Prithvi asked Sanyo to be a friend😇🤝

Sanyogita came out of her tuition class. She stood outside where she saw the parents of the classmates of her tuition were waiting outside of the main building. 

Tania Ahmed, one of her tuition class friends, asked her"where is your cycle, Sanyo??

Sanyo told her " Actually today after coming from the school on the way my bicycle tire had suddenly punctured. I don't know-how! Then one of my fr..She stopped in the middle ( what I am going to call out he is not my friend, is he??)

What happened, what are you thinking? Tania asked

" No nothing," Sanyogita drifted her gaze from Tania. 

She looked at the road for Prithvi but she didn't find him. She was thinking `` where is he?? will he come?? Is he still in his tuition class?? Whether he will come or not?? 

Are you looking for someone?? Tania asked when seeing Sanyogita peeping here and there.

"Huh!!.."What should I tell Tania? Should I confide in her today I have taken help from my enemy at school? He is not my friend . He is a Localgunda nd How can't be a localgunda is going to be my friend"

"What happened to Sanyogita? What have you been thinking for so long?"

"No, nothing"Sanyogita muttered

"Are you scared about today's test because you came late for it? Tania asked 

" Huh..yes Actually I was thinking about it! Sanyogita mumbled she didn't want to tell Tania about Prithvi

" Why are you looking tense? You have corrected all the questions when Sir was discussing after exams and I know you will also get full marks this time too!"

Sanyogita smiled politely. She didn't want to make herself proud. Everyone called her topper intuition and also at school. She liked it when everybody praised her but still she did not turn it into arrogance.

"Sanyo, you have just told me Your bicycle tire was punctured,so did you come by bus??

Sanyogita looked at Tania with an idiotic expression.

Where Tania look at Sanyogita with confusion eye suddenly a lady come and called for Tania

" Tania beta , come neither we can not catch the bus for our locality"Tania knew their residential areas bus is so rare they were from DumDum, Kolkata , and only they got few buses which were available at night. Sanyogita knew it so she doesn't want to make Tania delay she so reply her

"Yes I have just come on the bus, don't worry I can go myself"

" Are you sure Sanyo ,"

" Yeah yeah,just go , Bye Aunty , Bye Tania"

Bye Sanyogita beta,

Bye Sanyo" 

Both the girls' bid bye to each other, Sanyogita stood thereby holding the strap of her bags on her shoulders. She felt disgruntled " I should not have believed in him, how will I go home right now? Should I call at home? But Granny will be asked me a lot of questions and so she will again advise me to stop cycling and again driver will drive me to school daily and my little freedom also snatched away from me"She has submerged her deep thought when she saw the two hazel brown eyes continuously staring at her ,she took steps towards him.

She never noticed Prithvi before but except only during their first fight did she see his hazel brown eyes, which created something strange within her when she first time met him though she was at that moment very much angry at him and many more things arose between that led to hatred towards him. Even his presence also made herself nasty but today seeing him at the corner of a tee shop she felt relieved.

Sanyogita walked to him slowly, she saw Prithvi was standing there with clasping hands on her stomach while leaning his back on the long wall of a white building.

He stood properly after seeing her arrival, seeing her expressionless face he determined she probably became irritated with him.

There was an uneasy environment.

Prithvi broke the silence by telling"hey how was your test?

" Yes, it was good, I was thinking that you will not come! she said in a low voice

" No, I am waiting for you here, when you are busy with your friend "

"Oh!! Actually, I was looking for you but couldn't find you!"

"I am standing here, as you are busy so I didn't want to disturb you," he said 

Sanyogita glanced at him "when you came here??

" 30 minutes ago"

" You are waiting for me for half an hour!!! She said loudly in astonishment

Prithvi nodded his head genuinely then glanced at the surroundings, and the shopkeepers started to shut down the store.

"Sanyogita, now it's too late,we should go now"

Sanyogita shook her head and concur with him

During the journey, neither of them spoke a word .

" Now stop here!" She said

" Is it your house ?? he asked

" Yes"

Prithvi looked at the large entrance gate designated by the Suriya symbol. In between the two gates which were enlightened under the two big lampposts on either side of it.

Sanyogita climbed down the cycle . 

