RECAP: NIKKI ENTERS.. HER BEAHVIOUR IS COLD TOWARDS GUPTAS.. NIKKI ND RIDHHIMA'S BOND MAKE ANJIE ND SHASHANK JEALOUS.. PADMA ND SHASHANK GETS TO KNOW ABOUT NIKKI IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE.. ATUL TELLS MR.MALLIK ABOUT HIS ND ANJIE'S RELATIONSHIP..

Part 23

Atul was dazed when Mr.Mallik left the room without a word.. he thought Mr.Mallik was angry that's why he was quiet..

While on the other hand Mr.Mallik entered the kitchen to find Ridhhima nd Muskaan there.. they both were puzzled with look on his face.. "Do you both know about Atul nd Anjali Shashank Gupta..?" he asked on a hoarse voice.. Ridhhima nd Muskaan looked at eachother nd gulped.. Ridhhima really thought that his mood was good that's why she asked Atul to talk today but here things seem to take a completely different turn.. Ridhhima gathered a lot of courage nd managed to say it with breaks.. "Ji papa.." saing this she looked up to find him waiting for Muskaan's answer.. when muskaan realised that she also nodded her head silently in agreement..

 "Hmm.. to tumhe kya lagta hai.. Anjali aur Atul saath khush rahenge..?" He again questioned with a straight face.. while both Ridhhima nd Muskaan nodded.. Ridhhima saw a small smile on Mr.Mallik's face nd now was abit confident that he'll accept so she said "Papa.. vo dono ekdusre se bohot pyaar karte hain.. aap please Dr.Gupta se baat kariye na.." he nodded nd said "Beta main sirf unse baat kar sakta hoon.. lekin main unhe kisi bhi tarah force nahi karunga to say yes.. it would be his family's decision.." Mr.Mallik said.. he wanted to clarify it before hand that he won't ask for Anjali's hand keeping the deal at stake.. he would propose for Anjali's hand very personally nd not at all professionally..

 
Outside Atul was standing waiting for Mr.Mallik in the hall.. he had a glum face.. Mr.Mallik patted his shoulder nd said "I'll talk to Dr.Gupta about it.. but the decision will be his whether he finds you apt for his daughter or not.. although I have no doubts about the fact that any girl you'll love will be lucky.."

Just then Mr.Maalik got a call nd got busy in it.. Atul quickly rushed to is room happily nd dialed Anjali's number.. he asked her to meet her in the garden of Mallik house.. Anjali somehow made an excuse to Padma nd sneeked out before Shashank comes to question.. as soon as Atul sees her he picks her up nd twirls her around.. taken by surprise Anjie was numb for the moment..

Finally when he put her down she was amazed to see the excitement on his face.. as he was catching his breath she asked "Waaooh.. someones really happy today.. kya baat hai.. hume bhi to pata chale.." He just smiled nd took her hand in between his both..

As they were standing close Anjie was feeling concious.. Unknown to them Shashank was looking at them from his window.. when he came to the window he saw Anjie in Atul's arms so he waited nd observed.. on the otherside Atul told Anjie about Mr.Mallik knowing everything now nd was ready to talk to her family.. in excitement Anjali hugged that instant.. while Shashank fumed at this.. He felt his second daughter leaving him alone too.. he wasn't that dumb to realise the relationship between Atul nd Anjali looking at their faces at that point.. it was surely not friendship it was way too much more to it.. "Main aisa nahi hone dunga.. I won't lose my other daughter to Mallik's charm too.."he thought nd made a call to someone..

It was the time to sign the deal now.. Shashank had invited Mr.Mallik for dinner..

All were seated at Gupta house when Padma asked Rahul "Rahul beta, Armaan, Ridhhima aur Nikki kahan hai.. vo log nahi aa rahe..?" she had expected this but certainly wished herself to be proved wrong.. she was thinking when Mr.Mallik said "Actually Ridhhima wasn't feeling well.. so Armaan nd Nikki stayed with her.."

Shashank smirked at Mr.Mallik's reply.. he very well knew it was all a lie, she was perfectly fine.. it was just that she wanted to avoid being here.. with in a few moments the deal was signed.. Shashank was more than happy at this.. he thanked Jai Mallik for his help nd asked about the Doctor from Drona who is gonna stay here nd supervise the new working system nd check the apt usage of funds provided..

"Dr.Gupta.. yeh decision Drona ke owners ka hoga.. Atul aur Muskaan to yahan hain lekin Armaan aur Ridhhima ke bina yeh bhi decide nahi kar sakte.." Mr.Mallik put his point forward politely.. looking at shashank nodding he again smiled nd thought of something.. Finally he addressed Shashank nd Padma nd said he wants to discuss something important..

