He saw the phone vibrating and picked it up

"Hello !!!!"

"Kahan ho tum ???" 

"Haan bas abhi hospital se nikal ne wala hoon..."

"What ??? Tum abhi tak nikle nahi??? God Arnav.. tum mujhe kab pick karne aaoge... we are getting late."

"Haan Khushi... mai bas nikal raha hoon.. tum ready ho jao.. mai aata hoon..."[Yes I am coming you just get ready.]

"Arnav !!! mai kab se ready hokar hi baithi hoon... tum wait... tum toh abhi tak ready bhi nahi hue hoge..." [I am ready and waiting for you.. wait.. I don't think so that you have got ready till now.]

"Oh God Arnav what are you doing..."

"Khushi relax !!! I am comoing in 15 mins.. I will pick you up and then we will go to my apartment., I will get ready and then we will go.. ok ?"

"What Ok ??? Arnav we gonna be late.. and you know this clearly how much work I have to do.. after all I am from Boy's side..."

"Khushi ! Don't panic .. relax... lawyers should never panic... or else they will loose the case.. isn't it.. you shouldn't loose your calm... and moreover tum jab tak nahi jaogi, shadi toh kya.. dulha sehra bhi nahi baandhega...Aakash shaadi nahi karega.. now phone rakho I am coming. "

And saying this he disconnected he phone and almost ran out of the hospital building towards the garage.

He was driving towards Laxminagar when his phone started ringing again and he turned his Bluetooth on and said

"Hello !!"

"Sir... aap aur Khushi ka baa rahe ho ???"

"Payal we will be reaching within half an hour.. please.. shadi start nahi honi chahiye... or else Khushi will kil me.."

Payal laughed and said

"Sir you and Khushi are our most important guests , and moreover sir muhrat have not started yet , so you guys come slowly ."

"Ok Thank you Payal.. we will be there soon."

He turned his Bluetooth off and took a deep breathe of relief and drove towards Laxminagar.

Around 11 pm all rituals got completed, and even Payal's bidaai was done.

Arnav was amused , how much both Payal and Khushi cried.

Finally getting inside the car, and starting it Arnav asked

"Khushi... why were you crying.. it was Payal's bidaai.."

"So what.. mai toh aapne bare mein soch kar ro rahi thi..."

"What ???" he asked shocked

"Haan... meri bhi toh bidaai hogi... na iss tarah..."

"Khushi !!!"

"I also have to leave my bauji , amma , buaji ..."

"Khushi if you are so sad.. then you can live with them.. I don't have any  problem."

"Hawww... No.. I want to live with my husband."

And Arnav chuckled and Khushi said

"Btw use mujhe yaad aaya.. hum kahaan ja rahe hai.."

"to your home.."

"No..."

"What no ??" he asked looking confused.

"I want to go to the apartment.. I have forgotten something there.."

"Don't worry... mai tumhe kal pahucha dunga..."

"No Arnav its very important..."

"Ok fine..." and they drove towards his apartment.

After half an hour , when they stopped infront of the building , she said

"You wait here.. I will go quickly and bring it.."

"You sure ??"

"Ya "

And she rushed out of the car towards the building.

After almost 10 mins , she came back and knocked at the window, on his side.

He got down and she smiled , one of her most heartwarming smile and then within a flash she was sitting on her knees infront of him.

He looked at her with confusion and asked,

"What are you doing Khushi ??"

And from her other hand , she brought out a small box and opened it , and picking the platinum love band said

"Will you marry me Arnav Singh Raizada.. will you like to spend your whole life with me???"

"Obviously I will Khushi..."

Saying this he kneeled down beside him and hugging her said

"But you don't need to do all this.. its my duty to..."

"No its not Arnav... you already did your duty.. you CURED me.. you SAVED me... you already made me fall in LOVE with you.. you already made me realize that its NEVER TOO LATE... for anything in life.. you have done your each and every duty perfectly... so its my turn to give you a chance to choose whether you want to spend your whole life with me.."

He touched his forehead with hers and said

"Obviously I want... but Khushi I didn't bought you any ring."

"Arnav I am yours right from the night you gave me this bangles.."

She said showing her hands , and he smiled the kind of smile that made her heart stop for once more , literally ;) .

She slowly took his right hand and slowly slid the love band in his ring finger , and he looked at it for once and then a her face and then slowly bend down and sealed his lips with hers , and then all of a sudden breaking the kiss with a slight grin he said

"You have become better in this..."

"Yes ... I know.. after all I am being trained by you."

He chuckled and reached for her lips again.

Its... NEVER TOO LATE .
