Her Broken Heart 

Gauri Mehra was busy with her  colouring book   that she didn't give much attention to the sound of raised voices in her house .  At the age of the four the little girl was used to the arguments and also know enough to stay away .Because the first time she waddled between her parents ,her father pushed her aside and she fell down and it hurt so bad . 

She was still busy with colouring the monkey pink  that she didn't hear a pair of footsteps until they stood beside her ,she looked up to see her mother face filled with tears ,the little girl hated it when her mother cried and yet her mother  always told Gauri that it was her fault  that she had been crying . 

" Get up ,we are leaving " her mother voice echoed in the room as she grabbed her hand and made her to walk out of her room , when Gauri tried to get her colouring book ,her mother snatched it out of her hand and threw it out of the window leaving the little girl in tears . Yet she held them back because she knew her mom didn't like it if  she cried .   

Gauri didn't understand why they lived in a new home after that day ,neither did she understand why her father no longer returned home everytime she asked her mother about her dad ,she would either burst into tears or get angry at her that Gauri stopped asking about him in fear .  And a month later her mother enrolled  her in kindergarten , a place where Gauri can learn everything she said before she dropped her off . And it was where she finally got friends to play with and Gauri liked making new friends .

She was happy for a little awhile and yet her heart would break just a little whenever she saw  other parents hugging or kissing their children ,since no one really did it for her . But even that happiness didn't last for long . Six months after moving to a new home ,she came home one day to see her father waiting at the doorstep . She ran towards him just like the others kids did  when they saw their parents but he only pushed her away yet again ,reminding her that he didn't want to play with her.  

 Once again Gauri heard her parents screaming at each other and at the end of the fight ,her mom came to her room and dragged her outside .Gauri thought she was moving away once again but when her mom made her sit in her father car and went back inside ,she realized that this time her mother  was not coming with her .

 Her father drove her back to her old house , where she saw someone else in the house who looked at her with anger ,and Gauri didn't know what she did wrong ,she felt like crying but she held them back as she was scared that her father might push her again .That night ,she tucked herself in bed and cried the whole night . She cried because no one talked to her ,she cried because she was hungry and she cried because she wanted her mother back .
