Part 6 - Family time and Romance

Anu opens the bag Mukku had given her, and sees a beautiful sky blue salwar kameez with sequins.. and some pretty pearl stud earrings ..

She got dressed and kept her hair open, as she knew her Anuj liked it that way...

She also applied some kohl on her eyes and lip gloss... she did not need any other makeup as she knew she is going to blush a lot in the next few days! She applied a small bindi on her forehead and looked at her reflection in the mirror..  imagining how her bholuram would react seeing her like this.. how she would enjoy his eyes on her all evening.. 

Devika came inside the room and called her.. but Anu was too busy daydreaming about her shayar kapadia to pay attention to her..

Devika had a mischievous thought.. she slowly walked beside Anu and kissed her cheek..

Anu broke out of her daydream and exclaimed "Anuj" and smilingly turned around to see Devika laughing..

Anu:" Devika tu yaha"

Devika:" Sorry yaar yahan tere Anuj ko hona chahiye tha na"

Anu:" Tu kab aayi"

Devika:" Tabhi jab tu uss US return shayri karne waale gadhe ke sapne dekh rahi thi"

Anu:" Mere Anuj ko gadha mat bolne🥺

Ab woh tere hone waali jiju hain"

Devika:" Jiju baadme pehle dost hai woh mera.. chal ab jaldi.. and don't worry.. main Anuj ko tera message de dungi"

Anu:" Konsa msg devu?"

Devika:" Arre meri bholi Anu.. yahi ki woh.. tujhe.. jaldi se.. kiss karde.. kyuki tu uske kiss ke liye tadap rahi hai"

Anu grabs a comb and runs behind her..

Devika rushes outside and hides behind bapuji and GK..

Bapuji:" Beta kya hua? Aise kyu bhaag rahi hai hai iske peeche"

Samar:" Haan mummy.. bilkul Tom & Jerry lag rahe ho dono.."

GK: " Haan Anu beta.. tu bhi kya.. tera romeo bahar intezaar kar raha hai aur tu uski juliet banne ki jagah yaha tom and jerry khel rahi hai.. mera bichara beta.. not done maan"

Devika:" Kya sahi example diya hai GK" and gives him a hi-fi..

Everyone laughs.. and Anu starts blushing..

Her mom and Kinjal come to her rescue and take her outside..

She sees Anuj.. looking extremely handsome in a lemon yellow T-shirt and blue jeans..

Ufffff how she loved lemons.. from childhood.. she wished he could just grab this lemon and...

Anu put a break on her thoughts and chided herself.. but again thought to herself.."ab mere bholuram hain hi itne handsome" and blushed to herself..

Anuj was spellbound seeing her.. it was the second time he was seeing her in a salwar suit after college.. and he loved how she managed to take his breath away everytime.. he saw her blushing and lost in her thoughts.. so he caught her eye and raised his eyebrows.. as if asking what happened.. she nodded sideways.. gesturing nothing..

Mukku:" Tum dono ka aankho aankho waala romance hogaya ho toh chalein???"

Anuj walks to Anu, slips his hand into hers and says.. chalein..

Anu smiles and nods..

While the others go "AWWWWWW"

They finally make their way to the cars waiting under the building..

Bapuji, GK, Anu's mom and her brother in one car

Samar, Kinjal, Dolly, Meenu and Sanjay in one car

And Mukku, Devika, Anuj and Anupama in one..

They all left..

In the car.. Devika was driving, Mukku was sitting beside her.. and the two lovebirds were sitting behind.. as Devika started .. Mukku turned on the music .. the song chashni started to play..

Zubaan hai pheeki shaam se

Hui na tose baat bhi

Bina main tere bemaza

Hua hoon dekho aaj bhi

Anuj looked at Anu and gestured her to come closer

Karun main ye guzaarishein

Mohabbaton ka mol de

Neendon mein meri khwaab ka

Zara sa meetha ghol de

Anu shifted closer to him..and put his arm around her shoulder..

