Running his hand through his hair, Shiva smirked about what had happened a few moments ago while walking into his house. He hadn’t told anyone that he was coming back as he wanted to surprise everyone, especially her. He was surprised to find everyone congregated in the courtyard but was elated that everyone was home as he hadn’t seen them in so long. He leaned against a pillar and observed as all of them happily chattered, not noticing his presence.

His Dhara Bhabhi finally looked up and noticed him, her hands immediately covering her mouth in shock. Tears of happiness welled up in her eyes and she ran towards him, as the other members of Pandya Parivar followed. Dhara pulled him into a bear hug, relieved that her Shiva was finally back home and in her arms. “Gadhere bataya kyu nahi ke tu araha hai. Teri aane ki taiyaari karlete hum.” Dhara smacked him on the arm, and he acted hurt even though her smack had done nothing to his built body.

Shiva pulled her back into his embrace along with Dev, Krish, and Gaumbi. “Kya Bhabhi surprise naam ki bhi koi cheez hoti hai na. Vaise bhi agar bata deta toh pura Somnath ka ration aap nipta deti mere liye khaana banana ke liye. Socho voh Maami kya khaati phir? Maa ke kangan?” Everyone laughed at Shiva’s reply, rejoicing that he was finally back home.

“Aee gadhere apne Maa se nahi milega. Ya Mumbai jaake bhul gaya ke teri koi Maa bhi hai.” Suman opened her arms and Shiva ran to her, taking her blessings while laying his head on her lap. “Aaj main bahoth khush hoon, mera ek beta ghar vapas agaya hai aur dusra apna ghar basane ja raha hai.” Shiva looked up at Suman in confusion.

“Kya matlab hai aapka Maa? Kaun apna ghar basa raha hai?”

“Aare Shiva, Dev ki shaadi taye hogayi hai.” Gaumbi exclaimed in excitement.

“Kya? Ye kab hua? Mujhe kyu nahi bataya kisi ne?” Shiva faked his anger when in reality he was really happy for his brother.

“Agar tu hume bata tha ke tu araha hai toh hum tere saamne hi baat paki karlete” Dev replied as Shiva pulled him in for another hug.

“Acha chal ye sab chor. Ye toh bata de kiski itni kharaab kismat hai jo tujh jaise gadhere ke saath phaas gayi hai?”

“Obviously, R…” Krish was about to take Raavi’s name when Dhara cut him off upon the arrival of someone else, “Aare Rishita tum bahar kyu kadi ho? Andar aao na.” Shiva looked at Rishita and his heart swelled in happiness at his brother’s choice. Though he hadn’t expected for Dev to readily agree to marry Rishita as she was a bit weird, he was content with their marriage announcement.

Shiva was just about to congratulate his future Bhabhi when Gaumbi pulled him aside to talk about his trip to Mumbai. Gaumbi had sent Shiva to complete a management course in Mumbai as he was confident that Shiva was going to be the one to make Pandya Store even more successful. Though Shiva had no desire to go as it would mean staying away from his family and of course his chipkali, he went on Gaumbi’s insistence and with the hope of one day expanding Pandya Store’s business. Now that he was back, he was finally feeling familiar sensation of peace.

On the other hand, back in Maami’s house, Raavi had felt the last seconds of her peace vanish into thin air. The entire route back to her house she was completely silent, attempting to make sense of the web of emotions she was feeling. Her MaasiMa and MaasaPa had chalked up her unusual silence to nervousness regarding her wedding and didn’t question it.

Now that she was back in the solitude of her room, Raavi let all the tears she had been holding in freely flow. What was supposed to be one of the happiest days in her life had soon turned into a nightmare with his arrival. She could have at least been given a warning about his arrival. In these past six months, she had learned to live without him and had in fact grown accustomed to his absence. Though she was not naïve to the fact that she had missed arguing with him incessantly, the six months had been a nice break from the toxicity he had infested into her life.