" Prithvi, Thank you, without you, I will miss my test,  it's very very important for me"

"It's okay, you are my..he stops (a friend was about to come out from his mouth), don't worry it's my duty"

Sanyogita smile politely

He also smiled at her back

"Sanyogita, can I ask you a question?"

"Yes, you can?"

" Why you didn't complain today at teacher against me , today you have the golden opportunity to suspend me on the letter issue!!""

Sanyogita looked at him silently 

Prithvi was also looking at her

" Yes you are right if I want I could easily humiliate you in front of everyone but it Maybe would not give you any lesson moreover it would be effective for you because you never realised you mistake you again scolded by the teacher and maybe again made some new trouble for me next time"

Prithvi shifted his gaze from her . It reminds him of the Vangwala incident . 

Suddenly both of them remain silent

Prithvi closed his eyes and to get some will then started to whisper"Sanyogita I hadn't bad intention to trap you in trouble on that day. I have my reasons with me , whenever you call me useless it reminded me of my father who used to offend me all time and mocked me , as I am good for nothing because I never stood first in academics" Prithvi didn't know why he was confessing this to Sanyogita, the girl whom he hates very much but why he believed that she will understand his pain his frustration on this issue. 

Sanyogita came closer to him, who was sitting on his cycle and keeping his long legs on the ground, and both hands on the handle of his bicycle.

Sanyogita stood there quietly but he brain was trying to find something right words then she spoke again

"Who said that you are useless?"

Prithvi looked up at her "Don't worry, I accept the truth, that I am useless"

" No you are not, and why are you accepting those allegations which people tried to forcefully put on your neck. Never take others' words in your mind. You know what my Dad says to me: Everybody has talents and you are the champion of our school sports, right."

Prithvi looked at her with surprising eyes

" And you know what, you are not useless instead you use your brain ,less in the study because..she put her index finger of her right hand on her chin and uplift he faces as she was trying to search for the exact words

" Yes because you are busy in sports and more than that you are busy defending your friends from punishment whether it is Dharam or it is Arjun"

Prithvi looked at her twinkling smile. Nobody gave him these sorts of words and neither before anyone explained the meaning of the useless word which was tagged on his head so long ago , so meaningfully.

Prithvi also smiled " Thanks for the word ,now it's too late I have to go"

"Okay, bye"

"Hmm bye"

Sanyogita also nodded her head.She crossed the main entrance gate of her villa.

Prithvi also turned his bicycle and was about to paddle he heard

"Prithviii"

"What happened to Sanyogita?" He asked her worriedly seeing her running towards him

Sanyogita held her bag straps in her both hands and walked towards him" Shall I get my bicycle on tomorrow, are you sure enough about this na?"

Prithvi felt the word "na"so cute from her mouth .He chuckles

" Yes don't worry , I knew kaka from so long ago he will keep your property safely"he assured her"

"Okay thanks " She said 

" Now I will keep saying thank you again and again or you will go away, it is enough night, bye. "

Sanyogita grinned and " okay bye " she turned around then heard Prithvi call her from back

"Sanyogita" Prithvi whispered softly

" Yes, now tell me what happens?? she asked him with a cute smile on her face

Prithvi at first was hesitating, then seeing her smiling face he got the courage to ask her "Our fighting started only because we punctured each other bicycle, So Can our friendship be started by forgetting our bicycle puncturing issue today. The cycle puncturing issue from which both of us started fighting, so Can be there staring of a fresh friendship of both of us with the same cycle fighting issue??"Prithvi stop smiling after seeing Sanyogita's blank face 

Then suddenly she chuckled, Sanyogita came slightly close to him and extended her right hand towards him " okay, so now friends? she asked politely Prithvi found her voice sweet today.

Prithvi extend his left hand as he was a lefty 

" Okay friends"

They shook hands.

" Okay, now I have to go, "Prithvi said 

"Prithvi"she called him again

" Now what happened, Sanyogita?"

" Woh ,..Can 

..she was mumbling. Can you come tomorrow to take me to school in the morning?

Prithvi " Okay fine, Don't worry I will come!"

"Thanks " 

Both of them exchange a cute smile

" Now we become friends and friendship has no place for sorry and thank you , okay!"

" Okay" she shook her head.

After Prithvi had gone away Sanyogita also didn't stand there; she also stepped towards her bungalow.

