A loud ring brought Shiva’s otherwise really sweet sleep to an end. It was Raavi’s phone that was ringing. He nudged her a few times but she refused to wake up, so he picked up the call. It was Sharmishtha.

Hello!”, his voice still thick and heavy from sleep.

Good morning jiju. I know aaplog ko thoda jet lag feel ho raha hoga but Raavi ko aaj se hi kaam pe aana hoga kyunki model late milne k karan hamare dates already push ho chuke hai. To aap dono please jaldi se taiyar hoke breakfast kar lo. Mai aap logo ko pick Karne thode me aa jaungi”.

The rest of the time was spent on proceeding onto her orders cz they couldn’t afford to be late as that would leave a very unprofessional impression.

What Shiva had not expected was the men at the brand to be bowled out by his wife’s beauty. He already had enough such cases back home and didn’t appreciate these firangs casting their eyes on what was his. Raavi on the other hand was having a hard time controlling her laughter as she had turned the tables.

She was soon engrossed with work as the designers took her for various measurements. Raavi had always taken pride in her body and the amount of time she spent in taking care of it actually bore fruit today. They decided that they wanted to go with the minimalistic bride’s look.

Long tale cut short, the shoot went really well. Within a few shots, it felt as if Raavi had always been in front of the camera. Her breathtaking smile, her pearly whites, the sparkle in her eyes, the blush on her cheeks, everything made her the perfect model bride as her dear Sam had predicted her to be. But what bothered her after they packed up, was that her bhootnath was nowhere to be seen.

The last time she had seen him was when he had been throwing a dead glare at the photographer who had adjusted her duppatta, to get a better glimpse of her blouse. Her brows knitted in confusion as she couldn’t understand where he could go in this city which was ajnabi to both of them, totally.

The door quickly opened and shut, much to her shock. She got a sense of relief as she looked at the intruder. It was her husband. “Shoot ke bich me tu achanak se uth ke kaha chala gaya tha. Dhara di ne tujhse kaha tha n mere Sath rahne ko. Mai Kitna ghabra gayi thi ki tujhe Kaha dhundungi”.

Her talks were cut short as she felt his lips lock onto hers. They were soft and supple, quite in contrast with his rough and tough exterior. She had just begun to get a taste of what Heaven felt like when he broke off. His eyes were intense and she could get forever lost in them.

Maine aaj tak har baat saaf saaf karne me believe kiya hai Raavi. Tere case me meri ye aadat kab exception ban gayi mujhe pata nahi Chala. Par aaj Mai apni ye galti sudharana chahta hu. Mai tujhe kisi or ke Sath nahi dekh sakta. Ha, maine socha tha ki Mai tujhe khud se dur karke aazad kar dunga. Par yaha tujhe in logo ki bheed me ghum hota hua dekh, jaha tera dhyan mere alawa kisi or ne banta rakha hai, nahi dekha gaya mujhse. Tujhe koi or chue ye meri nazro ko bardasht nahi hua. Mai tere mamle me khudgarz banna chahta hu”.

Finally, finally tune jana to sahi ki beetein kuch dino me maine kya mehsoos kiya. Kya beeti muhjhpe jab us disha ne tujhe kiss kiya. Pyaar karti hu Mai tujhse Shiva. Khud se bhi zyada. Zarrorat ban gaya h tu Meri”. She kissed him with this confession. Something she had wanted to say for so long.

The lovebirds had finally realized their folly and united.

The City of Love had worked its charm onto the biggest gadhedas of Somnath.
