Chapter 28
Shilpa's POV:
"OMG! This was the 13th interview for that jallaad's PA, no one was
competent among that, I thought clenching my jaw and controlling my anger as
it was just a favour I was doing for him, being present on the post of
executive officer. I took a deep breath and said, "Next, my eyes weren't on
the door in fact I was lost in my own job being frustrated and full of fatigue.
"May I come in ma'am, said he.
"Yes!, I allowed him.
A guy in a purple suit was standing near the interviewee's seat when I allowed
him to sit, "get seated
"Thank you maam, he greeted.
"Your resume, I put forward my hand and asked for the file.
He handed the glass of water in my hand and said, "Good job
I found the voice familiar when I came to senses; I looked at the person
sitting in front of me and screamed, "Aap?
Yes! Indeed it was my boss, Armaan Mallik, I immediately left the chair and apologized, "I am really very sorry, I have not noticed that it's you and ..., being highly embarrass I kept blabbering when he kept his forefinger on my lips, "Sshhh, he shushed and I remained looking in his eyes. This was the very first time that I have looked into his eyes without angst, I found them so innocent and pure hearted but with a second of thought, I shrieked off all the good thoughts about him and thought bad as much I could, as if I did not wanted to change my opinion about him and maintain it as it is.
Armaan's POV:
I calmed her down when she seemed tired to me and called for the next candidate, "Next please
"May I come in sir?, the same time I heard a sugar coated voice when I was busy in my own stuff but her voice took mine attention towards her.
I shifted my eyes on the door, so as Shilpa, she was draped hardly in clothes, a black tube short dress, she has worn and I kept looking at her, "Yup!
Shilpa's mouth was open I noticed so I shut it with my palm and allowed the girl to come inside, "Thank you sir, said she.
Shilpa was making faces and blabbered, "14th candidate, ab 15th
ko bulana padega bhagwanji help me
I overheard her and my mind started planning something, "please be seated maam, I allowed her to get seated and Shilpa rolled her eyes. I don't know why she did not like the girl entered and my respect towards also.
Shilpa faked a smile to me, "Resume please, she played with her fingers and asked forwarding her palm. The girl candidate handed her file to Shilpa and she started reading it keenly.
I smirked at her practicality but I had to follow my plan, I immediately snatched the resume from Shilpa's hand and pretended to read it and finally announced, "Congratulations! You are hired!
"But sir?, the shocked Shilpa objected and I accomplished my plan, "You can come from 18th march for your duties.
The girl was highly excited as her not so happening resume was accepted and got a job on the other side Shilpa was fuming with anger or what I did not understood. I shook hand with the girl, "What is your name?
"Aapne to poora resume padha sir, aur naam bhi yaad nahi aa raha, hmmm..., Shilpa taunted me but before the girl could say anything Shilpa intervene, "Natasha Sharma?
"Yes maam, she nodded her
head positively and I was shocked that how come this girl knows her name, after
all she was so keen and particular about her job.
Just to make her jealous I appointed the candidate and I accomplish my job.
Shilpa's POV:
"Idiot!, I thought.
"Just to tease me he took a huge step practicality bhi kuch cheej hoti hai, I thought again.
Armaan asked me, "did you said anything
I faked a smile, "or maybe he has got impressed by her short dress
"Aapne firse kuch kaha?, he asked again and I nodded my head negatively.
"He gave me, the candidate of executive officer, PA's job and to this good for nothing girl, the same job. Idiot or over smart, I was burning very badly.
"You can go now maam, the girl was still sitting on the candidate's chair exited making faces.
I was still burning in the wrath of anger so I said, "ab aapka ek favour ho gaya. Kya main apna kaam kar sakti hoon Mr. Mallik?, I in fact taunt him.
"Okie!, he left the cabin with a cool gesture as something has not happen and with his exit I made faces and threw her resume in the dustbin saying, "Good-for-nothing
Armaan's POV:
Shilpa was damn jealous when I recruited the girl, I knew she has no skills or quality of being selected for this job but I did this to know what will Shilpa feel when I will recruit her, Shilpa literally reacted as per my idea. I know this was the huge step, after all I had to deal with this girl, but only for a PA's job. If I can handle Shilpa the angry young woman then I can deal with anyone.
