Damn alot of comments were about how Shiva reminded them of the character from Pandya Store. But to be honest it's not him, the inspiration came from the character of the movie 'MALAAL'. It is one of the most underrated movie out there and i highly recoommend everyone to watch it. And Meezan Jaffrey is such a phenomenol actor.

I have no problem with anyone thinking of it as Shiva from PS so you can imagine anyone you want to.

CHAPTER 4 : BAD GUY

8 A.M. , BANGLORE

"Pallau tu phir bina nashte ke jaa rahi hai." Aaji ran behind a stressed out Pallavi with a bowl of fruits in her hand.

"Aaj nahin Aaji. Aaj bilkul time nahin hai. Abhi bus stop par bus miss ho gayi toh aajka competition toh gaya." Pallavi looked around trying to stuff things in her bags, things she didn't even needed but the stress level was way too much.

"Ek phal toh khaa le kam se kam." Aaji grabbed her arm and turned her around.

"Par Aaji-" Pallavi tried denying but even Aaji was an adamant women.

"Bina khaye ghar se nahi jaate. Ann ka anadar karegi toh bappa bhi naraaz honge. Yeh le ek apple kha le." Aaji handed her the apple as they heard the girls running through the door into the berandah.

"Taai!! Tu kuthe ahes? (kahan hai tu)" Called out Maya from the group.

"Aa gayi aa gayi. Sorry woh pooja main time lag gaya. Chale ab?" Pallavi asked wearing her nagras.

"Ruko ruko aarti karne do mujhe." Aaji came running with the thaal as she blessed all the kids.

"Aaji bass bappa se prarthna kar ki hum yeh zonal level jeet jaye aur scholarship bhi." Pallavi hugged her as she ushered the girls out of the house.

"Ganpati Bappa meri beti ki laaj rakhna." Aaji prayed looking at the temple.

Pallavi along with the group ran to her towards the bustop when a jeep suddenly pulled infront of her.

"Shiva!! Pagal ho tum abhi takraa jaate toh." she shouted.

"Shiva se achcha driver iss pure Banglore main nahin milega tujhe. Aise kaise takra jata." Shiva spoke in confidence pulling down his shades.

"Dekh abhi mere paas tujhse gappe ladane ka time nahin hai. Hume late ho raha hai." Pallavi tried moving forward only to be stopped again.

"Wahi keh raha hoon main bhi ki time nahin hai isliye chup chap tum sab jeep main chhadho aur dekho Shiva ka kamaal." he winked.

"Taai yeh sahi hai . Dada ki jeep se toh hum ek tum bullet train ki speed se pahuchenge." Maya suggested hopping inside the jeep. Pallavi looked at Shiva and then at the pleading girls as she gave in and sat at the front seat.

"Lekin speed limit main rehkar. Bachchiyan hai hamare saath." Pallavi warned while Shiva dismissed her roaring his jeep engine.

10 A.M. , HYDERABAD.

Keerti walked inside her mother's room who sat reading the Bhgwat Geeta on her bed. Amma sensed her daughter's presence but didn't look up.

"Amma." Keerti called out as she sat infront of her.

"Mereko kisise kuch baat nahin karna hai." Amma replied focusing back on her reading.

"Bass Amma ab hume aapki zaroorat hai." Keerti begged her mother but Amma was being deaf to her cries.

"Amma Raghav khudko barbaad karlega aap jaanti hai. Kamse kam hum dono ke liye nahin toh Pallavi ke liye hi sahi. wada kara tha aapne usse." Keerti used her final words and the name of her beloved daughter caught Amma's attention as she looked at the frame kept on her bedside table.

Farhad marched infront of his Anna's room door. He was pissed off since last night, the way his Anna acted was ridiculous and he wasn't gonna belive that his Anna moved on so soon. As the door opened Raghav came face to face with the fury in his best friend's eyes.

"Aaj main office nahin ayega." ignoring his anger, Raghav moved past him when Farhad blocked his way.

"ab bass ho gaya Anna. Kal ke baad toh hadd ho gayi hai. Yeh aap nahin hai, main jaanta hoon. Ab aap bataiye mujhe ki yeh sab chal kya raha hai." farhad questioned.

"Kuch nahin chal raha hai. Ab main aisa hi hai aur tum yeh sab kayko puch raha hai. Pehle bhi toh main aisaich tha na. The bad guy. Toh ab tereko isme problem kya hai." raghav replied in a no-chalant way.