What had further confused her was the way he had touched her today. They had come close to each other multiple times while arguing, even to the extent where his arms would be around her waist, and she would dig her nails into his shoulder. Their proximity had never been uncomfortable for neither her nor him as this was a constant battle between them since they were children.

However, they had never crossed the line. He had never touched her with the intention of roaming his hands all over her body. He had never kissed her like that except for a few forehead kisses when he would feel especially bad about hurting her. He had never so fervently marked her as his.

With that realization she got up from the bed and made her way towards the mirror. Facing backwards, she pulled the strings of her blouse and move her hair out of the way. Staring right back at her was a huge purple mark which she knew was going to be a stubborn hickey. She traced it as best as she could with her fingers, inching around it as it still pained a little bit.

She didn’t know what to make of the marking that Shiva had given to her. Was this another method of his to punish her for being his Maami Ki Behen Ki Beti? Had he finally run out of ways to verbally torture her that he was resorting to physical violence now? Or was this completely different than what she was thinking? Was it a punishment or a method to pleasure her?

Raavi shuddered at the implication of him doing anything to please her. She had to admit that in the moment, his lips caressing her soft skin had evoked a foreign feeling within her. She recognized it as excitement and a sort of thrill, as if she had wanted him to keep going. She could still feel his tongue gliding up and down her back, his large hands wrapped around her waist and his fingers running from the corner of his waist to her navel. She closed her eyes and relived the moment in her head, running through each scene one by one.

It wasn’t until she had reached to the part where she had slapped him did Raavi realize what she was doing. She gasped in shock at her own thoughts and looked back in the mirror once again. She was wearing the blouse that Dhara Di had given to her in Dev’s name but all she could think about in that moment was Shiva and how he had dressed her in the blouse, not taking his eyes off her for even a second.

Soon the guilt began to set in, and she ripped the blouse of her body, making sure that she didn’t tear it as she had to wear it for the pooja tomorrow. She quickly slipped on another kurti, placing the blouse out of her sight. She felt disgusted that she had let Shiva touch her and had even enjoyed it for a split second. Her marriage had just been fixed with Dev and she was out and about doing the most questionable things with his younger brother.

She hated the nasty feeling that was settling her heart and flung herself onto her bed, letting out several cries in the process. Her phone began to ring, and she quickly wiped her tears upon seeing the caller id. With a deep breath she answered the phone, “Hello.”

“Hi Raavi.” She closed her eyes and another tear slipped down her cheek as soon as she heard the calm voice on the other end. He usually had a calming effect on her and always made her feel better, but today her guilt was overpowering any other emotion.

“Tum khush toh ho na iss rishtey se?” Raavi could hear the hesitancy in his voice and her heart sank even more. She didn’t deserve the consideration he was giving her, especially after what she had done today.

“Haan Dev main bahoth khush hoon. Socha nahi tha ke sab itni jaldi hojayga lekin jo hotha hai sab ache ke liye hota hai.” Raavi replied, mustering up as much happiness as she could in her voice. “Aur tum Dev? Tum khush ho?”

“Main bhi bahoth khush hoon Raavi. Inn pichle kuch mahino mein main jaan chuka hoon ke tum hi mere liye perfect dulhan ho. Bas khul kar bol nahi paya. Voh toh acha hai ke Dhara Bhabhi ne hamari dil ki baat samaj li.” Raavi blushed at Dev’s confession and a warm sensation began to spread throughout her body. She hummed in response, too shy to say anything else.

“Main jantha hoon ke tum thoda shy feel karahi hogi toh main tumhare jawab ke liye intezaar karlunga. Par haan main tumhara kal mandir main intezaar karunga, voh lehenga zaroor pehenke aana. Bye Raavi” Dev cut the call and Raavi smiled at his words, momentarily forgetting about her woes.

But the more she thought about it, the more she began to understand the gravity of the situation. It was as if she had been filled with a water tank today and yet again, she began crying. She spent the whole day with her face buried in her pillows, crying her heart out because Dev had once again proved that he had a heart of gold and this time hers didn’t match his.

