Next day

Maan was busy reviewing the desighns when someone barged in his Cabin prior intimation, He was about to blast on the person but the lady dressed in knee length Short skirt Hugged him tightly, He couldn't Get what was happening it was all so sudden... He separated her forcefully and Glared at her furiously. 

How dare you sameera he blasted on her.. she cowered back in fear looking at his blazing eyes. But she Confidently Yet timidity answered him. 

What's Wrong in hugging a fiance Maan she looked at him with anger.. 

Incase You forgot ms kapoor that was a fake one, fake engagement !! I never wore a ring to you nor you did !! It was just to make my parents believe that i was engaged to you ! never was i intrested in you, nor that damn deal your father brought up to my father he hissed dangerously. She looked at him shocked. 

yes it was, but our parents are thinking of to get us married in this week then how can you still say it's fake she shouted at him

DONT YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE INFRONT OF ME, and the thing you said its NEVER going to happen, we are over you can leave he barked at her.

 Maan closed his eyes and combed his hair back in frustration.. his decision of getting engaged with sameera was wrong, even if it was a fake one.. infact all his decisions which he took were wrong either its about going to shimla a year back or the way he was attracted to geet and loved her and Thought that she loved him back.. all wrong.. it was all wrong he whispered furiously and throwed the paper weight to the corner in anger.. the glass broke into pieces depicting his own heart which she broke him. 

I hate you Geet, I hate you for making Me feel like this He uttered looking into the oblivion

Savitri Khurana Entered Into the Small two stored building.. the house was small but had a homely feeling, it had a large garden where the various flowers were grown on one side and the other other side some vegetables were grown tomatoes, Lemon and chilli.. she was surprised it brought her back the memories of her in childhood she used to grow them before her house just like this, she smiled thinking her decision was not wrong.. she knocked on the closed door and after few Minutes she had seen a young beautiful girl aged Between 23 opened the door. Savitri was lost in the angelic eyes of the girl standing before her in a simple Maroon colored Salwar kameez, her doe eyes were beautiful but looked hollow and has pain in them, she was brought by her clearing throat 

"jii !??" Geet asked confusingly looking at the elderly women who was looking at her with scrutinizing gaze.. she felt timid infront of her, the elderly women was wearing a Cream colored saree, her neck had a pearl necklace.. her eyes held power.. she was confused to see an unknown stranger infront of her, Geet thought she was judging her with that look of hers, but she could be wrong, isn't it? Then savitri smiled, her smile warm and welcoming, she returned it, but she it didnt reach her eyes!!

Betaa Hum savitri devi Haii, I'm here to meet mohinder handa, is he there ? Savitri asked smiling at her, she choose not to say her surname. 

"jii Hain, andhar aayiye Geet said politely smiling at her. And opened the door wide to let elderly women in. Something about this elder lady brought calmness in her as if she will let everything back in place and she didnt know why! She made her sit in the sofa and gave her the water.. Savitri liked the small garden inside the hall. It was a duplex house she observed, it was small. But modern.

Geet waited for her father to come to the hall, she didnt dare to enter study room as she knew he would not like it..She sighed it was sunday so his father was at home. He was a manager in the bank, he got a promotion a year back. 

A year back she thought and it brought all the memories of certain him. And how she dared to open her mouth infront of her father. She chided herself she couldn't think about him or the days she let her heartout to her father, not when she hurted him and denied his love, and not when she hurt her father and disrespected his decision. She was brought back the voice of her mother. Before her mother could question the elderly lady, the lady said herself said.

Hum Savitri Devi hai, Mai mohinder Handa se Baat karne aayi hoon savitri said Her mother smiled 

Jii Mai unki Mrs Rano Handa, i will let him know..  she said smiling and disappeared into the adjacent corner of the room. Savitri looked at the house, 

Geet stood there awkwardly not knowing what to say ! She couldnt leave the old lady alone. She was in her own thoughts that she forgot Savitri was looking at her with smile on her face looking at her hands which were busy in fidgeting her dupatta she decided to break her nervousness. 

Aapki Naam kya hain beti savitri asked breaking that favourite habit of hers. She looked up and said smiling 

Jii Mai Geet Handa, Geet smiling at her. Savitri smiled and nodded she was about to ask her something when she had seen her father and mother approaching them. 

Savitri Introduced herself to him and Mohinder Nodded understandingly, he took her to the lawn.  Geet observed Her father knew the old lady, she went to her Room upstairs and closed the door, she was getting this feeling That this old lady is going to change her life.. the way she looked at her and asked her. It all said one thing!! Her heart pounded under her chest even to think about at that side. Was she here For any Rishta?? But her Father said he wouldn't do anything which she disliked when she uttered the truth a year back, she gulped she didn't want to think about it!! She closed her eyes in pain..

