And yes it is too a old one, based on the track of pre-leap.

                     You Belong To Me 

Years have passed to Anirudh Roy Choudhury and Bondita Roy Choudhury breaking their marriage. Life got even more complicated after that. And to add to it came Bondita's Thakumaa in between them but admist all these happenings one think was constant or was growing, the bond between the two.

Being pissed with all the actions of Anirudh, Thakumaa let Bondita to study with the one condition that she won't meet Anirudh or talk to him ever and Bondita promised that. But our stubborn Anirudh still didn't leave and stayed as the neighbour of Thakumaa but this time Bondita didn't pay any heeds to him, pleasing Thakumaa and also to keep her away from Anirudh she sent her to hostel making Anirudh elated.

But little did Thakumaa knew, this was the plan of her little granddaughter and her Sakha babu. She didn't knew that Bondita Das was ready to break all promises made, for her Sakha babu and their dream and she did the same. Bondita being away from the eyes of Thakumaa it was easy for her to talk to Anirudh and sent letters to him. And then they would meet secretly every time Bondita returned from hostel, this continued over the years. 

Steading from the eyes of the family these two would meet below the big tree that has always hid them from the world's eye.

It's been 6 years now and completing her schooling 18 years old Bondita is now studying Barristery in Calcutta and in all these years her Sakha babu has been her strength, protecting and guiding her every time she needed him. They still possessed the same respect and care for each other and with this something else too was brewing between the two, love.

It was not the love that Krishna had for Arjun but the love Krishna had for Radha.

Both their hearts knew and it was enjoying this new found feeling. Bondita being still in teenage, this all felt as a fairytale for her. And for Anirudh he felt as if he was living a different life. Loving Bondita and being loved by her was never imagined by him in his wildest dreams too. But life blessed him. 

And now Anirudh Roy Choudhury was heed over heels in love with his little Sakhi. He would blush more of often thinking about her and same was for Bondita. Apart from study it was the thoughts of her Sakha babu that surrounded her all day. They both now started to look forward to Bondita's holidays excitedly so that she would be back home and meet him. Anirudh controlled his urge to travel Calcutta to meet her not to create any problems and the phone conversations kept him going.

Finally it was a holiday for Bondita and she was back. Steading from everyone's attention she called to the next side of the haveli expecting the sweet voice of her Sakha babu instead it was her Trilochan kaka. She greeted him and being well aware of the situation brewing between them, teasing her he asked, "wese Bondita betiya tum Thakumaa se chup ke mere haal chaal puchne kliye toh nehi telephone kiya hai naa ab batao baat kya hai??" 

And stammering she replied,"woh woh Sakha babu..unse.." and cutting her and suppressing his laugh Kaka said,"samjh gaya samjh gaya tum samay batado mein bol dunga usse pahunchne kliye..abhi woh ghar pe nehi hai.." and blushing she replied,"3 baje.." and cutting the call with a flushed face ran to her room.

Dressed in a red chiffon saree, the jewelleries adoring her and long hairs flowing in the wind she sat there waiting for her Sakha babu all dressed up for him. About half a minute later came Anirudh smiling widely at her, making her cheeks to turn shades of red. It's not new, he was affecting her for days now. His words in the phone, his soft voices, his letters to her, everything made her to blush as he would cage her thoughts. 

Glancing at the beauty infront of him, Anirudh sat next to her. And starting the conversation he asked,"kab ayi tum aur batayi kyu nehi?? Direct phone pe hi bol rahi ho" and grinning wide she replied,"apko surprise dena tha.."  

When Anirudh asked, "aur woh kyu??" she looking down replied, "baaas ese hi..batake ati toh apka ye jo khusi wala chehera kaha dekhne ko milta..aur wese bhi mein bata deti k a rahi hun toh aap din bhar pareshan rehte mein pahunchne tak" 

 Anirudh nodding his head was about to say something but masking a gloomy face she said,"pure che mahine baad hum mil rahe hain aur aap ye kya sawal puch rahe hain?? apne toh bataya bhi nehi mein kaisi lag rahi hun.." and muttered under her breath,"apke liye taiyar hui lekin apko toh padi bhi nehi hai.." but Anirudh heard it and apke liye taiyar hui made him to blush slightly. 

He looked at her flawless face, the red has enhanced her beauty even more and now his gaze was making her cheeks match the colour of her saree. And then gazing at her kajal stroke eyes he replied,"humesha ki tarah khub shundoor.." and she lowered her eyes blushing after hearing, what she was waiting for.