During the late-night

Sanyogita was sitting at her study table while studying her favourite subject physics. She was continuously distracted by the thought of the moment when she was sitting on his bicycle in front of him. She had no clue why she was thinking about him whose warm breathing continuously fell on her ear and She didn't know what kind of nervousness was working within her nerves at that moment.When she found Prithvi standing there in front of her tuition class building she became shocked also got relief at the same time. The local gunda, the name she had given to him , the boy whom she couldn't tolerate for a single second who knew that one day he would be her everything and it would be difficult for her to forget those hazel brown eyes 10years later too.

Sanyogita was still thinking about those golden days of her life which she had to give the title when she was writing in her diary.She was standing there at the entrance gate still gazing at those wild green environment, hills beyond those large trees in the wide landscape, grey sky , cool weather, as the trains increase their speed and stopped at respective stations and people started to climb down from there to reached their destination but  Sanyogita felt she was a lost vagrant who neither had a house nor a destination.She lived in a room which neither had a door nor windows nor the wall nor also the roof.

Here is another corner of the world,

Prithvi was on the way to Kolkata again immersed in his memory lane, he again recalled the day how he and Sanyogita became friends and how all the history happens between them.

Prithvi that night after dropping Sanyogita at her home he talked with her and also told her the reason behind the Vangwala incident, he was also happy after that it was the day both of them stopped fighting with each other.

At the late-night Prithvi was in his room lying on his bed while keeping his eyes on the ceiling, where his mind was somewhere else.The moon rays were falling into his bedroom.

He thought of the moment when Sanyogita was sitting on his bicycle.He wished to keep paddling with her and the journey wouldn't ever end.Prithvi didn't know one year ago the girl's name irritated him so much he asked for her friends today, how strange. why he ask her to be his friend, to stop the fight which was Started because he punctured her bicycle. Now he wanted to restart a new friendship by puncturing her bicycle but this time he wasn't the reason behind it.

When he shook hands with Sanyogita Prithvi realised it was the first time she was talking with him with her smiling face. Under the lamppost light, he found her more glowing. He noticed her mole on her left chin, her glistening cute smiling teeth which makes her face cuter.He noticed the dimples on her cheeks which make her face more adorable when she smiled.

The day when he saw her for the first time he didn't know he felt something strange and also when she overtook him on the way and punctured his bicycle he never imagined the girl could be so indomitable.

What was happening within him and why he was thinking about the girl,the chipkali who one day is going to be one of the important parts of his life ,that it would be difficult for him to forget her just for a single moment. That cute, smiling girl in school uniform with a mole on her left chin, her thick two braided hair with blue ribbons over her two shoulders,those stream-like eyes still haunted in his dreams . More days passed he realised it was the day when he saw her crying face after the Vangwala incident and the game had been changed .He wanted to teach her a lesson but who loses? He knew the answer now which his subconscious mind was already aware of the fact .He lost his heart to Sanyogita.

The next morning, Prithvi came to take Sanyogita for school. He was waiting outside of the large entrance gate . The previous night he didn't notice the nameplate adjacent to the gate.

It was written as " Agarwal Mansion"

A watchman wearing a blue color uniform with a wooden stick in his hand was sitting on the opposite side of him just near the gate.

Prithvi looked at a large white villa with a gap in his mouth. He peeked inside for the arrival of Sanyogita then he saw so many cars inside the large parking slot of the house.After a couple of times, he saw Sanyogita who came to him with her purple-colored American Tourister bag hanging on her back.

“Am I not so late na?”She asked 

“No, not at all, but let's sit unless we both will be late for the school assembly “Prithvi replied 

Sanyogita sat in front of Prithvi who kept both hands on the handle and started paddling the cycle. 

“I have never imagined you live here at that big house “Prithvi remarked 

“Why so ?I am the daughter of a rich man and is it wrong?”She asked 

“No , I don't mean that, I mean you have stayed here at this big house and today in the morning before your arrival I have just seen so many cars in front of your house , then why are you coming on cycle for school if so many expensive vehicles are available ?“

Sanyogita smiled at his sudden question “You are right indeed I can use any car for school but I would prefer a bicycle , sitting in a car going to school and then tuition and afterwards everything just seemed like staying in a cage !”