"Actually Dr.Gupta.. I want to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage with Atul.. both of them love eachother nd even families know eachother.. so ummm.." Mr.Mallik expected a YES.. but got the biggest shock when Shashank replied

"I'm Sorry Mr.Mallik but I've already promised my friend.. he wants Anjali nd his son to get married nd that's what is my wish too.. Atul achha ladka hai lekin.." he was cut in between by Anjali who was numb.. "Dad.. you never told me you fixed my marriage with someone.. I'm not gonna have an arrange marriage.. I Love Atul dad.. is your promise more valuable than my happiness..?."

Anjali's tone nd harshness in her words aggravated Shashank more.. he asked to shut up nd go to her room nd they'll discuss this later.. while noone noticed Atul had already left Gupta house by the time Anjie spoke.. he was shattered.. his first love ever was now gonna marry someone else.. When AR nd Nikki saw him moving to his room silently they were confused..

It was way past dinner now.. Nikki who was in Atul's room since the time he was back from Gupta house.. after so many hours when he spoke Nikki was damn furious looking at his sad face..

"Why did this happen Niks.. Am I not good enough for a father to give away his daughter.. I love her Niks.." Atul asked..

"AJ you're not at all bad okk.. its just that they don't understand you.. I told you before also.. shes not worth it.." Nikki said trying to make him feel good.. but it wan't like everytime a passing affair.. it was love this time.. for the first time has Nikki seen Atul crying this much.. After sometime when he was asleep Nikki went out taking his mobile with her so that he doesn't get disturbed..

As she was walking to her room unknowingly her steps took her to AR's room.. Looking at her lost face they knew what was on her mind.. She just looked up at AR nd said "He actually loves her.. I thought its just a normal affair like the past ones.. I've never seen him cry bhabhi.."

"Relax kiddo.. we cannot do anything till dad is here.. he won't support any of OUR kinda plans to get Anjie on track.." Armaan said.. as soon as he said that an idea struck Ridhhima..

"Armaan why don't both of us take charge of Sanjeevni.. Kiddo can stay back with us saying she'll be with Arav.. nd the rest can move back to London.." Ridhhima said.. looking at their lost faces she continued "Look as it is its not good for Atul bhaiya to stay here.. he'll gain nothing but more nd more tears out of it.. Rahul has his international concert lined up so Muski Di will accompany him.. but papa..? how will we convince papa to go back..?"

"uski chinta aap matt karo.. main koi legal emergency create kar dungi.." Nikki said smiling abit..

It was three days since Shashank's denial to AA's relationship.. none of the malliks were going to Sanjeevni.. Today was the day when AR nd Nikki's plan came to action.. the flights for the evening were booked nd al were set to go.. Atul wanted to meet Anjali before going but this could fail AR's plan.. they wanted Anjie to realise what Atul means in her life nd that she could realise only when Atul distances himself from her..

 
All these three days, the members of Mallik house have seen a completely different side of Atul.. the bubbly nd juvenile Atul has turned into a serious nd calm Atul.. he had quickly accepted that Shashank has actually rejected him nd he knew Anjali will never go against her father.. his aggression nd anger would only make things worse for Anjali he thought..

 While on the other side Anjali has completely closed herself in her room.. she comes out only to go to Sanjeevni.. she has stopped taking meals at home with Padma nd Shashank.. whenever asked she used to say she has had it in Sanjeevni but her dropping health was saying something else..

Shashank wanted to reach out nd support his daughter but he stopped himself from doing that.. his heart used to die several deaths seeing his daughter in so much pain but his mind use to take him at a completely different track.. "Atul Anjali se koi pyar vyar nahi karta.. yeh sab sirf ek chaal hai uss Armaan ki mujhse meri dusri beti bhi dur karne ki.. agar Atul Anjali se pyar karta to kamse kam ek baar to milne aata na jaane se pehle.. main sahi hoon.. waqt lagega lekin Anjali bhi samajh jayegi iss sach ko.." Shashank thought nd went to sleep..

At the same time in Mallik house things were forming a different shape.. Armaan, Ridhhima nd Nikki have planned something really provocative to see the intensity of Anjali's love for Atul.. knowing Anjali for almost whole of her life Rdhhima knew the weak points.. Although Anjai is very sweet nd good at heart but she is very jealous nd hates people who try to take her loved ones away.. nd this was it.. they're going to hit these two points the most..

Discussing the plan once more they slept waiting for the next morning to give Shashank nd Anjali a shock..

Next Day at Sanjeevni..

