CHAPTER 6:WANKHEDE STADIUM, MUMBAI: 

EVENING 4 O'CLOCK:

Anurag came to his girls...

"girls!' calls him turning their attention on him. 

"Good morning sir!' they wished reaching him. 

"so girls..it's time to welcome your captain to the team..and mithu (ANKITA SHARMA)  be ready to welcome a big surprise...Roli (mithu exhaled) bhardwaj' said him clapping his hands. Every girls started clapping their hands and staring the entrance without knowing anything whilst mithu was watching it with a welled up eyes....Their furrows their eyebrows up after looking at ROLI who entered into the ground wearing Indian team jersey with a sindoor in her forehead and mangalsutra in her neck. She was taking steps towards them holding rohan's right hand and siddhant beside her. 

"DI..DIDI' cries a mithu rushed near roli and threw herself in roli's arms. Roli smiled,

"How are you mithu?' asked her caressing her back. 

"Don't talk to me di!' weeps mithu diwedi. Roli pulled her away then cupped her face...

"Sorry!' 

"I said don't talk to me..it's been 8 years di since you disappeared from my life' scolded mithu tries to hit roli...

"Aunty..' mithu stopped after hearing rohan's voice. Mithu looked down and spotted a cute little boy was glaring at her resting his hands in his hip. Mithu saw roli,

"Rohan!' she said with a smile. Mithu sat in her knees...

"why did you try to hit my mumma?' asked rohan like a angry kid. She cupped his face,

"Because your mumma hid you from this massi for 8 years' cries mithu caressing rohan's cheeks. Roli eyes are filled with tears...

"Can I take you in my arms?' asked mithu with a longing tone. Rohan saw roli for ask permission...

"Don't look at your mother even if she says no, I'm not ready to leave you anymore...' she hugged him tightly and kissed his forehead and both cheeks. She got up with rohan in her arms then turned on sid's side,

"What boss? (sid got a smile as he remembered the past) why did you bring her so early?' annoyed her. 

"Woh mithu...'

"You too don't talk to me jiju!' she said then started walking towards her girls....RoSid looked at each other with a smile.

"My captain!' anurag called roli near them. Rosid went near them. Sid forwarded his hand to take rohan from mithu who was talking to the baby in a child tone ...

"I won't give!' said her moved away from sid....He chuckles and left rohan to her. 

"This is roli siddhant bhardwaj..your new captain!' 

"How can a mother's boy lead our team sir?' queried pooja banerjee who's one of the girl in roli's team asked. Anurag opened his mouth to speak....

"You don't know about my wife's talent Miss..if you want to know..1 VS 10! Are you ready?' supported sid smiling at his wife who was already looking at him. 

"2 VS 9!' says mithu came near roli and stood beside her. 

"Mithu?..why are you supporting this girl this much?' questioned Vaishali Takkar another girl in the team. 

"Who else would support my DIDI, if I didn't?' spoke mithu surprising everyone. 

"DIDI?' asks Reem Shaikh in confusion. Mithu shrugged his shoulders as yes surprising them more. Anurag came forward 

"So are you ready girl? 2 overs...'

"We are ready sir! If your so called captain take at least 1 wicket in 12 balls then we will accept her as our captain without any question!' said Amrapali Gupta in a mocking tone. 

"What about 2 wickets roli?' anurag asked with a smile. Roli smirked showing 3 in her fingers. Sid tapped her shoulder raising his eyebrows. 

"So much of confidence?...come and show your talent now!' said pooja took her bat in her hands. 

Sid went near mithu...

"At least give him now!' says sid forwarding his hands at mithu. She took her lips at one side,

"Just for sometime...' she gave rohan to his father. 

"All the best mumma!' rohan kissed roli's left cheek making her smile. 

"thank you baby!' roli ruffled his hairs. 

"All the best dear!' sid said pinching her left cheek. Roli nodded her head with a smile.

Pooja was standing in the pitch staring roli who instructing mithu to stand in a perfect place...

"Oh Mrs...First bowl then show your attitude!' commented Kanika Mann laughingly. 

Sid glared at kanika but controlled himself as he knew about his roli's answer to those girls....

Roli just shared a smile at kanika....then started taking steps to bowl the ball to pooja...Roli spun the ball...

