Chapter 1
This is my first time attempting to write something on mayur.
i really wanna thank ppl @ the paradise who encouraged me n esp rabbia u helped me a lot!
so here goes
Its around 9pm. Everyone is a little disturbed with the recent pool party at Samrat's farm house. Dia is in her room getting ready to sleep. Gunjan is trying to finish Professor Deodhar's project. Uday is busy in the kitchen having his frozen custard. Nupur is sitting in the leaving room near the phone, waiting for someone's call. She has decided to make sure that no one knows how bothered she is about what Sheena did. The phone rings. Nupur grabs it.
N- Hello, Mayank?
M- How do u know its me? It could have been someone else.
N-Because I just know. Anyways kaise ho? Did you miss me? Have you had dinner yet? Mayank tum pe chode to tum to kuch nahi karoge bas side me jaoge aur apni pyaari pyaari books ke saath lag jaoge
M- Nupur mujhe bolne dogi?
N- haan to bolo na! Maine kab roka hai? Itni der se to wait kar rahi hoon ki tum kuch bologe par agar tum bol nahi rahe ho to main kya kar sakti hoon?
M- Nupur main thikh hoon. Tumhe bahut miss kar raha hoon. Dinner abhi nahi khaya hai par tumse baat karte hi khalunga. Mujhe pata hai ki tum party se disturbed ho aur wo chupane ke koshish kar rahi ho.
N- Mayank aisi koi baat nahi
M- Ms Nupur Bhushan, jab tumhe pata hai ki tum mujhse kuch chupa nahi sakti to kyun try karti ho?
N- Nahi main theek hoon
M- (in an accusing tone) Nupur
N- Ok I'm a little disturbed but that's all.
M- Mujhe pata hai ki tumhe kaise khush karna hai
N- Kaise?
M- I love you Nupur!
N- (blushes) I know and thanks
M- usually jab log I love you bolte hai to jawaab aise nahi dete
N- to kaise dete hai?
M- you know how to
N- to main boloon?
M- (sarcastically) nahi, jao apni SRK ki film dekho
N- bolti hoon na taana kyun dete ho? I''I'.
M- I pe hi atki rahogi ya aage bhi kuch bologi?
N- Mayank tum mujhe nervous kar rahe ho
M- Thikh hai main chup rahoonga
N- I'.I'I'Mayank, Uday bhaiya aa rahe hai mujhe jaana hoga. Some other time. Bye!

It is a little after midnight. Nupur had been in her bed for almost an hour now but sleep escapes her
N- (thinking) I couldn't say it again. Why is it so hard for me to say those three simple words? Whenever I look into his eyes all I see is love for me. And I love him too but then why do my lips freeze whenever I am about to say them? I can stand in front of the mirror and say it a thousand times then why can't I say it to him? I know Mayank is desperate to hear them and to some extent even I am to say them. And he deserves it. From small things like complimenting me or calling me at night to bigger things like arranging that wonderful first date for me or diving into the pool to find that locket Mayank has showed his love for me time and time again. And me! Nupur Bhushan can't even say a proper I love you to him! Ye kya ho gaya hai mujhe? Pura din to main bak bak karti hoon to phir kyun me use ye nahi bata pati ke main use kitna pyaar karti hoon?
Thinking this Nupur fell asleep.

Mayank is still not asleep and is thinking about Nupur.
M- Nupur seems really disturbed by that party and Sheena. Kuch to karna hi padega uska mood theek karne ke liye.

It is 8 in the morning. Gunjan is all ready for college and Nupur is still sleeping.
G- Di utho! Its 8! Aap late ho jaogi.
N- Aur 5 min soone do na
G- Di plz aap late ho jaogi phir aap Mayank se bhi nahi mil paogi
Hearing Mayank's name Nupur got up in an instant and started getting ready
N- (speaking in a hurry) Gunjan pehle uthana tha na. Pata nahi tu mujhe kyun itna late utha thi hai. Agar lecture ke kiye late ho gayi to daat padegi. Aur pehla lecture bhi Shukla ka hai! Wo bolenge aaj kal ke cchatro ko to samay ka mulya nahi pata!
G- Di, calm down! Don't worry, we'll make it in time. Main breakfast karne jaa rahi hoon aap tayaar ho kar aa jana.
Nupur got ready and was just about to go downstairs when the phone rang.
N- Hello?
M- Nupur, Mayank bol raha hoon.
N- Oh hi Mayank sorry kal maine aise hi phone rakh diya
M- (cutting her) kuch nahi hota Nupur. Anyways tum aaj college jaa rahi ho?
N- Haan.
M- If u don't mind aaj tum nahi jao to chalega?
N- (excited) Kyun classes cancel ho gayi?
M- nahi I was thinking agar hum kahin bhaar chale to'
N- (full nautanki style) kahin mere kaan to kharaab nahi ho gaye? The Mayank Sharma college topper jo kabhi class galti se bhi miss nahi karta college cchor kar bahaar jaana chahta hai?
M- Ji aapne sahi sunna
N- wah tum kitne badal gaye ho!
M- company ka asar padega hi na!
N- what do u mean by that?
M- kuch nahi to chalogi?
N- sure
M- ok to I'll pick you up in 30 mins
N- ok
Nupur hangs up the phone and goes and tells Gunjan that she won't be going to college today.
As promised Mayank arrived 30 mins later and picked up Nupur.
N- So where are we going?
M- The Beach
N- (excited) wow remember the last time we went there? It was so much fun!
M- tabhi aaj le jaa raha hoon
N- waise aaj kya mood bana ki mujhe bahaar le jaa rahe ho?
M- bas aise hi socha ki first date ke baad second date bhi honi chahiye
N- By God Mayank! Tum sach me kitne badal gaye ho
M- haan main bahut badal gaya hoon. You know Nupur I'm really glad you came into my life
N- Me too Mayank
They reach the beach and find a place to sit.
N- Mayank yaad hai jab hum pehli baar yahaan aaye the? And the fight we had about boys and girls? Aur wo couple yaad hai? They were having an argument too, n I helped solve it.
M- haan yaad hai. That was the time when we had just started getting to know each other.
Mayank notices something and says
M- Nupur wo dekho ice cream wala.
N- Chalo chalte hai na mujhe ice-cream khake kitne din go gaye!
Mayank and Nupur both go to the ice cream wala. They both have strawberry ice cream.
They both spend the whole day at the beach. Remembering and discussing from their first meeting to the confession.
The sun was setting and both of them were enjoying it.
N- sach batao Mayank aaj tum mujhe yahaan kyun laye?
M- (hesitates) wo main
N- bolo Mayank
M- actually Nupur tum party aur sheena ko leke itni upset thi to I thought that maybe coming here would take your mind off of things
N- You were right. It did help me.
M- I'm glad it did.
N- You know what Mayank? I really really love you a lot! And I can't live without you.
Mayank was surprised. He was not expecting Nupur to I love you to him. Nupur on the other hand was really happy that she had finally said what was in her heart.
N- Mayank I said it! Maine bol diya!
M- (smiles) Haan tumne keh diya n you know what? I love you too!
Mayank kisses Nupur's forehead and Nupur hugs Mayank tightly not wanting to let go.
Nupur suddenly felt relieved as if some burden was off her now. And she thanked God for bringing her to Mumbai from Morena, for bringing Mayank into her life and for making them both fall in love with each other, as both of them watched the sun disappear into the sea.
so that was my first one shot
