Taani and Rey are neighbour and childhood friends but he leave India bcoz his parents shifted to US but he promise Taani to meet her when they re grown 

It's last day of 2022 a girl is writing at big ballon 

I hope you are fine,it's 20 years we haven't meant you left for US when we are just 6.

Ab tak to mujhe bhul gye hoge na.

Kher koi nhi tum nhi to tumhari yade sahi.

Aj sal khtm hua 

Kal se tumhari yadon ke sath new life start hogi 

Happy New year Rey.

After writing this she fly that ballon and smile 

A man come out from his car open his car door and ballon land in front of him 

He see big balloon and pick it.

He start reading it and smile 

He thinks how stupid you are.

Tum kese soch sakti ho tumhara Rey tumhe bhul jayega Taani

His friend who is sitting in car and look at this 

He come out

Ravi( Rey friend): how you know y teri taani ne likha h

Rey: kyunki y usi ne likha h.

Bachpan me mene usko kha tha ki apne dil ki bat jab dil me na reh paye to ballon me likh dena or usko fly kr dena.

Or dekh isme to likha bhi h 

Happy New year Rey

Ravi: but y usne likha ho jaruri nhi h,duniya me bht sari taani h or agar wo tujhe bhul gyi hogi to,or uski jindagi me koi or hua toh

Rey: toh uski marji 

Agar wo mujhe bhul gyi,kisi or ko psand krne lgi to wo insan mujhse behtar hoga or me uski life se chala jaunga 

Lekin phle me ek bar usse mil toh lu,jan tu lu wo kya chati h 

Kal sal ke phle din me usko bht special feel karwaunga

Ravi: tu toh uske liye kar hi rha h,usko lgta h uske college ki padhai ki fees uska scholarship se mila h but she is average student to kese milta 

Tu hi uska sab kharch kar rha h

Rey: tu kya hua wo average h to, average h to kya meri taani ko padne ka haq nhi h is duniya me sahi glt janne ka haq nhi

Ravi: bht pyar krta hena tu usse

Rey: ha

Ravi: aj sal ke akhiri din meri bhagwan se dua h tujhe Tera pyar mil jaye..

Rey hug Ravi

Next day

Taani come out from her home and take taxi for her college but taxi change route 

Taani become tense

Taxi stop it in front of one garden 

She come out and see a ballon

With written.

And a person holding it but his face is not visible bcoz of big ballon

Tumne soch bhi kese liya tumhara Rey tumhe bhul jayega

Ek ek din sirf tumse milne ke intejar me guzara h

Taani rush towards ballon and see he remove ballons in front of his face

Taani: Rey

Her eyes filled with tears after seeing her friend,her childhood love

Rey remove her tears with his hand

Rey: rulane ko thodi wapis aya ho 

Royogi to wapis chala jaunga

Taani : khabardar ab Jane ki bat ki toh itne sal sirf apke intezar me bitaye h ab pls mujhe chord ke mat jana.

Bht pyar krti hu apse 

Rey look at her and cup her face

Rey: you love me

Taani : ji but agar apko koi or psand h to koi bat nhi 

Rey: I love you only wo bhi bachpan se 

I promise ab me khi nhi jaunga

He kiss her forehead

She put her head on his heart'

They enjoy their new year together

He take her in special area which is fully decorated with flowers but what gain her attention is flower jhula

She remember in childhood he use to make jhula for her 

That was childish jula but this is so perfect but his efforts to make her feel special and his feelings for her always pure

Taani: isko apne banaya hena

He nodded his hand in yes

She hug him

They hold hands and goes towards that jhula 

They both seat there in each other arms 

Than Rey order cake and food

They both feed each other and than happily enjoy 

Than 

They take a big ballon and write

We promise to each other now we going to celebrate each day of our life with each other 

Happy New year 

And fly it with smile on their faces 

New year bring hapiness in their life
