Dharam after making sure Meera is sleeping peacefully, stealthily moves out of the room, to meet someone.

Ranjana is waiting for Dharam in the lawn on a swinger. He finally came down and sits besides her, as they starts discussing their next course of action. 'So now what? Kya socha hai, aage kya karna hai?' She asked him inquisitively.

'That's what, mein confused hu ki whether we should or,' before he can complete she interrupts him by taking his hand in hers, 'I know what you are thinking on. But let me be clear, that whatever decision you take, mein usmein tumhare saath hu, aur humesha rahungi. I can do anything for you! It's not a big deal for me, jaise tumhare liye bhi nahi thi, to convince my parents uske liye.'

'That's okay but what you are doing is no less for me,' he beams at her and she reciprocates it. 'By the way how's Rachel? Long time I saw her.'

'She is absolutely fine and infact she was going to be here with me, par usko phir kaam se Delhi jaana pada aaj subah.' She explains. 'By the way, tumne Meera se Kavya ke baare mein baat ki?'

'Oh, maybe next time we would meet,' he said blankly as his mind is revolving around the question she asked out of the blue. 'No, I didn't. Par aaj achanak uske baare mein kyu pucha?'

'Woh, baat hi kuch aise hai,' seeing her hesitating with it, he tells to go ahead and tell him everything, whatever she knows about it. She hums a nod and tells him, 'Okay, so the thing is..Um..So, Rachel met Kavya today and during their interaction, the topic of reunion of our group came up and now she is really keen on having one soon. And it's..And she told me, Kavya ne baccha rakha hai, she has not aborted it.'

He is totally numb after hearing this from her, but she continues as he needs to know the truth, 'And it's a bo..'

Before she can complete the sentence, she spots Meera's shadow from her room indicating she is awake. She urges him to go, as if she sees them together, then they will be in trouble. So, they quickly parts ways.

Just then, Meera opens the window and looks down but doesn't find anyone. 'Yaha pe toh koi bhi nahi hai. I think I should check outside once.'

Just when, she is about to open the door, he came in the room and pretends seeing her awake. 'Arey, tum uth gai. I thought you were sleeping.'

'Haan, mein so hi rahi thi that suddenly my eyes opened and on not finding you, I got worried. Kaha the app? Aur kaha se aa rahe hai?' She asked him.

'Kahi nahi bas woh ek urgent call aaya tha, so went out to attend it, aur tum so rahi thi, isiliye nahi jagaya tumhe, that's it!' He replies calmly. 'Chalo ab so jaate hai, kal tumhare liye bohot sari surprises hai!'

She hums a nod and goes back to sleep, while his mind is entrap with the conversation he had with Ranjana a while ago, where she mentioned about Kavya keeping the child, while he had clearly told her to do abortion.

The events of that night flashes in his mind and how Ranjana was telling him something more but couldn't due to Meera. 'Was she telling me it's a boy?' Thinks his mind. The whole night, this very thought keeps disturbing him. He doesn't know how to react on it, as he has mixed feelings regarding it.
