Riddhima looks up at her in shock, but Bey-jee is not able to see the look on her face. She just smiles, kisses her forehead while Armaan turns and looks at her. She had a weird look on her face. Armaan shrugged his shoulders at her to ask, whats wrong…??

 

Riddhima: I don't know how to wear a sari…!!

 

Armaan looks at her and clenches his teeth: uh-oh!!!

10 minutes later.

 

Armaan is holding the sari in his hands and trying to make out where it is tied. Thankfully for them, the sari was already stitched so all they had to do was to put in the pin in the required place and drape it around her. Riddhima is standing in front of him, tapping her foot, on finger on her chin, scrutinizing the sari.

 

Riddhima: hmmmm…I think…iss ko…aissay bandhna hai…(holding the pallu and putting it around her waist)

 

Armaan: no no no…(pulling the sari to himself and opening it fully) I think this part goes here….(holding the sari upside down and putting it to her waist)

 

Riddhima: No wayyy…..this pallu thing goes around the shoulder, not around the waist…

 

Armaan: abbeeyyy yaaaaarrr…(gets irritated, throws the sari on the bed and holds his head) tum esa karo…kuch aur pehen lo…hum koi bahana bana deinge…

 

Riddhima; (glares at him) Armaaaan…Bey-jee ne di hai..i have to wear it na…

 

Armaan: okay then….let me go and call D…pleaaaaaseee…(clasps his hands in front of her)

 

He gets up and walks towards the door but Riddhima holds his hand

 

Riddhima: neeeee naaa…..(cant pronounce NAHI properly)….D ko nahi bulana…

 

Armaan: (hands on his hips, pouts) kyun…kyun nahi bulana…??

 

Riddhima: (grins foolishly) kyunki maine unhain keh dia tha ke…ummm…mujhe sari pehanana ata hai…

 

Armaan: WhAT?? Aur tumhain kiss ne kaha tha yeh over-efficiency dikhanay ke liye…?? (glares at her)

 

Riddhima giggles.

 

Riddhima: achaaa naaaaa…ab to kuch ker nahi sakte….ab tum hi meri help ker sakte ho…

 

Armaan: haan haan…main to larkion ko sariyan hi pehnata rehta hun na, meri to job hai yeh…(being sarcastic)

 

Riddhima: Armaaaannn…(making a cute baby face, pouting, puffing her cheeks) peeech na…(please na, that's what she meant)

 

Armaan looked at her and sighed.

 

Armaan: you and your cheap tricks….you know I cant refuse to that face….(sighs again) acha you go, (picks up the blouse and petti coat and hands it to her) aur yeh pehan ker ao, phir dekhte hain kia kerna hai..ok…??

Riddhima: yaaayyyy, you are the best, thank you!!!

 

She takes the blouse and petti coat and runs into the bathroom, while Armaan shakes his head.

 

Armaan: yaar yeh kiss azaab main phans gaya hun main…

 

Just then his cell rings…Rahul calling.

 

Armaan: hey Rahul…

 

Rahul: hi Armaan…kesa hai…??

 

Armaan: (plops down on the bed) main theek hun yaar…tu bata…kuch baat banni…??

 

Rahul: haan…aissi waissi…I am sitting in the airport terminal right now…

 

Armaan: you…are…NOT!! (sitting up in surprise)

 

Rahul: I am…(smirks) and believe me, I hate you for doing this to me…I mean…Riddhima is my cousin and all, and I love these kids, but trust me…once I get there, you butt is on its way to get kicked…

 

Armaan: awww…come on Rahul….they are adorable kids…I know, you don't like hanging out with kids much…but they are just…..ado-ra-ble…

 

Rahul: yeah yeah I know….

 

Armaan: anyways…when are u landing in here…? Is Muski coming down with you….? And btw, how's my princess…?? (smiles a little)

 

Rahul: I will be landing by 10 at night, there….and no, Muskaan is not coming with me, she will come down in a week or so…and well…your princess is just fine…sitting in my lap right now, for that matter…..(taking to the kid in his lap) hey love, you wanna talk to Armaan…??

 

Armaan ears someone clapping her hands and snatching the phone from Rahul. The next moment, she was on the line.

 

Armaan: hey my princess….

 

The other side: Almaan!!!

Riddhima walks out of the bathroom, clad in the beautiful dark green blouse embroidered with golden thread and beads. The blouse had been a havoc to tie up at the back. She walks towards the mirror and sees Armaan looking at her, putting down the phone at once.

 

Riddhima: (narrows her eyes) who were you talking to…

 

Armaan: no one in particular….woww…(stands up) look at you…you look beautiful…

 

Riddhima turns and glares at him

 

Riddhima: mazak urra rahay ho…??

 

Armaan stifles a laugh and shakes his head to say no

 

Armaan: no…seriously…tum bohat…achi lag rahi ho…bass…thori vulgar lag rahi ho…(laughs)

 

Riddhima glares at him

 

Riddhima: ha-ha-ha…(sarcastically laughs) Armaan, tumhara sense of humor KITNAA acha hai na…

 

Armaan: haan…I know…(winks at her) okay jokes apart…you do look nice, but lets just do something about this saree for now…yea??

 

Riddhima nods. Just then someone knocks on the door.

Sorry for the short part AGAIN, sorry for delaying it AGAIN. BUt i am shit tired and Ma is shouting over my head like anything. So tomorrow, inshallah, if i can, i will update.

One mpore thing, wont update on tuesday, have my papers going on. Plus i am thinkinga bout limiting this ff to one update per week, cuz i am always so busy an stuck up wid things that you guys just keep waiting and i cant update, and then i feel bad. So from now on, i will update only on Saturdays. Sorry guys, but believe me, handling two ffs, college and an angry mom is just out of my league nowadays. Will update more when i have my vacations.
