa blushed and nodded
"does he like you?" Kunnun asked
"i am sorry but of course...we're engaged"
"being engaged doesnt mean you love each other..."kunun said mystically
Kripa looked at Kunnun confused
"Kripa...I am your step sister."

Part 6

As Angad drove Kripa to her hostal. Kripa reviewed what had just happened at his house. She hadnt told Angad that Kunun was her step sister nor had she told him that Kunun had warned her against marrying Angad and Kripa didnt plan on it. It would cause unnecesairy conflicts and no one had shown as much affection, and attention to Kripa and her needs as Angad. Kripa wasnt going to say or do anything to hurt him

"Kripa...we're here" Angad announced a while later
"Oh..kkk....i should go now...i guess" Kripa said looking around for her purse
As Kripa spotted and reached out for her red purse from the back seat her hand hit something sharp and blood spit out of Kripa's hand

"ouch" Kripa said in in pain as Angad bandaged her hand in her hostal room. Aaliyah silently watched.
After a while Angad left telling Aaliyah to take care of Kripa as if her condition was severe.
Aaliya sat beside Kripa and spoke to her in a gentle voice
"wow...he really takes care of you"
Kripa blushed.
"Kripa" Aaliayah said lookin Kripa in the eye " your mom left a message on the phone you want to hear"
"No"Kripa said sternly.
Aaliyah nodded understanding that Kripa had a hint of what it was about..

The following day Kripa had her normal classes. Though she found it hard to concentrate, she stared blankly into the textbook. After about an hour of pretending to read the textbook but actually dreaming about Angad, Aaliyah smacked her head making her realize the principal had called for her

Kripa gently knocked on the principals door.

"You called for me sir?" asked Kripa
"oh yes...have a seat" he said as he gestured to the chair infront of his desk.
"Kripa Sharma...you are a very lucky fellow-" he said
"thankyou sir" Kripa said assuming he was talking about her engagement
" i am assuming by that you already know the good news"
"good news?" said Kripa realizing he wasnt speaking about her engagement.
"yes...you got a scholarship to The Academy Of Art University in San Fransisco...i know your only in grade 11...now but they have seen your work and want you in there university now...they say that your work is magnificent and your artisitic views and work are exactly what they want"
"i cant" shse said regretfully "i am getting married next week and-"
"but your just 17?...and you can go there afterwards..the way they were sounding on the phone they are desperate to have you in there university"
"i know..after marriage i want to live with my family" said Kripa
"oh i understand" he said not looking as if he understood "but if you ever change your mind they will welcome you"
"thankyou" Kripa left after that.