This was how Shiva had found her later that night when he had climbed through the window of her room. He had spent most of the day being pampered by his Dhara Bhabhi and Maa and had worked a few hours at the store as well. He was exhausted by the end of the day and all he could think about was encircling his chipkali in his arms and peacefully sleeping, surrounded by her sweet scent.

His heart clenched at the sight in front of him and his hand curled into a fist. He didn’t know how to react to her tears especially since her tears had never had this kind of effect on him before. It was as if the oxygen in his lungs was being sucked out and being replaced with carbon dioxide. Not being able to take it anymore, he banged his fist against the wall which reopened his previous cut.

Raavi looked up in horror at the noise and found Shiva staring at the wall with blood dripping from his hands. She wiped her tears and ran towards him in worry, not questioning what he was doing in her room in the first place. She grabbed his hand and inspected the wound, barely paying attention to his gaze. “Ye kya kiya tune Shiva. Dekh kitna khoon beh raha hai. Tu kya pagal hogaya hai?” Raavi scolded him while dragging him towards her bed.

Shiva tried to loosen her hold, irritated yet smitten by the way she was yelling at him. “Aee chipkali mera haath chod. Jhooti fikar dikhane ki koi zaroorat nahi hai.”

Raavi glared at him and shushed him by putting her finger on his lips this time. “Bahoth hogaya tera naatak Shiva. Tu jab chaye apni maan ka nahi kar saktha, samjha?”

Shiva looked down at Raavi’s finger, her touch driving him crazy as usual. Raavi kept her finger on his lips while grabbing the first aid kit from underneath her bed. Seeing her distracted, Shiva tilted his head and opened his mouth, lightly biting her finger. Raavi yelped in surprise, but he had already pulled her onto his lap. She struggled to get off his lap, but he didn’t relent. “Tujhe doctor doctor khelna hai na. Toh yaha se khel. Nahi toh bina patti bandwaye main yaha se chala jaunga.”

Raavi huffed at his statement but gave up her struggle as she was more concerned with treating his wound. She took out some packets of alcohol swab from the kit and began to disinfect his wounds. She blew on his wounds to ease the pain, but Shiva was rather bored. He slipped his other hand underneath her top again, earning a slap from her on his arm.

Though she wasn’t entirely opposed to his touch, Raavi did not want a repeat of this morning’s incident. The faster she bandaged his wound, the faster he would leave. She quickly finished cleaning his wound and wrapped his hand up with gauze and a bandage. Shiva hadn’t noticed that she had finished, so he was surprised when she suddenly got up and tripped on his legs.

Raavi fell to the ground, trying her best to break her fall with her arms. Sprawled on the ground, she recollected her thoughts and for the umpteenth time began to cry due to both embarrassment of her fall and what had happened earlier. Shiva’s smile dropped and he quickly picked her up from the ground.

Seeing his face, Raavi began to cry even more as she just couldn’t make sense of her situation. Shiva shook her aggressively to get her to stop crying but that only encouraged her further. Fed up with her wailing and fearful that his Maami would show up, he did the only thing that he could think of.

[18+ content]He grabbed her by the back of her head and pulled her closer to him, placing his lips on hers. He had originally planned to end it after a short second but once his lips touched hers, the animal within him had been unleashed. She hiccupped from her cries into the kiss and tried to push him away, but he bit her lips in response. She opened her mouth from the pain and Shiva took advantage of the opening. He dipped his tongue into her mouth and swirled it with her own tongue, pulling her closer to him with each stroke. Raavi had stopped struggling and grabbed his hair with her fingers, inherently pulling him closer and deeper into the kiss. His hands had move from the back of her head to her neck and were making their way down her chest. He had just reached the top of her kurti when Raavi pushed him back with all her force.