“Why are saying so , and you are living at an expensive place so you should enjoy your life,, “he said

Sanyogita chuckled “Are you thinking so , okay what will you do if anyone allows you to live at a home with so many luxuries?

“If I get the opportunity to stay at a home like this I will be very happy and also feel lucky but gradually I will become bor neither I have that dream to live such as palace like this nor I want cars for every place I want to visit , I most liked to enjoy my small freedoms in every moment, and lived happily with my family”

“Exactly “Sanyogita smile “You give my answer, repeated using of those expensive luxurious it becomes boring, you can’t visit the places you like on yourself, except sitting on a cushion-like seat of a car and watching the world via the mirror neither you can enjoy the beauty of nature nor you can live that small freedom “

Prithvi understood what she really wants to mean”Yes I agree with you ,

“Prithvi before entering School I want to get my bicycle back”

“Okay , No problem Chipkali”

“Prithvii”Sanyogita showed him her eyes

“Okay , Okay , it’s become my habit , time toh lage gahi na”he chuckles 

“Okay localgunda “she also replied him back with grinning 

Prithvi smiled first after hearing localgunda word from her mouth.

“By the way, Prithvi, why have you confessed after the teacher's day at school?”Sanyogita was always curious to know what happened with Prithvi and made him accept the truth about the Vangwala incident and why he was avoiding her after that .

Prithvi suddenly goes silent and stops his cycle abruptly. He was thinking about what answer he should give to Sanyogita . He couldn't tell her about the frequent fighting of his parents. Sometimes it became so difficult for him to tolerate those quarreling things between his mother and father.

“What happened? What are you thinking and Why have you just stopped the cycle here in this lonely narrow street?

"Actually I was thinking something!"

“What ?’’She asked in confusion 

“Not so important” Prithvi lied intentionally he did not want to tell her “Sorry Sanyo I have no explanation of it why I have done that “he was said to himself

“Prithvi what happened? Is everything alright ?” she asked him in concern

“Yes everything is fine, “

“Then why are you looking so disturbed  am I asking you something irrelevant ?”

“No not at all, Sanyogita we will now be reached to school within 15 minutes” Prithvi again started paddling 

“Okay “

After that, neither of them said anything. Sanyogita did not repeat the question. She thought maybe he didn't have the explanation so he can't tell her directly, but why did he avoid her question.?she became curious suddenly 

Prithvi stopped his bicycle once again in front of the xerox shop he said thank you to the uncle, Sanyogita also joined him "Thank you Uncle '' she gave the shopkeeper a Cadbury as a reward for looking after her property. The xerox shopkeeper's uncle smiled at her gestures

Sanyogita climbed up her cycle, she was very happy. 

“Thank you Prithvi, do you know It is the cycle which my Father gifted me 3 years back on my birthday and from that day I used this as I love to ride on cycle, but then those days it was little big for me. But now  I can use it properly but moreover, cycling also relax my mind “She said to him with her smile

Prithvi first noticed her talking so much, he found her behaviour gradually cute .”

“Yes I also loved to cycle and it’s my elder brother cycle as I get some height so my previous one little small for me “

“You have an elder brother , that's nice!“

“Yes , and you know he is not like me he is a topper of his class, and he is a very nice guy”

“Wow, that's good . Prithvi you are also a very nice guy.”

Prithvi glance at her with astonished eyes

“I have already told you never think yourself low , never compare those things of yours with others which are irrelevant to your talent, everyone is good at particular thing”

Prithvi smiles “And you know you are a very nice girl who is always ready to motivate others with her words .“

Sanyogita gazed at Prithvi

Both of them exchange a soft smile. After a couple of times, they reached the school.

During the lunch break Prithvi, Dharam , Arjun, and Raghav all four boys were talking about the IPL as it was the initial days of April .They were talking about their favorite player and teams.

Arjun again irritated Raghav when their leg-pulling season was going on . While Prithvi and Dharam were enjoying their tom and jerry fighting .

In the middle of their conversation, Sanyogita and Meghna came there .

“Hey guys what’s up? Meghna asked with her cute smile

"Hii!! Everyone, what's going on?''Sanyogita asked with a soft smile.

Dharam tried his best to hide his usual feelings ,he liked Sanyogita’s cute smile.The way she talked sweetly with everyone.