Ridhhima nd Armaan entered Shashank's cabin with a file in their hands.. they waited for Shubhankar, Kirti nd Anjali to join in.. As everyone settled Ridhhima gave the file to Shashank giving the biggest shock.. the file said that from now on Dr.Armaan Mallik nd Dr.Ridhhima Mallik will be incharge of Sanjeevni.. all the senior doctors nd even Dr.Shashank Gupta will have to submit them a weekly report detailing the usage of money nd other things.. The other shock was all the legal matters will be taken care off by Ms.Nikita Mallik..

"lekin Mr.Mallik to keh rahe thhe that most probably Steve or Ron will take over.." Shashank said only to get an instant reply from Armaan "Yes Dr.Gupta that's true.. but due to some personal reasons we have decided to take charge instead.. nd one more thing.. the decision is final nd signed from all the board members of Drona.." listening to Armaan's challenging tone Shashank clentched his fists..

Kirti nd Shubhankar were happy having their favourite juniors back in Sanjeevni as their heads now.. Still Kirti asked in a confused tone "Dr.Ridhhima.. agar aap aur Dr.Armaan yahan honge to Arav kahan rahega.. Nikita ko bhi to yahan aate rehna padega na.." Ridhhima smiled at her concern nd was about to answer when she felt it was the perfect time for the plan.. so she said "Maam bas kuch hi dino ki baat hai phir hum sab ko vapas London janaa hoga.. coz Nikki is getting married to Atul bhaiya.. as soon as the arrangements are done hume bhi jana hoga phir Arav ko hum vahin Muski di ke paas chod denge thode time ke liye.."

As soon as Ridhhima said it Anjali was in shock.. she never thought Atul would get married nd that to with Nikki.. but then he mind rewind the incidents from Lonavla.. Nikki's surprise entry.. her coldness towards guptas.. her close behaviour towards Atul.. they knew eachother from childhood.. they were in a relationship in college.. all these words rung in her ears.. unknowingly she got up nd left Shashank's cabin while Armaan nd Ridhhima exchanged victorious looks..

While Shashank mentally patted himself for rejecting a man who claimed to love his daughter nd with in a few days getting married to someone else..

Anjali was shattered completely with this news.. her heart says no even Atul is forced in this marriage like she is being forced by her father.. but at the same time her mind says NO.. koi uske saath zabardasti kyun karega.. she was completely losing it now.. she was now driving at speed.. as soon as she crossed Mallik house to reach hers her feet stopped.. she was damn angry as if murder Nikki at sight.. she entered the gate to see Arav playing in the garden with the dog Armaan had gifted Ridhhima on her birthday nd Nikki was sitting on a small bench with her back facing Anjali..  Anjali stepped closer nd froze when she heard Nikki on the phone.. she was talking to someone who seemed very close..

She could hear only one sided coversation ie. Whatever Nikki was saying..

"I'm missing you too.."

"I know baby but I need to be here with Arav na or else I would have come to London right away.."

'''''''''''''. (this made Anjie more angry.. thinking even Atul stays in London..)

"Hmmm.. someones desperate for marriage haan..? no problems.. Ridhhima bhabhi se baat karo.. jab unhone shaadi fix karvane ki responsibility li hai to prepone bhi vo hi karva sakti hain.."

"Achha I'll call you in a while.. I need to make Arav eat something.. bye.."

As she disconnected nd turned around she stopped looking at Anjie.. her eyes were brimming with tears of helplessness nd anger.. "Hey.. tum yahan kaise..?" Nikki asked as if she knew nothing.. Anjie didn't answer her just kept staring at her in shock nd anger.. while Nikki was smirking reading her expressions.. her tears somewhat made Nikki happy for making Atul cry so much but deep down she felt bad too for playing this game..

 
"What are you doing here Anjali..?.." Nikki again questioned..
"Why are you doing this..?" Anjali finally spoke.. Nikki gave a confused expression nd said "What are you talking about..?" Her innocent expressions annoy Anjie more.. "Don't you dare act innocent with me.. main Ridhhima nahi hoon jise tum apne iss bhole chehre se bewakoof bana logi.." Anjali said in a stern voice only to get a curt reply from Nikki "You don't need to remind me that.. I know you can never be like Ridhhima bhabhi.. she has courage to fight for her love.. she had that determination to leave her family for her true love.. but you.. you've given up even before fighting.. to be honest I was never convinced that you love AJ.. nd see I was so right.. you've deserted him for our father's egotism.."

 
"Enough Niki.. main dad ko nahi chod sakti nd Atul knew it all the while.. I never told him that I'll run away with him like Ridz did.. Do you love Atul..?" Anjali asked in a curious voice nd tears flowing.. "Yes I do.. but I promise not to marry him if you're going to be with him.. main sirf itna hi kar sakti hoon ki tumhare pyar ki ladai mein saath de sakti hoon aur agar tum nahi ladna chahti to mujhe tumse aur koi baat nahi karni.. you can leave.." Nikki said in a softer tone as she sensed Anjie breaking down..

