Chapter 7
The next day everyone was congratulating Angad. Girls flirted with him non-stop all day. The attention reminded him of his high school days. Though, the one person who didn't congratulate him was Kripa.
As he walked out of history class, he saw Kripa and Alliya at Kripa's locker. Kripa and Angad's eyes met, they both froze looking at each other. A little later Angad shook out of his thoughts and headed for class. Alliya excused herself and followed Angad.
Al- Angad! Wait up!
Angad stopped and waited for Alliya to catch up with him.
A- hey
Al- Why didn't you talk to Kripa?
A- Well.....
Al- Well what?
A- She could come up to me and talk to me for once, I'm always the one that has to go to her, but not this time.
Alliya laughed seeing Angad's face.
A- What!
Al- Sorry nothing, your right, this time let Kripa come up to you. Anyways, congrats for making the football team buddy
A- Thanks, but Kripa still hasn't congratulated me.......
Al- So you don't even care that me and the whole school congratulating you, you just want Kripa to congratulate you.......Angad, are you sure your not in love with Kripa?
Angad froze when he heard those words come out of Alliya's mouth. Love? That was something he never experienced, true Mishty claimed she loved him, but her love was one sided. Angad never loved her back. Angad's parents never even checked to see if he was alive or not, so Angad made it a resolution to "stop" loving them. Then Kripa Sharma came into his life, someone Angad was just playing with to get his article done. She attracted Angad towards her, but ....love, naaah.
Al- Angad, Angad!
A- huh. oh what?
Al- I have to go, bye
A- see ya
Around lunch time Angad was ready to sleep. He was so tired. At least at work he could sleep in his office, here he actually had to stay awake. Josh and some guys came and sat next to him.
J- Angad, your sleeping
A- No, I'm trying to sleep
J- oh, well guess what, Ria and I broke up
A- woohoo
J- She dumped me
A- boohoo
J- I really liked her......
Angad put his head up from the table and opened his eyes.
A- Your serious about someone?
J- I don't know....she was someone I could see my living my future with
A- Your only in high school, your not supposed to know who you'll live your future with, in high school all you do is date around, not try to find your soul mate
J- Your acting as if you've been through high school and done with it already
A- well...........
J- huh?
A- nothing, umm if..........if you two are really meant to be, then I guess you'll get together again........just don't think about it too much
J- Your right...., thanks
A- no prob
J- You know, I couldn't believe you made the football team
A- And why not?
J- Because everyone knows Prithvi had to approve you, so I thought since he hates you so much, you wouldn't have got a chance
A- Geez, thanks, I'll catch you later I have to go do something
J- okay, c ya
Angad got up and started to walk out of the lunch room. He was in the hallways when a couple of girls stopped him.
Girl- Hey Angad, I'm Seema
A- ...hey Seema
S- umm I'm throwing a party tonight at my place since my parents are out of town, you should come
A- Thanks, but we don't even know each other....
S- Come on, I only invite cool people to my party, so your pretty lucky, see you at 10
A- Sure
Seema wrote her address on Angad's hand. Angad winked at her as he walked away.
God was obviously on his side because things were going just the way he wanted.
Kripa who was watching this from a distance was going through different emotions. She watched all day as girls hung over Angad. She was even more mad when Angad didn't even make an attempt to get away from them. And Right now he had Seema Sait righting something on his hand, God this made her mad! For some reason her heart was burning.
Prithvi went up to Kripa and kissed her. For some reason, his kiss was different today. He didn't just peck her, his warm lips stayed on hers. A little later they seperated.
P- Kripa you won't believe this!
K- What?
P- My dad got me a new corvet!
K- Wow......congrats!
P- Kripa I know your really not inersted in all this, but I'm picking you up tonight and we'll go to Seema's party, then we'll go out for a spin, okay?
K- ....okay
P- Cool, see ya later
K- bye
Kripa wondered how Prithvi woke up on the right side of bed today. He was acting really nice the last couple of days. She put her thoughts beside and walked down the hallway. When she was passing Angad, she slowed down, hoping maybe he wanted to talk to her or he would say something to her. Angad looked at her and then turned around and opened his locker. He didn't even say a single word to her. Kripa looked at him quickly and quickly walked down the hall and went to class.
