The light breeze of evening was touching the face of man, who was eagerly waiting for the woman to show up. His eyes were carrying impatience and eagerness, he was looking around his surrounding and was admiring it.

It was a very natural enigma, sun had set, moon light was giving a soothing touch to whole environment, stars are shining bright in the sky, and lake by the side of land was enhancing the beauty of the whole place. The cot has been covered with comfortable sheet, so he and she can talk comfortably,born fire is spreading its warmth to whole environment.

Abir’s heart skipped a beat as he saw his angry chorni coming towards him, dressed in a simple blue knee length one piece, his eyes started smiling seeing her, he got lost in her but his angry chorni is busy in admiring the surrounding, the look of mesmerized on her face was making Abir’s heart flatter.

He got up and came towards her, she smiled brightly seeing him and said

M-Abir this is so beautiful

Abir smiled as he sensed that she really liked it.

Mishti can’t stop smiling seeing the view, she had visited here before too but today the whole place was lit up by lanterns, which is giving a paranormal view to the whole ambiance. She smiled realizing the efforts Abir took to make this date special.

M-thank you so much Abir

Abir sighed dramatically and said

A-Mishti, tumhari dictionary mein thank you and sorry ke alawa koi words hai ya nahi

Mishti rolled her eyes at his dramatic behavior and said

M-tumne phone le liya uske liye bola

Abir smiled and said-mishti maine kaha tha na ki main phone le lunga, after all mujhe bhi to tumse baat karne ka man karega na

Mishti smiled looking down, Abir admired her shy nature. He is yet to understand his angry chorni, sometimes so bold and sometimes so shy.

Abir cleared his throat to grab her eyes attention to him and got successful in it when mishti looked up to meet his eyes. He extended his hands towards her and asked her to hold his hand

A-mishti ,ye jagah mere liye bahut special hai, and main chahta hu kit um aaj is jagah ko meri nazro se dekho, kyat um dekhna chahogi

Mishti smiled and hold his hand with full trust in her heart for him. He took her to the log placed right in front of lake. Mishti noticed cozy sheets covering the logs, not good in handling her curiosity she asked

M-abir ye log par chaadar kyu bichhai hui hai

Abir sheepishly said-vo mishti main yaha jab bhi aata hu ,to yahi baithkar apna aadha time spend karta hu, vaise mujhe in sheets ki zarurat nahi padti but aaj tum bhi ane waali thi na to socha ki shayad tumhe thoda uncomfortable lage isliye

Mishti got really surprised hearing this,

M(pov)-how can he be so thoughtful and so caring

M-Abir , tumhe ye sab krne ki zarurt nahi thi

A-I know angry chorni ki tumhe in sab cheezon ki zarurat nahi hai, but ye maine tumhare liye nahi kiya(mishti raise her brows hearing this), ye sab maine us ladki ke liye kiya hai jo aaj raat , akele, apne dil mein mere liye pura bharosa lekar mujhse milne aayi hai, jo mere har present ko apnaane ke liye tayyar hai fir chahe vo rajvansh house mein ho ya mere is banjaare ki basti mein, jise mujhpe pura bharosa hai ki main uska bharosa nahi todunga

Mishti smiled blushingly, her cheeks turned red hearing Abir’s word, it’s so true, she has started trusting him so much, she knows that he’ll never break her trust.

Abir made her sit on the log and knelt down in front of her,taking her hand in his, he said

A-kya itna trust karti ho tum mujhpe mishti

Mishti raised her eyes to meet his

M-agar trust nahi karti to yaha aati kya abir

Abir smiled at her innocent confession and said- Ye jagah mere liye bahut special hai mishti, mere dil ke bahut kareeb hai (settling himself beside her, he continues) yaha maine apne baba ke saath bahut khubsurat lamhein bitaaye hai mere bachpan ke, you know mishti , ye hamara secret hide out tha, ma se bachne ke liye hum dono yaha aate the, lake mein khelte the, baba mujhe ped pe chadate the, hum dono bahut masti karte the….