But then again continued gloomily, "do din baad wapas chali jaungi mein hostel, pata nehi phir kab chutti milegi..Aap toh Calcutta ate jate rehte hai kamse..toh phir mujhse milne kyu nehi ate??" and looking at her sad face he sighed and said, "tumhe toh wajah pata hai naa Bondita, nehi asakta mein tumhara hostel, agar kisine bhi Thakumaa ko galti se bata diya toh.." 

And imagining the consequences he replied,"afat ajayegi Bondita aur humara itne saal ka sapna bikhar jayegaa, Itne saal gujar liya toh baas do tin saal aur gujar lenge na hum" and keeping his palm above hers he asked,"hai naa Bondita?? "

And she nodding her head and said,"sab samjhti hun mein par kya karun..kabhi kabhi apse ye doori bardast nehi hoti.." and he smiled at her statement, when it was about their relationship Bondita would never shy away from saying what was on her mind.

 And he replied, this time holding her palm in between his both palms,"mujhe bhi kaha pasand tumse dur rehna Bondita.." and lifting her chin up and indicating her to smile like always he continued, "baas jab bhi tumhari yaad ati hai aur mein dukhi hota hun toh tumhe apni degree aur Barrister robe mein imagine karta hun aur mera sara dard phur ho jata hai.." 

Bondita laughed lightly at his saying and he got himself drowned in her laughter and seeing him lost she called him softly,"Sakha babu.." and when he looked at her, she encircled her hands around his arm and rested her head on his shoulder. And Anirudh closed his eyes feeling the moment. 

It felt bliss. 

But then blushing slightly and stammering a little Bondita asked, that she from many days was eager to ask him because she didn't want to just feel it but hear from him also. 

And still her head resting on his shoulders she asked slowly,"Sakha babu ek baat puchu apse??" and he said softly, "pucho Bondita.." and stammering she continued, "aapko yaad hai?? aapne kaha tha humara rishta Krishna aur Arjun jaisa hai..aap meri dost aur margdarshak aur mein apki sishya.." And not understanding what she wanted to say he said,"haan Bondita yaad hai mujhe..maine kaha tha lekin kya hua??" 

Then hesitating she said, "toh ab bhi humara rishta sirf wahi hai kya ab bhi aap sirf mere margdarshak hai??" and she closed her eyes afraid of his reaction and he loosening his hand from her hold straightened, to look at her and she opened her eyes, her eyes meeting his and he tried to find answer in them, instead he found fear and some hope and he closed his own eyes making himself ready to answer her question, he knew time has come to let free the string of hearts, time has come to give words to the feelings. 

He opening his eyes smiled at her and placing his palm on her cheek looked in her eyes and she lowered hers but he continued, "tum sirf meri sishya nehi mere jivan ka lakshya ho Bondita, mere jine ki wajah ho tum Bondita, duniya ho tum meri, tumhare bina ye Anirudh adhura hai" and blushing slightly he replied,"jaise Krishna adhure hai apni Radha k bina.." 

And then she looked up meeting his eyes and he said again, "mein agar Krishna hun toh tum sirf Arjun nehi meri Radha bhi ho Bondita" and he said smiling, "aur ye baat tum bhi achi tarah se janti ho, tumhari jagah kya hai mere dil mein, hai naa??"

she nodded her head as happy tears tricked down her cheeks. And then overwhelmed with happiness she hugged him, placing her head on his chest and he happily pulled her towards him more. And she still in the same position listening to the rhythm of his heartbeats said, "apke bina bhi ye Bondita adhuri hai Sakha babu..aap sansar hai mere.."

But breaking the hug she looked at him and said little tensely"par aage kya hoga?? Sab log ghar pe??" and cupping her both checks he said,"unki chinta mat karo tum Bondita, ekbaar tumhari padhai puri ho jayee toh phir koi dar nehi.." and entwinng their fingers he said,"tab pure duniya k samne ese tumhara hath pakadke mein ailan karunga Bondita sirf meri hai, sirf aur sirf Anirudh Roy Choudhury ki" and she giggled with his confession. 

He too smiled at her and leaning forward kissed her forehead and she rested her head on his shoulder entwinng their fingers once again and Anirudh too put his head on hers and they sat their feeling each other's presence looking at the distant horizon lost in the thoughts of their uncertain future and blissful present. 

But their heart was at peace because it knew whatever may be the obstacles they would accomplish it together. 

They belonged to each other, always not now but from years. And the world will know this too when the right time arrives. 

Till then they would enjoy stealing moments like this. 

Not only in shades but also in sunshine, 

I want to hold your hand claiming you mine.

This is because I wanted to write something on their love phase and the Radha Krishna thing gave me the idea for this..
