Muskaan was facing the same sleepless night. Riddima was fast alseep on her bed.

 

Muskaan(to herself) - Riddima is so lucky. She has got someone like Armaan to hold her hand and walk with her.

 

Muskaan sighs.

 

Muskaan(to herself) - Why did you this to me Rahul? Why? Was I not worthy of your love? Why Rahul why?

 

Muskaan(to herself) - I guess, I was never worthy of you Rahul.Never. You are better off with beautiful girls like Trishala. I am not worthy.

 

-The next day in college-

 

Rahul was waiting for Muskaan on the front steps. She soon arrives with Riddima.

 

Riddima sees Rahul waiting for Muskaan, so she walks away.

 

Muskaan walks past Rahul without glancing at him.

 

Rahul - Muskaan?

 

Muskaan doesn't look at him. She continues walking. Rahul holds her hand.

 

Rahul - Muskaan please. Talk to me.

 

Muskaan - Let me go Rahul. There is nothing to talk about anymore.

 

Rahul - Muskaan.Dont this to me please! Just let me explain muself once.

 

Muskaan - You don't have to explain anything Rahul! You wanted to get rid of me, and you have succeeded in that.

 

Rahul - Get rid of you?

 

Muskaan - Yes. Get rid of me. Isnt that what you were trying to do Rahul?

 

Rahul was confused.

 

Rahul - Why would I want to get rid of you?

 

Muskaan - Because you don't love me anymore and hanging around with me is plain embarrassment. Hanging around with Trishala would be much cooler.

 

Rahul was really shocked now. Is that what she thought?

Muskaan was struggling to get out of his grip. But Rahul was too strong for her.

 

He pushed her into a empty classroom and shut the door behind him.

 

Rahul - what do you mean by that sentence you just said?

 

Muskaan looks at him coldly.

 

Muskaan - I am sure I don't have to explain what I meant. You must have understood.

 

Rahul caught Muskaan by the arms.

 

Rahul - You think I wanted to get rid of you?

Muskaan - Yeah.

 

Rahul - You are WRONG Muskaan! I would NEVER want of get rid of you!

 

Muskaan gives him an another cold look.

 

Rahul - Muskaan, don't you understand? You are my life. The very reason I am alive. Dumping you is impossible. You rule over me. Now please forgive me.

 

Muskaan does not say anything.

 

Rahul - Muskaan?

Muskaan looks at him.

 

Muskaan - Did you really mean everything you just said?

Rahul - If course. I did!

 

Muskaan hugs him.

 

Muskaan - I am sorry Rahul. I should have never gone to that party with Rehan.

 

Rahul - And I am sorry for acting like such a jerk yesterday!