Shiva stumbled back and wiped her blood off his lips, smirking while doing so. Raavi stared him down while attempting to catch her breath and he knew she would be rendered breathless if he attempted to kiss her again. Which is why he pulled her hair backwards and exposed her neck to him, her arms flying to his shoulder in protest and shock. He nuzzled his nose in the crook between her neck shoulder, making his way to the column of her neck. He started off easy with small kisses up and down her neck but as she dug her nails into his shoulder, he lost all his control. He started biting every inch of skin he could reach, taking his sweet time with each spot. He would soothe her pain by sucking and swirling his tongue in between the bites but he grew hungrier each minute she didn’t protest.[End of 18+ content]

This time he was the one to pull back from her because he knew he wouldn’t be able to stop himself if they went any further. Raavi stared back at him with pure innocence and questioning but her neck filled with hickeys countered her pureness with sexiness. Her doe eyes, her neck covered with his markings, her hands clutching onto his shoulder – everything felt so right, and he knew he wanted this feeling to last the rest of his life.

After a while they pulled away from each other’s embrace with Raavi blushing profusely. Reality had not yet sunk in, and she was in a blissful daze from what had just happened. She was rudely awakened yet again when she saw her neck in the mirror and she realized that she had done it again. She had let Shiva work his magic on her and had melted right into his arms, practically throwing herself at him.

Shiva was smiling at her through the mirror, the most genuine smile she had ever seen him adorn towards her. But her mood had already been spoilt as she touched her neck and the tanks in eyes gave out again. Shiva groaned in frustration and pulled her by the elbows, “Ab kya hua hai tujhe gadheri? Itna kyu ro rahi hai tu?”

Raavi pushed him away in anger, “Tujhe nahi pata main kyu ro rahi hoon? Anjaan bane ki koshish maat kar Shiva.”

Shiva figured that she was feeling guilty for doing all these things before getting married and he felt bad for encouraging it. “Acha sorry na baba. Galti hogayi, aage se nahi hoga.”

Raavi stared back at him in disbelief. Shiva had hurt her multiple times before and had never apologized to her. She was in awe of his apology and couldn’t formulate a response back. She knew a simple sorry couldn’t erase what they had done but his promise of it never happening again had given her some comfort. She had realized that she couldn’t control herself but if he was willing to do so, then there shouldn’t be a problem.

Seeing as there was no response from Raavi, Shiva thought he had upset her again and that she was going to cry further. He decided to change the topic, “Dev ne bataya mujhe shaadi ke baare main. Main bahoth khush hoon.”

Raavi’s eyes widened even further, and her heart fluttered in happiness. She had thought Shiva would throw a riot on hearing about her and Dev’s marriage, but he looked happy about the alliance. But if he knew about them and was elated, then why did he kiss her? She had figured it was some plan to break her marriage but standing before her was a man that looked genuinely happy. What exactly was he playing at? He did realize that he could never ever do what he just did again, right?

“Tu pakka khush hai na Shiva?” Raavi looked at him curiously, attentively seeking his reaction.

“Haan haan gadheri main bahoth bahoth khush hoon.” With that admission, Raavi flung herself into Shiva’s arms, finally feeling an ounce of peace. She was so happy that he had accepted her as part of his family without any protest or arguments. She had never expected Shiva to accept her so readily, but she definitely wasn’t going to complain.

Shiva chuckled at her eagerness and wrapped his arms around her as well. Looking at the time, he realized that it was quite late, and he had a long day ahead of him with wedding preparations. He made his way over to Raavi’s bed with her in his arms and lied the both of them down. He placed her on her back and snuggled into her warmth, placing his head on her chest. She ran her fingers through his hair and lulled him into sleep.

Raavi knew that what they were doing was incredibly wrong and normally would have pushed Shiva away as she had done so in the past. But today her happiness knew no bounds and all the tears she had cried today had finally dried. She was content with Shiva’s agreement and wanted to spend just a few more moments in his comforting embrace.

She would have never guessed that Shiva’s presence would have such a calming effect on her but tonight, his warmth was just what she needed. She slowly nodded off into a deep slumber with a huge smile on her face because tomorrow she was going to be Dev’s with Shiva’s approval.