Jii hum Tayyar hain!! Mohinder said After few talks with Savitri khurana.. Savitri smiled.

I do Know, jaise hum Apne pote ki kushi chahthe hai aap bhi aapni betii ki kushi Chahthe Hain. Tho kya Hum rishta pakka kare? Savitri asked smiling

" Jii zaroor, I did took a hasty decision a year back and I don't want to do it Now, I promised my daughter that I would let her marry to that person whom she loves Even when I don't like it, But see I couldn't bear to see My daughter in pain anymore. I was feeling guilty all this year that I couldn't bring her The thing she wanted par kehte Haina the thing which we want with pure heart will come to us in one way or the other, I would love to Give My daughter's Hand to your Grand son Maan Singh khurana He said smiling at the old lady reminscing of the Memory a year back!!

Flashback 

Mohinder was observing her daughter, it has been a week since she was back from the Shimla. She was unusually silent and he could understand his daughter too well than her own self! He wanted to know why she gloomy, since from childhood he had brought everything their Children wanted and Seeing her younger daughter like this pricked him, didn't she trust him enough to share her sorrows!! And whenever he brought the Engagement matter. Her eyes would reflect pain and Sorrow. He was Not that insensitive to understand that little flicker change of emotions in her eyes.. Her eyes told him that she was feeling guilty for something!! But what he doesn't know!?.. He Asked Mr chopra to give Them time, He didn't fix the Rishta yet, He just asked her to see Dev and if she didn't like it she could refuse him any time..Then Why was it so difficult for her to say a No.... Then it went on for 2 Months!! Her bubbly daughter who would smile at him and hug him Whenever he returned home after office was missing.. She would smile at him, Hug him but the warmth was missing. Unable to bear her daughter's aloofness he confronted her!! 

What is it geet He asked sternly entering into her bedroom, as always she was lost looking at the view outside the window. Startled She immediately wiped off her tears but it was too late he had already seen it.. She looked at her Father and smiled but it didn't warm his heart, her eyes didn't reflect her happiness. 

Paapa Aap Kab aaye she said and hugged him. But he parted her away looked at her for few minutes making her look down. 

Geetu when Did you become so Mature that you started hiding things from your father!? He said and turned her towards himself she was still looking down! 

Geetu Jab koi galati karta hai Vahi aanke Jhukata hain, I didn't Brought up my daughters and sons like that, Never.. I always wanted them to be confident and do the things which they always Felt is right!! He said Making her look at him. She felt tears brimming her eyes.. What could she say? That She loved a person and in the process of keeping her fathers trust she had hurt Him and Now she was feeling guilty and couldn't concentrate on anything other than him!!?? 

Kya Hua, Paapa se baat Nahii karogii?? He said Smiling at her..  She hugged Him tightly and sobbed... He engulfed her daughter in his arms and let her cry.. He heard Her murmer 

Papaa I hurt Him...., I hurt him Papa..., he hates me.. He hates me She hiccupped.. 

Kaun!? Whom did you hurt? He asked holding her shoulders..  She couldn't get away from this situation now She Had to say her father the truth.. So she said it all what she felt for Maan since childhood.. How he went away and how she realized that she loved him and then again meeting each other in shimla, his proposal, her rejection. Mohinder Stood Frozen listening to her each word!! But he calmed down.

You loved Him!! Then why did you Refuse his love??? he asked looking at his daughter who was standing in front of him in her Vulnerable state.. But she remained rooted didn't say anything and then He knew How he made her promise him that She should never fall in love with anyone!!! He sighed and closed his eyes

So you refused his love because of my promise ??  He whispered and she nodded slowly her tears flowing down feerly... He didn't want to talk to her Now, he needed Time to grasp each and everything she said, he had got all his answers he moved away from her room. 

He didn't talk to his daughter after that!! He hadn't had that courage to face his daughter who sacrificed her childhood love just because of his one promise!! He felt so small in front of her..His daughter faced so much pain and also that Boy who loved his daughter... What should he do Now??!! He Hated love marriages because he always got to hear that they were unsuccessful in forming relationships! He used to fear that they can break anytime, so he didn't wanted his children to fall in love.. So in his Vulnerable state He took that promise but now what he heard from her daughter says that she loved him truly all her life but just his promise made her break that, His heart pricked, her daughter let go of her love for Him, now he would do everything to bring them back together he promised himself!!!