Kanika's smile faded away as found the two bails has thrown away as soon as roli's ball hit the stump. 

"Yehhh' sid and rohan shouted in excitement giving hifi to each other. 

"My girl!' mumbles anurag smirking at girls who were watching roli with a opened mouth. 

"Who's next?' shouted mithu standing near the four line. Aditi bhatia fumed in anger took her bat then reached the pitch...

"come on!..so called captain!' said her hitting her bat in the ground. 

Roli threw the ball...aditi handled it well and it crossed the four line...A smile crept on every girl's face...

"Mummaa!' rohan pouted his lips in a disappointment. 

"You are gone captain!' teased her again prepared herself for handle roli's ball. 

"Mithu!' roli called loudly again changed mithu's place. She spun the ball...aditi hit it hardly.....

........

"super mumma!' rohan jumps as he found the ball in mithu's hand in the four line. 

"Yes!' roli smirked at aditi and tapped mithu's shoulder. 

"Ridhima you go yaar!...but please don't lose your wicket at least in this over..'

"Yeah ridhi..just we faced 4 balls only but lost 2 wickets..please honey don't make us humiliated in front of her' says pooja adjusting ridhi's collar smiling sheepishly at anurag. Ridhima gulped her lump and nodded her head then walked towards the pitch. Roli spun the ball....

Middle stump reached the ground. Girls hit their's forehead with their hand. 

"My Mumma won! Mumma won!' rohan shouts excitedly. Ridhima dropped her bat in the ground then went near roli,

"WELCOME CAPTAIN!' says ridhima clapping her hands. She saw her girls...They took a breath then smiles coming near roli. 

"Welcome captain!' says them shared a hug with roli. Anurag reached them,

"So,..now you are..'

"Yes sir..we are ready to welcome this talented girl to our squad' Kanika confessed wrapping her hand around her shoulder.

LATE EVENING: 

Siddhant gave a towel to roli who was panting heavily after a continuous practice. She leaned on sid and relaxing herself whilst other girls were playing with rohan who was merging with them in no time. 

"Water?' asked sid caressing her hairs. 

"Hmm!' hums roli broke the hug. Sid made her drink water then sat beside her...

"Roli!' called anurag coming towards her....

"Uncle?' 

"Roli...I'll arrange everything in my guest house you stay there...no need to stay in any hotel' says him confusing rosid. 

"Why uncle? Why should I stay in your house?' queried her without knowing anything. 

"Why?...you have to stay in Mumbai for a practice and till that you want a place to stay right before we are going to Australia....' said him shocking rosid...Come on yaar!..how can rosid be away from each other....They saw each other..Sid adjusted his throat,

"You are right sir! Your guest house will be perfect for her to stay!' sid spoke making roli shock more. Anurag smiled then moved from the place. 

"What is this siddhant? How can be I away you and rohan?' annoyed her. 

"Roli..don't behave like a little child! You are a cricketer roli and you will have to travel to many places...'

"You are talking everything so easily...listen Mr. Husband, I can't go away from you and my son for any reason..Understand?' miffed her walked away from that place. Sid closed his eyes in despair rubbing his forehead...Yeah he too can't be stay away from roli but he have bear this for his roli's dream!...

Roli went near rohan and picked him in her arms and headed towards the entrance after waving her hands at her squad and her sister. 

DIWEDI MANSION:

"Mom..Mom..' shouts mithu literally rushed inside her house calling her mother...

"One minute mithu!' a voice came from the pooja room. Mithu went near the pooja room.....

"What happened mithu?' asks mithu's mother geetha (Geetanjali tikekar) came out from the pooja room wiping her tears. 

"No need to cry...God heard your prayer..(she wiped her mother's tears) I saw didi today' said mithu surprising geetha.

"ROLI?' 

"Yes mom! She's our new captain...and you have a grandson' informed her making geetha cry out of happiness. 

"Rohan..Rohan siddhant bhardwaj' 

"I want to meet my roli mithu...take me to my roli!' sobs her holding mithu's shoulder. 

"be ready tomorrow for meet your daughter' 

"No one should go to meet that girl' they heard a voice and found their so called husband and father was standing in front them. 

