Part 17: #MaAn ki shaadi begins!

As they reached the gate of the colony, where the cars and their families were waiting..

Devika saw them first..

Devika:" Ye dekho.. humaara hero apni heroine ko baahon me uthake aa raha hai"

As Anuj kept Anu down, Mukku ran to her and hugged her

Mukku:" Bhabhi.. aap world ki prettiest bride lag rahi ho"

Everyone else did the same, going to hug her and praise her beauty..

Anuj, pouting:" Haan sab sirf dulhan ki taareef karo.. iss bichare dulhe ko toh koi dekh hi nahi raha.. "

Everyone went to him and crushed him in a tight group hug....

Anuj:" Huhhh..basss...bas yaar chodo.. saans toh lene do...huffff... tumhaari mummy ke liye mujhe one piece me chod do please"

Anu blushed, as everyone teased them...and complemented them about how beautiful they looked as a couple...

Anuj walked up to Anu..and put his arm around her shoulder..and looked at her

Anuj:" hum bane tum bane ek duje ke liye"

And he winked at Anu.. making her blush even more.. and she smiled happily..

Anu:" Ab chale.. shaadi ke muhurat ka time hojayega.."

Dolly:" Oye hoye... dulha dulhan dono ko shaadi ki kitni jaldi hai haan"

Samar:" Mummy, aap uss white waali car me jaiye devika maasi ke saath..aur Anuj papa aap woh red waali car me, Mukku ke saath"

Anuj:" Haan chalo.. Anu pehle tum aaram se car me baitho..phir main jaunga...and he held her hand with one hand of his, and held up her lehenga from one side.. and led her to the car, opening the door for her as he always did.. he helped her sit down, taking care that she didn't bump her head on the car roof, then he held her lehenga and put it inside

Anuj:" Anu...tumne tumhaare lehenge pe mera naam likhwaaya hai??"

Anu:" Aapka nahi..hum dono ka.. Anuj Ki Anupama aur Anupama ke Anuj...aapne abhi dekha.. main kabse intezaar kar rahe thi ki aap kab dekhenge.."

Anuj:" Are meri jaan tumhaare chehre se nazar hi nahi hat ti.. lehenga kaise dekhta"

And he kissed her cheek..as her cheeks matched the color of her lehenga..

Devika:" Arre mere lovebirds bas karo yaar... shaadi hojaane do phir puri life romance karte rehna"

They all settled into their respective cars and went towards the venue, the Krishna temple...but before that, they had decided to have the baarat and the bride's entry in a grand way in an open lawn near the temple..

As the cars parked there, The groom waited at one end of the lawn for the bride, and the guests along the sides..

Anu's family stood in front of her car door, covering her view using colorful dupattas, as she stepped out of the car..

As the background music of Jashn-e-Baharaa began playing, they slowly stepped back, pulling down one dupatta after another, revealing the bride part by part, starting from her feet... finally, when she was completely visible, dancing gracefully on Jashn-e-bahaara.. giving royal vibes, she looked ethereal..and Anuj, was mesmerized by her beauty and grace once again... as the song came to an end...Anuj and his squad - Bunty, Devika, Mukku, GK started dancing...

Anuj was now visible as Bunty and GK stepped aside, and so did Devika and Mukku..

He gave super cute expressions, trying to convey to her how desperate he was to get married to her..and she laughed at his adorable puppy face..

The five of them danced to the fullest, GK being the most energetic!!!

He twirled Mukku and Devika...

He danced with Bunty and GK ... dramatically falling back on them...

All of them danced happily...and Anu was grooving too.. she was shy, but that wouldn't stop her from enjoying her wedding with the love of her life!!

Anuj came forward and did some solo steps...

Anu set aside all her inhibitions and danced joyously, letting the world know, that she was his, and he was hers, forever!!

Hey Ya... Hey Ya...

Everyone was dancing, the entire family..

As the song ended, and MaAn walked towards each other...the kids stepped in between them..

Anuj:" Arre kya hua..??"

Samar:" Anuj papa.. mummy itni mehnat se taiyaar hui hai sirf aapke liye...aapne akele me unki taarif ki hogi.. par aapko abhi sabke saamne batana hoga ki aapko kaisa lag raha hai mummy ko dekh kar..."

Anuj:" Buddy, I'm ready...Pakhu..Meenu..idhar aao"

He whispered something to them...and they ran to the musicians...giving some instructions..and grabbing a mic to give it to Anuj..

The musicians started playing and Anuj started singing...looking just at Anu..

Tere khayalon mein beete yeh raatein

As he completed the song, he just forwarded his hand to Anu...and she took it..as they started walking to the temple hand-in-hand...

All the decorations were done so well... shiny sequined dupattas and flowers... and in the centre of the temple, the priest was sitting by the holy fire...

They removed their footwear, held hands and also Anu's heavy lehenga..and climbed the stairs...

As they reached the place where they had sat on their first visit to the temple together...they looked at each other...recollecting how she had told him that she didn't need a life partner...and now here she was, all set to spend her entire life with him...just how fast the night changes....