Tu ban ja, ban ja tu meri

Tu ban ja, ban ja tu meri

Tu ban ja, ban ja, ban ja

Ban ja tu meri

Ishqe di chashni

Oh mitthi mitthi chashni

Anu shifted a bit more.. leaving no space between them and placed her head on his chest.. and lovingly looked up at him.. he kissed her forehead gently and then looked into her eyes..

The rest of the song continued playing.. the car continued moving.. and the two people on the backseat were lost in each other's eyes.. conversing a language that no one could understand except them..

Mukku and Devika did not have the heart to interrupt them.. not even to tease them.. they sat silently.. happy that these two people had finally got what they had yearned for all their life..

As they reached their destination, Devika and Mukku called out to them, but they were too engrossed in each other's eyes to know about their surroundings.. so devika pressed the horn loudly.. making them aware of what was happening.. the slowly parted...

Anuj:" Hum pohoch gaye? Itni jaldi?"

Mukku:" Bhai 2 ghante se upar hogaya hai.. ab nahi pohochenge toh kab pochenge?"

Anu:" Par hum hain kaha.. aur iss wakt yaha kyu aaye hain??"

Mukku:" Andar chalo Anu darling sab pata chala jaayega"

They all got down and saw that the families had already arrived.. they were standing at the entrance of a huge palace resort on the outskirts of Ahemdabad..

Anuj:" Mukku ye kya.."

Mukku:" Maine kaha tha na bhai sangeet ka venue main decide karungi.. toh yeh hai aap dono ke sangeet ka venue.. aur sangeet ke pehle kal subhe aap dono ka pre wedding shoot bhi yahin par hoga.. "

Devika:" Toh ab kal subhe tum dono ka pre wedding photoshoot, kal shaam ko sangeet.. uske baad raatko yahin tum dono ki bachelor/Bachelorette party hogi.. puri raat party hogi parso subhe thoda rest karenge.. phir shaadi ke kapde leke designer aayenge toh hum sab kapde try karlenge aur agar kuch problems hui toh woh on the spot theek kardenge.. uske baad pool party.. phir raatko ghar chale jaayenge and dusre din shaadi.. uss din ka aur uske baad ka plan parso batayenge..ghar jaate wakt.."

Anu was in tears..

Anuj:" Anu tum phir ro rahi ho"

He put his arm around her shoulder, and held it tight....

Anu (still crying): " Aap sab log humse itna pyaar karte hain.. humaare liye itna sab kuch kar rahe hain.. thenk you.."

Anuj hugs her.. and though she is a bit hesitant at first in front of everyone.. she relaxes..and he pats her head and calms her down..

Meenu:" Aap log bhi na humesha senti ho jaate ho.. chalo na ab andar bohot neend aa rahi hai.."

They went inside the resort...

Mukku: "Kinjal woh rooms ki list tumhaare paas thi na please zara batao na.."

Kinjal:" Haan toh total 7 rooms honge

1) GK and Anuj ji

2)Dolly fui,  Meenu

3) Mummy, Devika masi

4) Mama(Anu's brother) , Nani

5) Bapuji, Mamaji

6) Kinjal, Mukku

7) Samar, Sanjay fua

Mukku:" Samar chalo hum sabke rooms ki keys leke aate hain"

Anuj:" Chalo main bhi aata hun"

They all go near the reception counter

Anuj:" Mukku, meri pyaari behena.. please ek kaam karegi apne bhai ka?"

Mukku:" Kya baat hai bhai itna makkhan kyu laga rahi ho?"

Anuj:"woh.. please mera aur Anu ka room ek dusre ke side me rakhna pleaseee"

Mukku:" accha ji.. apni aashiqui ke liye behen pe itna pyaar aa raha hai haan"

Anuj:" Bacchi please naaaa"

Mukku:" Thike thike"

Samar:" Awwww"

They take the keys and go to the rest of the family..

Mukku:" Ye lo sabki keys.. second floor ke rooms humaare hain -

201- Anuj, GK

202- Anu, Devika

203- Mukku, Kinjal

204- Bapuji, Mamaji

205- Anu's mom, Anu's brother

206 - Dolly, Meenu

207- Samar, Sanjay

Chalo ab sab jaldi se fresh hojao phir dinner pe milenge"

They leave to their respective rooms..

