Chapter 64

 

8 yrs later

 

Geet is sitting in the main hall when a 7 yr girl comes running

 

"Maanya…now will you stop running"

 

"Mamma I was coming to you" "Why is walking so tough and running and jumping is so easy for you…. Now tell me what are you up to? "

 

She presents her class photo in front of Geet… "Which boy in these do you think will suit me mamma…"

 

"What??? You are in just in Grade 2." Maanya made a baby face.

 

"Ok for what this time…"

 

"Our dance class is doing a small valentine day dance… we have to select our partner"

 

Geet made an angry face… "No I am not going to help you this time… take suggestion from your darling daddy this time"

 

"No mamma, he will reject everyone and then I will have to take any partner teachers give…. I want to choose"

 

"Yeh to mujhse bhi aage ja rahe hai… Maan used to give me such a big lecture on this and that too when I was grown up…. Now she is so small and that too his darling daughter"

 

She could imagine his long lecture… very less to his daughter but a big one to her.

 

"No… ask your daddy…. Anyway you are gonna change to what he says right?? "

 

"Mamma you are sweetest one… you know. I won't show daddy, so he will not get to know so how will he reject any"

 

"Ok" Geet gets little convinced and then sits with her daughter very excitedly to select her partner… She always enjoyed these things…

 

She thought proudly "Nice my daughter is like me…. Not boring workaholic like her dad… dono ek jaise hote to babaji mera kya hota" she thinks dramatically.

 

"But other way its not good she is like me…. Meri tarah yeh bhi Maan kee he baat mantee hai… chae ya na chaye… If he says something she knows he is only right… meri tarah… Babaji iss baat me thora alag bana dete ise"

 

"Mamma select na… once daddy come he will know and everything is gone"

 

"OK" Geet gets excited and starts seeing the class snap….

 

Maan had completely pampered Geet but in that he also kept check on her wandering mind which always looks or excitement in stupid think….

 

Geet on other side… her respect and love for Maan increased everyday…. But on other side her nakhra's never stopped in front of him…. Her continous complain when he intervened in her silly work… he would just say…. "Do you think you should do it?"

 

And she knew she will not do in any case, once Maan showed his doubt about anything she will in no case do it but would also keep on complaining that he interfered…. Maan had his own way to cool her down… taking her in his arm, taking her to their room while listening to her continuous complain and laying her down on bed… setting himself beside her and staring his effect on her…. Even after so many years she could not resist him…. Infact it had increased.

 

So after looking at all the boys (Kids) she selected one for her daughter as partner…

 

"This boy…. I think this one is good"

 

"Thanks Mamma"

 

"Which boy is good and for what" Maan's voice came.

 

"Ho gaya.. abb suru" Geet thought

 

"Nothing… I am her mom and I was giving her some suggestions… there are some mother daughter talk… you don't need to worry" She said proving her authority on her daughter… knowing very well if he interfered she herself would not be able to go against him…. As most of the time he was right.

 

Maan would have left but her defensive way of talking gave him some idea that they both were cooking something.

 

"Geet I know you have more right on her than me… you are her mom" he came closer

And wishpred "jab mujhpe hee tumhara haq hai… hamare har cheez pe tumhara he jyada haq hai na…. I was just curious"

 

He came forward "Maanya come darling… not running upto your daddy today…"

 

Maanya slowly came forward… she had her class picture… he made her sit on his lap

 

"What's this… Ok leave… first kissi on daddy's cheek…" Maanya gave ever so sweet kiss to her daddy….Geet made baby face being out of team but her heart from inside danced with joy seeing father daughter love. She cherished her family. Her Maan and daughter he gave her.

 

"Now tell me what were you two upto" Now Geet very well knew Manya is going to pour everything… it always happened… so as usual Maanya said everything to Maan.

 

Maan knotted his eyebrows and looked at Geet "She is just 7, do you think this is right…"

 

Maanya immediately came to Maan "sorry daddy… "

 

"it's Ok darling… concentrate on your performance and your miss will take care of your partner and other stuff….  "

 

"Ok now go and play… take rahul with you"

 

The moment she left… there was no one in the hall… Maan immediately picked Geet in his arm and headed for their room… Geet was making faces and continuously hitting him on his chest…..

 

He laid her on bed… but Geet sat up and turned to other side

 

"I am a bad Mom… so irresponsible…not sensible etc etc…" she blurted out.

 

He held her chin and turned her to his side…

 

"You know how much I adore you as a wonderful wife and Mom to our daughter"

 

"Sab baaten banana kee hai…"

 

"Geet…. You know everything about her… you take all care of her…. I am mostly busy in my office world and that' because you are there…. You have given me this freedom…. Made me free of all these responsibility… taking everything on your shoulder…."

 

She still was upset…

 

"You left your career on peak for Maanya, Me and our whole family…. Everyone today in this house is kind of dependent on you…. That's your magic… aur tum itnee chootee si baat pe upset ho…"

 

"It's coz of you that she is excelling in all the fields…. I don't even know when you keep enrolling her… how you work behind her… I just know the result and be proud of how my daughter is excelling… but behind all this is you… only you… pata bhi nahi chala itne saalon me kab meri Geet itnee mature ho gayee"

 

He brought her closer in his embrace "you are perfect blend of innocence and maturity… haan who baat alag hai no girl can compete with my daughter"

 

She hit him hard on his chest "Phir suru ho gaye… she is like me she is my daughter."

 

Geet looked at him and made faces… Maan knew what was his last step… he took her lips within her.. and then started their passionate love making session…

 

 

After a while they were resting

 

"Maan aap bhi na… baby ko belly me sab pata chalta hai… kya sochega who hamare bare me…"

 

"Maanya ko kuch pata chala… nahi na… this one will not know anything as well"

 

Then they went in the hall…. Viccky and Meera came in… they looked tired after whole day of hectic shooting….

 

Geet immediately took charge of their refreshment and went to kitchen for arranging evening snack for them….

 

"Di main bhi aatee hoon" Meera said. Geet gave her a stern look and Meera had to stop their….

 

Geet loved her family. She was at peak of her designing career but when Maanya was four she felt she needed to give her time more to her and Maan too did not trouble her more as she worked hard in her career. But Geet was not liking his not troubling her due to her caareer so she just left her career for her family. She wanted to pamper everyone with her love as they have pampered her like princess…

 

She is still the princess of this house. Her parents visited them every weekend or on any such occasions.

 

She is still Dadima's favorite and beside her responsibility they both never miss chance of mischief.