Mishti was just staring at Abir, she’s seeing an innocent small boy in this mature man. The way he’s recalling his childhood made mishti imagines the little Abir sitting on shoulder of his dad and both roaming around here. She smiled at the picture forming inside her head, little abir, she smiled more.

Abir was busy in recalling his childhood, while mishti was lost in admiring him, a sudden urge to pull his cheeks came in mishti’s mind,but she instantly removed it, how can she think like that, she blushed at this thought and then looked at Abir who was also looking towards her with raised brows

A-kya hua mishti,kaha kho gayi

Mishti shook her head, embarrassed at being caught.

A-tum thik hona?

Abir’s concern made her smile and she nodded her head saying

M-main bilkul thik hu Abir, bas yehi soch rahi thi ki tumaur tumhare baba kitne close the, kitni masti karte the tum unke saath, kitna khush rehte the

Abir smiled remembering his baba, a painful memory again hit his mind, when his baba left him without giving him any explanation

Seeing the painful expression Mishti got worried and asked his holding his hand

M-kya hua abir sab thik hai na

A-hmm, mishti jab mere baba mujhe chodke jaa rahe the na, tab hum yehi par the, mujhe aj bhi wo din yaad hai, maine unhe rokne ki bahut koshish ki thi , unse pucha bhi tha ki wo mujhe chodke kyu jaa rahe hai but unhone koi answer nahi diya. Bas chale gaye mujhe chodakar

Seeing tears in his eyes mishti’s heart pained. He’s Abir,the smiling, happy, over enthusiastic and always excited Abir, how can he be this broken and sad.

Mishti wiped a lone tear that escaped from his eyes

He looked towards her, his eyes asking for comfort and she took him in her arms, lending her shoulder for him to cry out his pain and agony that he has stored in his heart from years.

 M(while hugging him)-jaante ho Abir, ek ajeeb admi ne mujhse kaha tha ki jis tarah khushi mein hasna normal hota hai usi tarah dard mein rona normal hota hai, dil halka ho jaata hai

A little smiled appeared on his face hearing her words which are his words only, deciding to let go of his pain for now, he came out of the comfort that his angry chorni had offered him and said while looking at her

A-vaise tumhe jaanke bahut khushi hogi ki wo ajeeb insaan main hi hu baalike

Mishti’s eyes widened in shock hearing this

M-whaaat, matlab us din Kutch mein jis insane ne mujhe rumaloffer kiya tha , wo tum the

Abir nodded his head with a smile

M-hold on a sec, baalike…,matlab tum vaha bhi

A-ha balike, us purane mandir mein bhi main hi tha

Mishti got so amused hearing this

M-wow, mujhe to pata hi nahi tha, hum dono ek dusre ko Kutch ke time se jaante hai

A(smilingly)-ha mujhe bhi tab hi pata chala jab holi ke din tumhari ear ring mere haanthon mein aayi thi

 Both got lost in their holi memories

Mishti remembering the actions of Abir, his playfulness, his concern while giving her his handkerchief when she was crying, of course doing acting, but Abir’s concern then also was real

Abir was remembering Mishti’s attempts to put color on him and her words “Main tumhe apne rang mein rang dungi”, he smiled recalling that,she has really started coloring him in her colors.

Abir remembering holika almost chuckled realizing the coincidence

Mishti frowned and asked why he’s laughing , he smiled sheepishly and said

A-vo mishti tumhri ek ear ring mere paas reh gayi thi to,holika ke din jab nanko ne mujhse pucha tha ki vo ear ring kiski hai to maine usse mazaak mein keh diya tha ki ye uski bhabhi ki hai, aur aaj…

Abir didn’t complete the sentence deliberately seeing the shy look on mishti’s face,

A(pov)-god I won’t get tired ever seeing her beautiful pink hued face, she’s looking like a fresh flower

Mishti’s heart skipped a beat hearing Abir’s talks, she’s going to be a big part of his life and his family too.

Mishti cleared her throat to remove the beautiful awkwardness and said- chalein

Abir nodded standing up and they both moved towards cot.