 "he can't marry someone like this.. he said he loved me.."

"So did you.. if you can marry someone else why can't AJ do the same.. you don't own his life.. do you..?." nikki said in a sarcastic tone..

 

Listening to Nikki's words Anjie fell on her knees nd realised what she had lost.. she has lost her first love.. or her last love ever.. her only true friend, she had found in last two months.. she had hurt him so much that he had given her place to someone else.. getting up she just turned nd walked away like a robot, with no feelings..

Looking at his daughter getting more weak nd was adamant to starve herself to death made Shashank teary.. she would just sit in her room nd stare in space.. everyday once in the night she would cry her heart out hugging Atul's picture nd the ring he had given her in Kasauli..

"Aap yeh theek nahi kar rahe Shashank.. vo marr jayegi.." Padma said to Shashank.. "Kuch nahi hoga usse.. thode din mein samhal jayegi apne aap.." Shashank said in heavy voice..

"Aap kyun kar rahe hain aisa..? kya burai hai Atul mein..?."

"Burai Atul mein nahi uski company mein hai.. main nahi chahta ki meri dusri beti bhi kal ko mujhse Ridhhima Armaan Mallik bann kar baat kare.. na to mujhe kabhi Armaan ke pyaar aur sach par bharosa thha aur nahi mujhe aaj uske dost ke pyar par yakeen hai.. kya hoga agar yeh sab pyar ka naatak sirf ek badla hua to.. meri beti ki zindagi to barbaad ho chuki hogi na.." Shashank said in a worked up tone..

Next Morning Padma came running to Shashank to inform him that Anjali has fainted due to weakness.. She was immideately taken to Sanjeevni.. being no other doctor there in Sanjeevni so early Armaan had attended her as being a relative Shashank cannot attend her..

"Patient ka BP bohot low hai.. lagta hai kaafi dino se theek se khana nahi khaya isliye weakness ki vajah se faint ho gayi.. drip laga di hai thodi der mein hosh aa jayega.. Kal subah discharge kar denge.. " Armaan said to Shashank in a professional tone.. nd left the room after giving him a disgruntled look..

 

Afew hours later Anjali opened her eyes trying to recollect what had happen nd where is she.. she turned to look at Ridhhima reading the medicine chart.. "Ridz.." Anjie moaned with tears in her eyes.. Ridhhima quickly ran to support her nd made her sit.. "Aap bohot weak hain.. you need to have proper diet nd a lot of rest.." Ridhhima said in a concerned voice..

"Tune aisa kyun kiya Ridz.. sab jaante hue tune Atul aur Nikki ki shaadi.. tujhe nahi pata how much we love eachother..?" Anjali said with a gr8 effort as she was weak.. while at the door Padma was standing listening to this nd crying..

"agar nibha nahi sakte to pyar karna hi nahi thha di.. maine apko pehle bhi bataya thha pyar ke jeetne ka ehsaas bohot khubsoorat hota hai.. lekin bina lade koi nahi jeeta di.. pyar har zakhm bhar deta hai chahe vo kitna hi gehra kyun na ho.. mujhe aapse koi problem nahi hai di.. lekin jab aap kisi aur se shaadi kar sakti hain to Atul bhaiya kyun nahi.." Anjali was silent.. she has no answer to Ridhhima's words.. Ridhhima continued in the softer tone "Pata hai di.. maine Armaan ki family mein ek baat bohot achhi dekhi hai.. determination to fight nd win.. jab bhi koi mushkil deal hoti ya koi important surgery hoti thhi to papa humesha kehta thhe beta jab tak ladoge nahi tab tak jeet nahi paoge.. agar pehle hi haar maan gaye to jeet ki umeed bhi bekaar hai.. vo kehte hain ki humare paas problem mein do options hote hain.. EK ki haar maanlo aur zindagi bhar yeh sochkar jiyo ki ladte to shayad jeet jaate.. aur DO ki apni poori takat se lado taaki agar haar jao to bhi koi gam na ho.."

Saying so she kissed Anjali's forehead nd turned to leave saying "yeh aapki marzi hai di ki aap haar maano aur apna pyar kho do ya phir lado aur usse apni zindagi bana lo.. I'll pray for you.." she left even without greeting Padma on her way..

Padma was proud that her little Ridhhima had said such a big thing.. she knew what Ridhhima said was true but she can't say it.. she was feeling miserably stuck between her daughter nd husband..

 
THIS WAS THE PART.. I KNOW IT WAS SAD BUT VERY CRITICAL FOR ME..
I REALLY NEED TO KNOW IF IT WAS GOOD ND UPTO UR EXPECTATIONS OR NOT..