Anuj asks GK to freshen up first..

Anu asks Devika to freshen up first..

Then Anuj calls Anu..while Anu calls him.. and both find the call busy..

They're both desperate to see each other.. so Anuj decides to go to Anu's room.. and Anu does the same..

And they both open their doors and step out at the same time..

Anuj:" Anu"

Anu:"Anuj"

Then both speak simultaneously-"Tumhaari/aapki yaad aa rahi thi" and laugh..

Anuj opened his arms and she hugged him..

Anu:" Anuj.. mujhse aur intezaar nahi ho raha.. mann toh karta hai ki bas abhi shaadi karlu aapse"

Anuj:" Anuu.. shaadi toh bas formality haina..main toh humesha se tumhaara hu..aur ye kya haan.. tum toh sach me 26 saansein bhi nahi reh sakte mera bina.. itni jaldi miss kar rahi thi mujhe hmm.."

She hit him lightly on his back, where her hand was..

Anu:" Toh aap nahi kar rahe miss mujhe?"

Anuj didn't reply...but hugged her tighter, and she had her answer...

They both were just standing there in the corridor, hugging each other, with eyes closed, content..

They didn't realise that they had left the doors of their rooms open.. and Devika came out, and saw them like that.. she held both their arms and pulled them into her and Anu's room.. and closed the door..

Devika:" Besharm hogaye ho tum dono.. Anuj ka toh pata tha par Anu tu bhi?"

Anuj:" Ek minute.. Anuj ka toh pata tha matlab?"

Devika:" Chup kar.. Agar Bapuji ya Anu ki mummy ne dekh liya hota toh.. kya sochte woh tumhaare baare ne haan.. aise public me ye sab"

Anuj mumbles : " Ek toh kabab me haddi ban gayi aur phir daat bhi rahi hai"

Devika hears him and pulls his ear

Devika:" accha beta.. college se leke abhi tak teri lovestory ke peeche sabse zyada mehnat maine ki hai.. ab shaadi hone waali hai toh kabab me haddi haan?"

Anu:" Chod de ne unko Devika.. suri.. woh haan meine toh socha hi nahi ki koi dekh lega toh.. mujhe bas Anuj ki bohot yaad aa rahi thi.. isiliye main unse milne chali gayi.."

Devika:" Oye hoye.. meri Anu toh iss gadhe ke pyaar me puri tarah se pagal ho chuki hai.. hey kanhaji, pehle toh bas ek aashiq ko sambhalti thi..ab do ko kaise sambhalu"

Anuj:" Devu.. sun na.. please hum dono ko thodi der time spend karna hai akele.. kuch kar na please 🥺"

Devika:" Accha beta, kabab me haddi se seedha Devu? Chal abhi nikal GK tujhe dhundne aaye usse pehle apne room me jaa... baadme dekhungi agar kuch ho sake tumlogo ke liye.. chalo byeee milte hain dinner pe.. and almost pushed him outside the room"

Anuj:" byee.. arre ruk na Anu ko toh bye bolne de.."

He walks up to Anu, kisses her cheek and says milte hain.. Anu whispers bye too.. and he runs away... leaving her smiling and blushing..

Devika:" Itni himmat aa gayi haina tere bholuram me.. not bad..waise.. tune nahi diya kiss?"

Anu:" woh maine unse kaha hai mai shaadi ke baad roz dungi.."

Suddenly realising what she was saying.. she stopped and bit her tongue.. blushing profusely..

Devika :" Arre wahh.. I am so proud of you Anu.. tum dono toh meri expectations se kaafi zyada aage nikle.. accha bata.. aur kya kya planning ki hai shaadi ke baad ke liye? Honeymoon ke liye kaha jaha rahe ho?"

Anu:" Woh main unse puchne hi waali thi par reh gaya"

Anu, realising she again blurted out whatever was in her mind without thinking, blushes and scolds herself to act normal.. Excusing herself to go the washroom, she tries to rush away..

Devika:" Toh dinner ke baad puch lena tere unse... hmm.. aur madam mujhse sharmaane ke zarurat nahi hai.. best friend hu teri.. tu mujhse sab kuch bina embarass ya awkward feel hue share kar sakti hai"

Anu nodded.. and went to freshen up..