"Nothing Sanyo we are just talking about IPL " Dharam replied

"Oh wow, which is your favourite team?? Sanyogita asked curiously 

“KKR and RCB both “ Dharam replied

"Punjab kings and KKR both"Raghav replied

Arjun tease Raghav " Why is there Preity Zinta so that's why""

Everyone's giggles,Except Raghav”

“Prithvi, what is your favourite team? Sanyogita asked 

“KKR and CSK both are my favourite"

“Wow I also like CSK and KKR”Sanyogita blurted out with enthusiasm

Then everyone focuses their view on Prithvi and Sanyogita, Everyone becomes shocked Seeing Sanyogita and Prithvi talking with each other with smiling face

Arjun and Raghav stop their nok jook , Arjun rubbed his eyes with his hands,

What happened why are you all looking at us like this?”Sanyogita asked

““Actually seeing you both talking with each other , it's the latest shocking news from our school!Meghna blurted out

Arjun shook his head "Huu..huu..!

Raghav was also deeded the same

“Hey what are you saying?Prithvi asked

“Why are you saying like that ,now we became friends! Sanyogita said,” Am I right Prithvi?”

“Yes,” Prithvi nodded his head “Hmm..Sanyogita is right. We are now friends “

“what???? Everyone shouted shockingly,” How is it possible !”

“Arjun, does Sun has arisen today from the west ? or else you become a good bachha (kid)?”Raghav said 

“I always remain a good baccha!”then he said “No, no, no  I'm not a bachaa hoon”Arjun answered 

“you mean you are a gandha bacha ”Raghav quipped

“I mean I'm not a kid now , now I grow up , I am 16 years old and one year older than you, or it you mote”Arjun said with fake anger

Prithvi and Sanyogita looked at Arjun and Raghav 

Prithvi said after getting a look at Sanyogita who gave him a soft smile as a reply he could proceed ““It’s a big story we tell you another day”

“Oh God! I again forgot about things in talking" Sanyogita bit her tongue 

“What happened, Sanyogita ?”Prithvi asked her worriedly 

Sanyogita was about to speak but Meghna came to Sanyogita and said: “Yes Sanyo what happened,what have you forgotten?”

“, I forgot about the chocolates na, that I have bought for you all guys !”

“Wow you have taken chocolates and you tell me this to me now “Meghna made a puff out face 

“I am sorry Meghu, Actually I miss Papa so much you know na ,he has returned at home in the morning, so that’s why I have not remembered about anything“Sanyogita replied her with a puppy face

“You never remember anything whenever it’s about your father “Meghna grinned 

All the boys looked at Meghna and Sanyogita, Dharam liked the friendship between Sanyogita and Meghna. Prithvi was looking at the smiling face of Sanyogita and her various facial movements.

Sanyogita took out the chocolates from her skirt pocket and gave them the chocolates which her father bought for her today's morning. She gave first to Meghna she knew Meghna loved chocolates.

“Prithvi, this is for you “Everyone was shocked including Dharam when Sanyogita gave the chocolates to Prithvi with a vanilla smile and he also gave her back a pleasant smile.

“Thanks, your Papa, come today , don't he stay with you?

“No, Actually My Papa had visited Mumbai for 15 days for business. So I didn't want to come to school today as I wanted to spend my whole day with him”

“Then why have you come today? Prithvi asked her innocently

“Budhu ,how could I? You are waiting for me outside my house and then If I said to you that I don’t want to go with you to school then you will feel bad na !”

Prithvi looked at her”Why should I feel bad ?he asked her innocently 

“Arrey, I can talk with my father after returned to home and Papa also made a promise to me that in the upcoming Sunday he will take me to visit her at my favorite places, only my dad and my granny. But  Prithvi, if I refuse to go with you to come to school, then your time will be wasted, and it's bad manners  If you ask for somebody's help to wait for you so long and  after that go to them and say no !”

Prithvi glances at Sanyogita with a soft smile “Nevertheless if you tell me once I will not mind anything, I know Family is more important and at least your father loves you so much”

“Why are you saying Prithvi, everyone's father loves their children .”

Prithvi did not have the answer for her question “Nothing I am telling this irreverently “

Sanyogita still felt something strange in his voice but she asked him if it was fine to ask him why?