"Kyunki tab aapki life main Pallavi bhabhi nahin thi." Farhad spoke.

"Aur ab bhi nahin hai isliye apna energy idhar waste karne ke bajaye office deals main laga. Aur aaj akhri baar main terese muh se uska naam sunn raha hai. Aajke baad uska naam tere zabaan par hona bhi nahin chahiye . Ardhamainda." saying so Raghav barged from there.

Kuch toh gadbad hai Anna aur itna toh main jaanta hoon. Agar aap ziddi hai toh main bhi apni maha ziddi vahini ka devar hoon. Unse wada kara tha ki aapka dhyaan hamesha rakhunga aur main woh wada nibhaunga. Sach toh main pata karke hi rahunga, Farhad thought zooming behind Raghav.

Raghav was about to walk out of the house when a voice stopped him. He closed his eyes feeling the love and affection, it had been 3 months that somebody called him like that.

"Kidhar jaa raha hai Raghav?" Amma asked walking towards him.

"Kaam hai Amma." he replied looking down.

"Hmm lekin naashta karke jaa." Amma spoke in a stern voice. Raghav tried to deny her command when she added, "Aur main na nahin sunega."

Raghav followed his mother like an obedient kid as she made his have some breakfast from her own hands, tears threatening to spill from either of their eyes. Both knew what they had lost was huge, completely understanding the other persons pain but they weren't ready to talk about it.

"Kalka kuch socha hai tum?" Amma asked breaking the silence.

"kuch sochne ko nahin hai." raghav replied well aware of what his mother was trying to ask. Keerti and Farhad were being a spectator to this scene, both having a pang of pain in there heart as they thought about the next day.

"Main soch raha tha ki-" amma spoke but got interrupted by the man himself.

"Tumko jo karna hai tum kar sakta hai bas merese koi ummeed nahin rakhna." saying so raghav got up and left as a lone tear escaped Amma's eyes. Keerti quickly ran to console her mother as a furious Farhad went behind his boss.

Raghav ignited his car engine as he set the location on his GPS. Farhad too unlocked his car, ready to pull out some answers from the maze man today. The spy war started as Raghav dodged traffic while Farhad tried his best to catch up with his Anna.

Aaj toh main apne saare sawalon ke jawaab lekar hi rahunga Anna., he thought increasing the car speed.

After a few minutes their car halted infront of the Deshmukh mansion as Raghav went in and came out after exactly 10 minutes as per his regular schedule but something felt different today for Farhad as he saw Kaka handling something to him.

Yeh kya hai? thought Farhad as he backed his car and continued his quest behind Raghav. A few moments later and it happened so fast that now farhad seemed to have lost. Raghav's car was right infront of him a few seconds before but now was nowhere in sight. Panicking at the sudden loss, Farhad quickly dialled Harish's number.

"Ji farhad bhai." Harish answered on the first ring.

"Anna office aaye toh mujhe infrom karna aur woh GPS lagaya tha?" farhad asked.

"Han Anna kal raat hi laga diya tha." Harish replied.

"Theek hai. " as Farhad cancelled the call he quickly opened the app where he could see every turn Raghav's car took but apparently his Anna had been driving too fast that he was alot farther away than farhad anticipated. Turning on his engine, Farhad tested his luck as he wished to have succeeded this time.

2 hours later and outside the vicinity of Hyderabad, Raghav's car halted at a stop. He looked around to check for his spy but sighed in relief as he saw no one. Hurriedly he walked inside the broken shed punching in some numbers as if a code.

Farhad was a little late to arrive hence he decided to stay back and wait for his Anna to show up in order to understand the situation and question him. What felt like an eternity to him but an hour on the clock, Raghav came out with a box in his hands that he dumped inside his car through the window. As his phone rang, a curse left his mouth as he slided the green button to answer the caller.

"Bol Farhad?" he spoke in annoyance.

"Aap kahan hai anna?" farhad asked him as he eyed raghav's back.
"Kaam se bahar aaya hai. Tereko kuch zaroori baat karna hai?" Raghav asked desperately trying to finish the call as soon as possible.

"Han kaam toh tha anna." came back a reply.

"Kya ?" he asked again.

"Sach jaanna tha." this time the voice didn't appear from the phone but from right behind him as Raghav turned to look at a confused Farhad. Determination clear in his eyes.