Anu, to herself:" ye inki ek kiss se meri aisi haalat hai.. toh shaadi ke baad mera kya hoga"

And blushed again at her thoughts..

She was extremely happy nowadays.. always kept smiling and blushing, all because of her Anuj..

Devika shouted:" Anu sharmaana hogaya ho toh ab aaja bahaar"

Anu went outside, her face still red, and hugged Devika..

Anu:" Devika.. thenk you.. bohot bohot thenk you.. main bohot khush hu.."

Devika:" Chal pagli ab rulayegi kya.. tu aur Anuj duniya ki saari khushiyaan deserve karte ho.. ab chal.. dinner ke liye chalte hain..

They went outside.. and saw Anuj waiting..

Devika:" Kya hua Anuj.. tu yaha?"

Anuj:" Haan woh baaki sab neeche gaye par maa ko kuch help chahiye thi toh Mukku unke saath hai.. main unn dono ka wait kar raha tha..dekho.. aa gaye woh log.."

Mukku:" Anu ab maine decide kiya hai ki main bhi tumhari mummy ko maa keh kar bulaungi.. Anuj bhi bulaata haina.. toh main bhi wahi bulaungi.. chalo maa...neeche restaurant me jaate hain"

Mukku and Anu's mom started ahead, Devika joined them.. while Anu went to Anuj and held his hand.. and they both went down hand in hand.. and sat at the table with the others..

They had dinner, and Anuj and Anu fed each other a few bites, and Anu was constantly blushing as Anuj kissed her fingertips while eating..Anuj had also removed his shoes and was running his foot on Anu's foot.. and she was getting goosebumps.. she was so enjoying this chupke chupke romance in front of everyone..

Finally, they all completed dinner.. and went back to their rooms.. Anu and Anuj didn't get a chance to be alone all this while..

Devika saw Anu was a bit restless... and picked up the phone to call Anuj..

Devika:" Anuj woh Anu ke bag ka lock nahi khul raha aake help karna please.."

As Anuj came..

Devika:" Main zara Mukku se moisturizer leke aati hu.. 10 min hain.. enjoy "

And winked and left..

Anuj:" Anu bag ka lock?"

Anu, sitting on the bed:" woh Devika ne aise hi bola tha aisa kuch nahi hua hai.."

Anuj sat beside her

Anu:" Anuj.. aapse kuch puchna tha"

Anuj:"haan pucho na"

Anu:" Humaara woh kaha hoga? "

Anuj:" Woh?"

Anu:" Woh woh.. jo shaadi ke baad hota haina"

Anuj, raising his eyebrows and shifting a bit closer to her.. looking straight into her eyes, huskily says,

Anuj:" Kya hota hai shaadi ke baad Anu?"

Anu: "H..hon.. woh joh shaadi ke baad ghumne jaate haina woh.."

Anuj:" Accha ji.. toh meri girlfriend honeymoon ke liye bohot zyada excited hai.."

Anu:" Girlfriend?"

Anuj:" Haan.. abhi humaari shaadi nahi hui toh main tumhara boyfriend aur tum meri girlfriend!! Accha batao.. tumhe kaha jaana hai honeymoon ke liye?"

Anu:" Kahi bhi chalega.. mujhe toh bas aapke saath akele kuch time chahiye"

Anuj:" Maine humaara honeymoon plan kar liya hai sweetheart.. tumhaare liye surprise hai..  bohot mazza aayega.."

Devika comes in..

Devika:" Hogaya tum dono ka? Ab chalo jao.. aur so jao.. Anuj khabardaar jo Anu ko aadhi raat ko call kiya toh.. kal dono ke faces pe dark circles honge toh photos kaise acche aayenge.."

Anuj says goodnight to both of them.. I love you to Anu, and thanks to Devika..

They go to sleep too.. eager to wake up to a beautiful day!

I was going to include the pre-wedding shoot but it is already so long..

Hope it didn't seem too stretched.. but I like to have small small romantic/family/teasing moments.. these are always wonderful special memories to look back!!