I smiled and left her cabin as she was busy in her own job, which she deserves and no one can snatch away her talent from her not even any Armaan Mallik.
I was guilty at my deed, the way I behaved with her, but even I don't know why this drastic change was coming in me and I did not even wanted to, because I was liking this change.
I thought while sitting on my chair when someone knocked the door, "May I come in sir, it was no one then Riddhima.
In all this Shilpa fiasco I forgot totally that I have a best friend who was my fianc as well, so she too was angry with me.
"Ridz come na!, I said it no requested her.
"no no no. I want to know something from you, she retorted while sitting on the chair.
"Matlab, I didn't understand.
"Matlab ye ke mujhe sab pata chal gaya hai, she said.
I left my chair as if what the heck she came to know, was it about my changes
in my lifestyle or something else.
"Kya pata chal gaya hai?. I asked again.
She thought for a while, "Natasha aise hi kuch naam hai na uska?
I took a deep breath and said, "Yes and she is my new PA
"Haan bataya mujhe Shilpa ne, she said.
"Arey yaar ye ladki bhi na do minute bhi chup nahi beth sakti useless creature, I sheepishly said to hide the truth of the changes which I was dealing with but I became numb when I saw her on the doorsteps of my cabin, her eyes were moist and when I looked at her she left.
She was walking fast wiping her tears and blabbering, "Am I a useless creature, and what is that good-for-nothing Natasha...that girl is going to ruin everything for me in upcoming days
"Samajhte kya hain Mr. Mallik apne aapko jab jo muh mein ayega bolenge and I am going to listen that, she almost chocked.
I could in fact reach her quickly but I wanted to know everything which is in her heart so I walked slowly with silence.
"I am hold in this situation, can't leave this job to ...huh fayeda uthayenge mere emotions ka, a tear drop rolled down her cheek. I literally wanted to wipe it, I couldn't.
Shilpa's POV:
I kept walking furiously, sweating
in the tears and finally reached the terrace, my favorite spot at the office,
blabbering against him.
"Jallad kahi ke, I spilled
that out of my mouth being oblivious with the fact that he was listening
everything while following me.
I was on the corner of the terrace, sticking to the boundary wall when the same time I heard, "Jallad? That is what you call me haan..., he overheard it and turned to face who was there but with a momentum of jerk I was about to fell down from the boundary wall when he clutched me tightly.
"Ah!, I screamed as in I was between life and death.
"Please save me na!, I requested to Armaan and continued, "Please upar khichiye na mujhe, I was highly scared.
"Pehle batao, you call me jallad?, he asked in the soft and sensitive situation.
"what?,Is situation mein bhi aap ko question answers karne hain?, I was shocked but continued, "Oh yeah it's Armaan Mallik, kuch bhi ho sakta hai..., I clenched my jaw.
"Pehle batao, phir hi upar launga, he asked again.
"Uff! Arey haan I call you that, fine., I said the truth.
"Phir lo choda hath, he teased me as if he became angry in reality.
"Nahin. Ab nahin kahungi please save me, I begged.
He rolled his eyes to thought, "Pakka?
"Haan baba pakka, I agreed.
He snatched me with all his strength and with lot of pain I was on the terrace, I was gasping hardly, "thank god mujhe to laga aap mera hath chod hi denge
I was saying this but he immediately put his finger on my lips, "Sshh! main kabhi tumhara hath nahi chodne wala samjhi
I was lost in him for a second but the cold breeze took us to the senses, "Aur maine kaha mera hath chod do to?
"Tumhare liye kuch bhi, saying this he left the finger from my lips and I remained in thinking that why did he say that.
"Matlab?, I asked cluelessly.
"Time is the best answer, saying this he left me alone on the terrace and I was remain silent as if someone has left me with the biggest question of my life.
So the second half of the story has started hope you people are liking it.
I request to you that if you are reading the story silently then at least once in a while comment. It takes a lot of strength and dedication to write and it becomes useless if we do not get feedback.