"Mom..get ready tomorrow! I will take you to di' said mithu at her father akshay diwedi (Manish wadhwa) as because of him only her didi wasn't with her. 

"Why are wasting your time mithu? Go..fresh up yourself' geetha said moved inside the pooja room for thank the Lord and mithu headed towards her room after glaring at her father. 

HOTEL ROOM:

Siddhant was sitting in front of his crying wife closing his ears. 

"Don't cry mumma!' says rohan with a welled up eyes wiping roli's cheeks sitting in her lap. 

"tell your papa to don't take you to pune' cries her pulling rohan closer. 

"Yaaarr...stop your cry! It's just a matter of 4 months baby..why don't you understand?' 

"I'm not a baby..i understand you very well and I know everything..I know, Your love for me has waned!..' she cries confusing sid. 

"Godd!..what are you talking roli? From where did this come?..' queried him out of confusion. 

"Before you didn't let me go away from your sight even for a second..now See how you changed after having a baby!' weeped her like a small baby between her complaints. 

"Roli..'

"Don't talk to me Mr. Husband!' annoyed her determinedly. Rohan and sid looked into each other without knowing anything. 

Sid served a food in the plate for rohan and roli. He went near them who were sitting in the bed and playing with his mobile. He adjusted his throat making roli to raise her head. 

"Food!' informed sid showing the plate. She took her lips at one,

"No need!' she said then downed her head. Sid saw rohan with a puppy face...He got down from roli's lap then went near sid and took the plate in his hands. He sat beside roli and forwards a spoonful of rice near her mother. 

"Baby I don't want..you have!' she denied making rohan upset. Rohan pouted his lips,

"Mumma please mumma...for me..pleaseee!' pleased rohan with his cute tone. Roli couldn't go against her baby's request..she opened her mouth. Rohan fed her food with a smile. Sid smiled then went near the table to serve food for him. Rosid and rohan finished their dinner and it's time for them to sleep. Sid came out from the washroom and found his wife who was making his son to sleep. Roli glared at him then without giving a damn care of his puppy face, she laid down beside her son after switching off the lights. Sid took a breath then went near side and laid next to her. He moved close and back hugged her snuggling into her neck from behind. 

"Hey..'

"Don't touch me!' miffed her pushed his right hand away. 

"Oh..come on roli! Why are...'

"Please..I'm sleepy!' she lied and closed her both eyes. 

"Ja..don't talk!' annoyed sid turned against her and closed his eyes. 

AN HOUR HAS PASSED:

Roli turned her head and found him sound asleep. She made rohan to sleep in the pillow from her shoulder then turned on sid's side. 

Roli turned sid on her by holding his left shoulder slowly without waking him up....She moved near and placed her head in his chest and wrapped her left hand around his waist. A smile crept over sid's lips. He circled his both hands around her petite body and pulled her closer. They both snuggles in each other arms with a closed eyes. 

EARLY MORNING:

Sid pulled his lips from hers and joined his forehead with her and panting heavily. He wiped her tears with his thumb finger,

"You know right, how much I love you? (roli opened her tears eyes) Do you really think I can be happier staying away from you!...I too will miss you roli! (roli weeps caressing his both cheeks) but we have to do this for your ambition right? And pune is just 150 KM from Mumbai..'

"150 KM siddhant!' she interrupted and cries. 

"Listen naa yaar..Me and rohan will come every Friday in a week here and be with you till Sunday night...this is very important time in your life honey and you have to prove yourself for me ok?'he tried his maximum to convince her. Roli hugged him tightly showing her acceptance....

6 O'CLOCK: 

Sid came out from the room in all dressed up. He came near his sleeping son then took him and put in his left shoulder....

"OK honey bye!' said sid looking at his wife's sad face and took his luggage in his right hand. Roli nodded no at him with a tears. Sid went near his baby and hugged her..

"take care honey' he pecked her lips for a second then moved back. 

"One minute' says roli moved near rohan...

"Take care my baby well...(she kissed rohan forehead) you too' she said kissed sid's cheek making him smile. 

"Bye! Will send maa in next flight'..

"then who will take care of you?' queried her out of concern. 

"That I will do!..now bye I'm getting late' sid took his bag then went out of the room leaves roli in tears.