Dharam knew why Prithvi said like that, but more he was confused seeing Prithvi and Sanyogita talking with each other so friendly nobody could guess that they were hating each other until tomorrow. What had happened between them was that both of them were talking relaxed with each other! He glances at Meghna and whispered in her ear” Megh have you any idea 

Meghna asked Sanyogita how he and Prithvi became friends, as both of them had a relationship of a snake and mongoose. Sanyogita told him she will tell her about that later.

Dharam and Arjun said Thank you to her

Raghav blurted out” Sanyo, give me two more chocolates as I  like as your brother, and here I'm one year younger  Prithvi, Dharam aur Arjun sonI deserve more chocolates than anyone else  ""

“Okay take it “Sanyogita gave two more pieces with a happy face

“Thank you Sanyo, tumhi meri sab se achi dost ho”Raghav praised 

“okay now stop buttering Sanyo . Listen Sanyo I warn you to stay away from this Raghav unless he will bother you every time hor food  “Arjun cautioned Sanyogita who was giggling  

Raghav gave an annoying look to Arjun”you   jeolous cause you don't get more chocolates“

“Guys why do you always fight with each other?? Sanyogita asked casually 

“who said that we all time fight?? , “Arjun whispered

“No, I always see you both fighting with each other? Sanyogita replied 

“Galat “Arjun replied “this is my style to express my feelings for this motu “Arjun pat on behind the head of Raghav who gave him an irritating look 

“however how much we leg pull each other moreover we care about most of us,”

“ That's why we are good friends “Raghav completes Arjun's sentence”And the friends with whom fight lots of time we love them most, isn't it! Like the way, you and Prithvi fight with each other!

Sanyogita and Prithvi felt embarrassed and both of them shared an awkward smile.

Sensing her awkwardness Prithvi said” Sorry Sanyogita, Raghav was not mean that” 

“Yes I think Raghav was talking about Friendship only “Dharam replied to remove the sudden awkward environment

“Sorry yaar it wasn't my intention it just a mistake “Raghav apologize 

“It’s okay, “Sanyogita said while Prithvi did not contact his eyes with Sanyogita.

Arjun tried to normalize the situation “Sanyo, these chocolates are very very tasty say, Thank you to Uncle for it”

“Thank you Arjun” Sanyogita replied politely 

Arjun again said to break the abrupt silence “Sanyo, you forget to ask me about my favourite team!""

Sanyogita glanced at Arjun, “Oh! I am Sorry, which is your favourite team?” she asked him with softness in her voice 

“It’s okay, My favourite team is obviously KKR as we are Bengali and Mumbai Indians, anyway every team is good and hard-working !”

Sanyogita gave Arjun a friendly smile and he also gave her back to make her feel comfortable. Prithvi also felt relaxed and he said Thanks to Arjun in his mind to enlighten the mood Sanyogita.

"Hey guys ,I am too like Mumbai Indians  and KKR is my favourite because I am a Bengali" Meghna uttered with excitement

"Wow Megh you girls are watching cricket that's impressive,"Raghav remarked

" Why are you saying this, can't we girls watch crickets!" Meghna said with wrinkled eyebrows

" Yes, I am absolutely agreed with Megh why do you boys always things that we only watch romantic movies and  barbie movies , everyone can behave different tastes" Sanyogita said annoyingly

"No Sanyo Raghav is not going to say like that"This time Prithvi  tried to clarify her irritation

"Yes Sanyo we didn't mean that !"Arjun uttered

Then what do you want to mean? Sanyogita asked Prithvi

"We didn't want to say like that actually it's usually don't happen"Prithvi answered

“So you also think that girls can't do anything!”Sanyogita said him angrily 

“Sanyogita I haven't said like that ”Prithvi tried to defend himself

"Look at these two again started their old wrestling" Arjun muttered with a chuckle

Raghav giggles " really mean, these will never be changed anymore "

“it's your fault who said to you to open your mouth in front of Megnna”Arjun scold Raghav

“Sorry yaar it suddenly came out from my mouth” Raghav replied

“It’s okay, For the time being, have mercy, these two should not be lost again, don't know of what will happen with this newly formed friendship ”Arjun said with amazed

“Phir Bhi qissa purana( old habits)!Raghav quipped 

“Shut up , Raghav”

“then what you have said?”Sanyogita asked him angrily
